Theres one detail you’ve overlooked about X-Men’s Quicksilver and getting his foot trapped. His time slowing abilities seem to be initiated by him running. He can slow, walk, and even stop within his time warp, but if he’s not running (or about to run), it doesn’t happen. Also, strength and durability aren’t synonymous. Beast punched the earth to break its hold because he’s strong enough to do that while QuickSilver isnt. Hes only durable enough that a hold that strong didn’t completely snap his ankle in two when it stopped him from moving so fast. If he was strong enough to break it, it wouldn’t have stopped him. I agree with every other point you made though 👏🏽

You make pretty good arguments but within the world of Comic heroes, you have to let logic and science go out the window with a lot of things. You can pretty much pick apart anyone's powers and talk about how it doesn't make sense with real world application. For instance; the amount of calories Wolverine would need to constantly be consuming in order to maintain his regeneration powers.

I wish it was just speedsters, in reality it's just every and any superhero/super powered character. I get it though, speedsters are an extreme case, and it was a solid video.

sonic (the non-archie versions) is a fairly well written speedster. he is fast, but needs to build up momentum (or boost, which is a finite enhancement), and at top speed is around mach 1, which is not so fast that he becomes untouchable. he does have quick reflexes and perception, but again not so quick that he can't get caught by something else moving fast enough to catch him (something like a bullet moving faster than mach 1 could potentially hurt him, or light based weapons like lasers)

The only way for a speedster to make sense is if they can only do it in short bursts with a cooldown

He got caught because Omni man not only has super speed himself(although not to the same degree) but super strength and durability. He got anticipated and countered the same way regular humans in comics can dodge bullets and other things faster than them. I can agree a lot of the times super speed characters are downplayed a lot but comic fans really dick ride speedsters as if it’s the only deciding factor

I agree with most of this list, and I 100% agree that Superman and Metroman would smoke Barry, however, I would not consider them to be speedsters, yes they have super speed, but they can also fly, have super strength, and other powers alongside those. I would personally consider a speedster to have super speed be their defining power, which is not the case for Superman and Metroman. Still, this was entertaining to watch. keep making good videos.

I just feel like you didn't pay attention to the show. Yes, Omniman could've taken out the guardians in a second, but Cecil would have known it was him immediately. Invincible would have turned against him which is exactly what Omniman wanted to avoid. The whole reason why everyone didn't see the truth immediately was because Omniman had also been hurt in the attack. Also, he wasn't "almost neutralized" by the reanimen. They didn't even make him bleed, they just slowed him down.

you guys dont understand how fast the flash is. only two people that could beat locked in barry is metro man and sponge bob. sponge breaks the forth wall and metro is basically invincible. superman is so much slower than the flash is stupid. flash beats all the mofos no prob. everyone except metro and sponge at easy wipe the floor easy.

According to the canon, Flash is clearly the fastest, but in terms of scene dynamics, Makkari was the best speedster in cinema.

I've always perceived omniman to basically be superman, but without the inherent weakness and a few other superpowers. Within that concept, we know that superman archetypes are fast because it's an inherent characteristic of their own super strength. Omniman is never shown being explicitly faster than the speedsters in that universe, but also, he doesn't have to be. It's always escalation of power that finally shows what superman or omniman are capable of. In the justice league, it's shown in a weirdly petty scene of superman doing more to save civilians than the flash, in Invincible, we glimpse a feat of his devastating speed when he destroys the Flaxan planet, but it's not even implied that this devastation is difficult for him to accomplish, in fact, the only cost to omniman is that he ages slightly during his time there, which, also explained in the show, means that he's grown even stronger, because viltrumites grow stronger with age. There are numerous instances in the show where viltrumites move exponentially faster than what is supposed to be perceived by the naked eye. Red rush is the fastest speedster in that universe, supposedly, but "supermen" always trump that. Unless they're limited by experience and don't know the extent of their powers.

I think most people miss the point of speedsters, yes they can run very fast but it's still them running at normal speed to them so they may not always want to be trapoed in a slow mo scene where everything is completely frozen or they dont have the emotions necessary to surpass their limits which are exponential

In terms of what we have seen it's definitely conor. Those movies had terrible choreography. And lore/statements aren't as valid as the things we actually see. And what we see is pretty bad

for someone with an infinity stone in the head, an ability to phase through stuff literally means he has 100% control over atoms that make him up, matter manipulation deduces that he can literally do what marvel bullshits the best: quantum physics, make him use those fancy ass quantum phenomenas (quantum entanglement), and that alone would help him overpower quite literally anyone. I just hate the way they maintain some crappy hierarchy, his abilities can literally make him not physically 'feel' anything or even be attacked by anything 'physical'. Magic still makes sense 'cuz it is largely undefined how it works, but literally nothing else should even be able to affect him let alone touch him, whilst simultaneously, he can attack on everyone. Very puny for someone who is literally a computing powerhouse. I can even suggest an implication for someone who has 100% control over an atomic system. He can instantly teleport if someone 'interacts' (measures) the state of his atoms (by attacking), which may lead him to teleport himself at a location that only he knows explicitly (in an unmeasured quantum state that is entangled to another, one can measure either's state and instantly deduce the state of the another, independent of the distance between them. This transcends the speed of light, but the event isn't causal and thus unmeaningful to transfer any meaningful information FTL, but since Vision knows his entire state all the time, he can easily utilise that)

Welcome to the world of comics where Captain America has ALWAYS punched above his weight. And besides, raw power is only aspect of combat. Cap makes up for his "weakness" with his combat skills and tactical mind which are second to none. But you have a point, Martian Manhunter SHOULD be the most powerful Justice League member (along with Flash) but they are CONSTANTLY nerfed...

Barry beats Metro man and superman simply because he can phase into them and kill them. Plain and simple. They may be invulnerable on the outside but nothing was said about their internal organs. So CW Barry beats them both

What many of these stories fail to realize is that speedsters need to be invincible since at the speed they are running, their bodies would burn, break, explode. Not one has even tackled the problem of how they are able to stop. Max speed means they need to have super strength to stop. If we're following Physics, speedsters who run so fast they can travel back in time would be impossible. And no one has even discussed how much energy they need to consume to break the speed of sound.

The underuse of the mind stone was a bit frustrating. Not sure what it does in the end this mind stone, but not much mind stuff.
