How does the vin# work for an ownership?
Can someone just tell me how to add the fluid? Omg thjs has been the worst car ive owned 🤦🏻♀️😩 so you cant just add fluid without draining it ???
@@Bianca-rc3qo watch the video where I add fluid and I show you where to add fluid.
What about a VIN?
@@davestevens4193 I have a video on how to get vin numbers
@1194video cool
I'm not as handy, or ambitious, as I was 40yrs ago. Do you know if anyone sells a rolling chassis? I'll build my own 351 Windsor.... with 289 air cleaner and valve covers, of course!
This is one way of doing it. Better than trying to find one paying a fortune and then having to fix everything. Looks like a great project.
How many cost of all metal parts?
The fastback is looking marvelous.
Dejo el like por el tío con la botella de alcohol en el fondo.😂😅
Almost half of your camera angle is blocked by the list of costs.
wow I seldom watch a long DIY video all the way through without skipping along, however this was a most interesting and informative video Ive watch in months and watched every minute of it. I would assume this was about 120 hours of one person with a little help to get the body assembled and welded ? and question were the assembly direction that came with the kit of any use at all ? thank you sir for posting your videio, I look forward to watching the suspension installation.
@@siliconvalleyengineer5875 it didn’t come in a full kit I had to look and research each piece needed to assemble a complete body and order every single pace separate so there weren’t any instructions. I had a donor Mustang sitting outside that I used to make measurements when building this car in the video so that everything would lineup correctlyand everything was done by me and I did get help from my late father-in-law to help hold pieces and carry sections to put in place that were heavier than I could lift comfortably
Dude, you want us to subscribe, you need to get you some decent lights in that shop. The flicker those cheap lights cause on your video would give an unconscious man a headache.
@@stevecorcoran9869 if I had known that the camera was recording at that frame right causing the flickering I would have fixed the problem immediately, but I had done over an hour of recording before I stopped the camera and checked so there was nothing I could do at that point, and if I didn’t include the first part in the video, I would have started the videomidway through and it would confuse people
Thank you I found this video 😊
Approximately, how much would all the parts cost to do a build like this? Less labour. (That a different ball of wax)
@@Danomite99 well this one here considering you already have a 67/8 car, this is roughly 50-70 the seats alone are 7k from tmi and wheels are custom made so cost a pretty piece, you can build on a budget though
@ what a beauty.
Where did the serial number come from for registration
@@RobertStoner-qn5ez the state issues them
@1194video Do you register it as current year after you are issued a registration number? Not sure how that works
@ it is built using reproduction body panels therefore it goes by the year the panels are, mine being 67 quarters it’s register as a 1967 mustang
@1194video then why not use vin number from original car or do you
@ if you don’t have an Origional car you have to go through the state
Absolutely gorgeous car. You do great work.
@@markhubanks3715 thank you
Thank you so much for great job, and I need to ask you, how many quarter of transmission fluid does 2014 Chevy equinox 2.4 engine need? Thanks
@@nhaimour1310 I wish I had an answer for you but I don’t, the service manual says to do it this way that I did on the video, I’m sure there is an answer but I did not check the amount when I drained the fluid
Wow, that was quick response, I never expected that, I Really do appreciate. A big Thanks to you sir.
Hey, this answered all my questions, I'm also in TN, thanks a bunch 😊👍💯
Good info. just a little different in Pa. Instead of them coming to look at your car you will have to take to a state approved enhanced inspection station. before they ok and issue a title
Wow. I was nervous as hell making sure my 66 coupe car was sitting completely level. Before cutting out rear frame rail. Along with fender aprons core support and inner and outer cowl panels. I took so many measurements my head was about to explode. But everything turned out right drives straight i was over concerned. This guy is building an entire car with aftermarket parts I'd probably need powerful prescription medication to get through that brain buster.
@@beekeeper7535 hundreds of measurements and lots of time with a laser level.

There is just NO WAY a factory car was put together BETTER than this car you’re building. NO WAY.
@@tphvictims5101 white would be a nice color for sure, and it doesn’t take knowing how before you start rather, taking your time with each step making sure it’s in the right place before welding
I could build one WOBBLY BENT UP POS 😂. I SWEAR ITS TRUE. I forgot to mention that I would use plywood for the windows 😂.
Final color COULD be white. A friend of mine WAY back in the day had one with a 428 4 speed. That car was DEFINITELY ANGRY. White looks good on that car. Also it looked good on Grumpy Jenkins cars.
Nice 👍🏽 video can I ask where you got your wheels?

@@aragurn9019 it’s like putting together a puzzle!!!! It was fun
You have a good eye for metal work. I can't wait for the completion, motor, trans etc.
So i seen your other video of the one from American Muscle as well, whats the difference? And which one would you recommend? I have a 13 v6 and need a new bumper so was thinking of upgrading while i was at it
@@ZorenSosa I wouldn’t recommend either one. Buy a Roush or Shelby. Something you know fits great, these both are pretty crap
@@1194video they damage easily? Whats the main issue?
@ it fits ok, the big issue is the only thing holding it to the car is the side clips to fender and top mount, the bottom is open, it doesn’t secure to the inner fenders at all, there is a large gap at the bottom and sides and the bottom where the dust shield should be is gone, it doesn’t secure or come with one and the stock one will not fit. I would never have do it to my car if I knew all those things, the one from American muscle is a better kit but it also has an open bottom so you will need to make brackets to get the bottom edge to fit the inner fenders
@ damn so the dust shield won’t work for the AM version…didn’t know that one had to come off
@ neither has the lower shield so when your looking at the front of the car you see the ground through the lower grill, it’s horrible
Would it be nice for a hatchback?
@@Sir_Wilo long as your not looking to shake the windows, good for added bass
@ no i just sold my music system with 2 12inch kickers .. hot tired of shaking the block everywhere i go. I need to down grade
@ it does good for extra base. I like that it came with a bass knob which helps
Very good, my approach would to have a center piece off the box section frame running right through the assembly that way you could easy check the car is even both sides also tack bars off the centre bar. Very good just needs a point of reference
@@theessexhunter1305 long as you have a frame with adjustable raise arms, the frame itself is the point of reference to the body
@@1194video Yes I know as worked on car-bench car-o-liners for a good while with measuring systems. What you are doing is v nice just more than one way to skin a cat
@ it’s not the best way but it’s all I have at the moment, if I did it for a living I’d invest in the large frame jigs but since this was just done on a whim I didn’t have one so had to make it
If you’re in America, you can buy everything!

Question about the "shell" only portion of the car (first 1:20 of the video or so). What was your cost at this point? You can purchase the entire shell from Classic Industries for $16,775. Now that's not what I consider "pocket change" when messing with classic cars. But purchasing a donor car plus all of the other required sheet metal plus labor and time can't be that cheap. Not to mention it was most likely built with fixtures.
@@dutycalls4991 ruclips.net/video/n7V2bd5GZhs/видео.htmlsi=Nz3nizJRpdYbTZz7 iv built the full bodies but it’s a ton cheaper to do either, build complete or full rust repair over buying a completed body
