I think this is the best set up I’ve seen. No disrespect to anyone else but this one seems practical and very pretty. Like you said you now have space to do spreads for books you love, and we all know your gonna find another author who’s back list you are going to want to devour.

Most of the books I dislike are because I am bored or because the author goes overboard on the spice when it doesn't call for it. I read romance because I like the romance, BUT there is more to romance then just spicy scenes. There are also definitely places where it works in the story for progressing the relationship or the story further along, but gratuitous spice just to seemingly pad a book annoys me. I read a trilogy by Ann Grech that was like this. I barely finished it and only did because I wanted to see what actually happened. Every other chapter was spicy scenes. So for a trilogy that basically could have been a thick standalone or a duet if the unneeded scenes were cut out. It's like the author decided it HAD to be a trilogy so stuffed as much spice into as possible to drag it out, lol. I read approximately 250+ books a year so I often forget characters names, but that book has kept the hatred burning, so I guess thats something LOL. A series I got to book 2 before DNFing for the same reason was the Private Listing series by CS Berry. Sorry this topic gets me fired UP! Hah.

i picked up the coward too and i will probably read it but my initial read of the back i was like, ooh nice a pathetic man i can get behind a burnt out dude doin something. but upon the initial like 40 pages im not impressed, dude is not nearly pathetic enough. i'll read it soon but i don't think you're missing out by unhauling it lol

I'm trying to think of what my top book for 2024 was. I think it was The Reluctant Hero by Gina Morris. It was a late in the year read but I've recommended to so many people. The FMC has an anger problem but it explodes out of her in snark and banter that I love. It is why-choose and it was a new to me author. I have SO many books I've had to struggle to get through because the author goes overboard on the spicy times. There is a time and place for all that in the story, make it make sense. The most recent series I had to DNF which I almost never do was by CS Berry. I loved the premise but they were shagging in every chapter, sometimes multiple times in a chapter. For a 4 book series it probably could have been a standalone if she cut back on all that. I wasn't impressed and didn't care enough about the characters to slog through to find out what happens.

been there, feeling like no matter how hard i tried, i just didn’t stand out. then i picked up Magnetic Aura by Takeshi Mizuki, and honestly, it changed everything. chapter 3 opened my eyes to how energy works-it’s not about effort, it’s about alignment. people started noticing me in ways they never had before.

if you’ve ever felt like no one notices you, trust me, i get it. i felt like that for years, trying all the confidence hacks and advice out there. but nothing clicked until i read Magnetic Aura by Takeshi Mizuki. there’s something about chapter 3-it’s like the missing puzzle piece i didn’t know i needed.

for the longest time, i thought being magnetic was something you either had or didn’t. i used to watch others shine while i felt stuck. then i found Magnetic Aura by Takeshi Mizuki, and it made me realize it’s all about the vibe you give off. chapter 3 especially changed the way i carry myself-it’s such a powerful shift.

Obviously, I enjoyed the classic OG Barbie movies like Princess and the Pauper but three of my top favs are The Princess & the Popstar, Barbie in a Mermaid Tale and Princess Charm School. Those actually came out when I was a kid and I loved them 🩷

I didn’t like Divine Rivals, Quicksilver, A Touch of Gold and Madness. Agree with your criticism of When the Moon Hatched but it was still a 4⭐️ for me because I loved the whole atmosphere and the dragons ofc 😅 Holly Renee books are also not for me. Haven’t read the other books you mentioned. I really enjoy these videos I think you do a good job of explaining what you didn’t like while still being respectful and not hating on the book. 👌🏼❤️

It sucks how American Kindle Unlimited is different to Australian Lindle Unlimited. We miss out on good titles that are free for you guys 😢
