HSR was a big regression from Genshin that did its first four reruns without being concurrent banners, so players who narrowly missed launch day could actually still afford them from gameplay income and catch up with launch day players. Rerunning banners without rerunning the income that came with them makes them unaffordable, especially with the ZZZ polychrome economy where you can get almost enough from gameplay that topping it up is fine for one agent at a time but if you want more copies of an agent you have to spend hundreds. Unless ZZZ debuts a new mechanic to ease the cost of a rerun if a player's account is newer than the last time that agent was available, they're basically asking newer players to pay like a whale just to get rerun agents *at all*, which is so untenable those newer players will simply quit.

Unfortunately (of fortunately), there will be no re-run in 1.4 as zzz is planning to do a double banner run of Miyabi and Harumasa (as per last update from a credible leaker but do take it with a pinch of salt). And as per credible leaker's update, we may get a free copy of Harumasa after completing an event but again do take these info with a pinch of salt as all these are subject to changes.

sometimes hoyo does really skippable banners in one half (or a whole patch) and really temptong ones the next half. so i could see only one rerun in 1.4 during miyabi's banner (to make her sales just that bit better) with no rerun during harumasa's banner (if he's free like rumours say then there probably won't be a lot of people spending on him). we'll probably get to a point of double banners every half eventually but they might start out with a double banner one half and single the next half this is just me speculating it's not based on leaks or anything.

Mihoyo has already proven it can brutally violate my wallet by running 6!!!! waifus in one patch with star rail. God have mercy

I wanted to get lighter. When i saw asaba, i really liked his swords that turned into a bow. How cool is that? At the same time , i really like ellens combat. It's really fun to be able to run around so quickly. So i was like, i should wait for her to rerun and have her guaranteed. Right now, i only have enough poly for a 50/50, and you're telling me they are all coming back to back? I am f2p. How will i ever be happy😭

So can we please get one thing straight with all of this… lighter and Miyabi have NO synergy what so ever between then additional core passives… In recently leaks from the closed beta it’s been confirmed Miyabis requirements have been changed from needing an anomaly agent to needed a support agent… so burnice won’t work anymore to allow Lighter and Miyabi to synergize… Your left with your option being Lucy… sorry but lighter for most will be an easy skip if you plan on pulling and investing in Miyabi… only pull lighter if you really want him for personal reasons or have investment in Ellen or solider 11….😑

zhu yuan makes more sense if you think about how they like to release characters that work together back to back remember theres an ether ?anomaly? idol agent coming out soon

Great video and yes Waifu over Meta! I started playing this game cause of Ellen and do want ger M2 since i did get her sig as well. Though im gonna have to get Miyabi next time she comes but honestly i really do want Joyus and might just skip every other banner after Miyabi unless it's someone i really really need too fill missing slots.

imo there will be rerun but not 2 it'll be only 1 rerun near 2 new char so for 1.4 it'll be miyabi ellen and hayumasa and im all for Ellen saving up for her to make m6

I’m betting Miyabi’s “Ice” is a Fire+Ice combo and she’ll count as both and be buffed by both.

Delaying reruns untio 1.5 would be a dream for me as a f2p player. I want Ellen but Miyabi is #1 on my list.

I was considering Ellen's rerun when Yanagi's teaser made me want to build Soukaku, but Miyabi being Ice (2: Ice To Meet You?) Anomaly scuttled that. So I would be perfectly fine with reruns being delayed to the patch after Miyabi, but I also won't lose sleep over it if I end up needing to wait for Ellen's second rerun before I finally complete my Victoria Housekeeping Agent collection.

I started the game at launch but ended up quickly dropping it just cause at the time I couldn't keep up with it in addition to a few other games I was playing all at the same time. Picked it back up about a month ago now so I missed Ellen (best teammate for Lycaon who is the reason I was interested in the game to begin with) and Zhu Yuan (who I love as a character and also could use another ether agent). If that rerun hypothesis is true, I'm going to be in so much pain soon lol
