    #2 is such a big deal. There's so many buffs and debuffs that go around that it's hard to keep up specially with 0 visible indicators that certain buffs have been triggered, like with disks, for example

      The worst thing is I have no idea how long Rina's buff lasts. It just disappears. I feel like that's a bug.

      @@theunknownchampion9492 I said how long it lasts, not if it's active or not. Most buffs have a visible timer except for rina.

    #1 is a typical hoyo practice. Unless people stop playing their games, they will never implement permanent weapon gacha system. What sucks is that some of the free 4* w-engines are useless.

      This isn’t a Hoyo specific thing, all gacha games have different system. Some out there are far worse with there system and haven’t change, while others are better than Wuwa. So really this isn’t universal. It just what system work best for the game to survive with.

      not really a hoyo thing though. I know that most people dont care about Hi3rd, but that game also has 100% guarantee on weapon banner, the problem is that using anything but the character's signature weapon is going to be a massive difference in the character's performance. It's kind of the same case with wuwa, yes weapon banner is guaranteed but the 4* weapons are kind of garbage in comparison.

      I guess I misunderstood the video? I didn't think he was suggesting making the unique WE's permanent, just that when you get an S rank, it's guaranteed to be the limited WE. I don't expect them to do either, but I think making the WE a sure thing might actually bring more pulls on the limited WE banner as a lot of people skip it, and many outright suggest against even bothering pulling on it.

      Yeah the weapon banners are huge and notorious whale bait, that 75% likely accounts for a decent chunk of the game's margin
      The actual issue is that weapons in Genshin have real models and effects while they're just modifiers in HSR and ZZZ. Not worth it remotely in either game, you're almost always better off with a constellation

    As someone that lost 4 50 50s in a row, they should introduce the capturing radiance from Genshin into zzz on top of the guaranteed weapon banner.

      What exactly does capturing radiance do?, i don't play Genshin and i never understood what it does, all i know is that it affects your 50/50

      @SmashTheAdam It prevents you from losing consecutive 50-50s in a row.
      If you lose twice in a row, it turns the third "50-50" into 75-25.
      And if you somehow lose three in a row, it guarantees that the next two 5* will be the banner characters.

      @@pandan__ Ohhh i see, i already lost twice, first on Jane's banner, then I got Burnice, then lost again on Yanagi's banner, so if that feature was available, my next 50/50 would become 75/25 right?, and if i lost AGAIN my next two pulls are guaranteed, that's pretty useful in the long run, but i don't really see them putting it in ZZZ or HSR unfortunately, not impossible though

      @@SmashTheAdam if you lost on Jane and Burnice, then Yanagi would be 75 25. If you lost on Yanagi, the next two will be guaranteed.
      To make it a bit easier to understand, it would go like this;
      L>G, L>G, L>G>G.
      L representing loss and G representing guaranteed.
      If you win any of your 50 50s it resets this pattern.
      I hope they add it sooner rather than later, probably during the 4th anniversary.

    I am sure they could add indicators for buffs and then add in a toggle to just turn the bubbles off if you didn't want to clutter your display.

      @AverageLuckGamer this would be great because when you are learning a character or a team you want to be confident you're getting the rotation/buffs correct. Then once you know what you're doing you could turn it off for a better visual presentation. This would be awesome

    Personally i wish that they will make more so-called "dates" with old characters. It will always be interesting to know something new about character or just have a good time with them.

    I can attest as someone who lost on Yanagis weapon, it fucking sucks. Besides the usufelness characters vs engines, another thing that sucks of pulling on the W-engine banner is that the probability of getting extra tapes is way lower. If you have M6 A-ranks you get the equivalent of an extra tape everytime you pull it again, this does not happen with the W-engines and im currently drowning on Billys and Anbys w-engines with fuck all to do with them .

      Sucks that you lost the 75. It should be 100% honestly. They'll never do that though unfortunately. Unless you spend, I really would never ever recommend pulling weapon banners in any of the Hoyo games. It's always a scam, the free options are always more than enough, and you don't risk your pity.

      I lost the 75/25 on her engine banner too. I got Koleda stunner engine instead, which I'm using with Anby as it's the best engine for her, but... I'd rather have my Yanagi doing more damage. Not to mention that I got it with about 15 pulls away from hard pity.

    Other things they could do to improve w-engine gacha:
    -introducing a w-engine-banner-specific pull currency, and perhaps giving a healthy amount as a reward for Trust Levels or mindscapes
    -adding the “300-pull guaranteed choice of S-rank” feature from the standard banner to the W-engine banner, perhaps with a lower requirement
    -instead of a 100% chance at 80 pity, keeping the 75/25 but reducing the pity to 40 or 50. That would value the W-engine copies much less than a S-rank copy.

      It would be great to have a system like that especially because it favors the player, but i can already see why they wouldn't do it.
      Looking at WuWa everyone by now has a 5* Weapon for each type and it's great, but also 4* are way less useful because of that. Also Hoyo never heavily favors the player over revenue in their decisions so this change feels like a nice dream only.

      I think it would be good for the 300 pull S-rank to apply on the exclusive banner (it wouldn't include exclusive S rank), but maybe they just raise the total as an offset.

      bangboo tokens renamed and repurposed to [something-something mechanical] and being used for the bangboo and engine rolls. So you choose not between character and a bonus but between one bonus and the other bonus.

    I would like the map too. I think ZZZ has a very cool world, but it needs to be fleshed out more. The hollows, the Outer Rim, New Eridu, Old Eridu... it really paints a neat picture. It would be cool to see how it all fits together. I mean if we're going to be drip-fed story beats, you might as well put it on the "big board" for us to see it all filling in slowly. Then you can take a big step back and sort of appreciate how far you've come.
    - By way of contrast: in fantasy books like the Inheritance Cycle or a Song of Ice and Fire, I would constantly refer to the map to place houses, events, characters and factions, and it really helped me understand the story better. Even in Genshin, I like remembering areas by where they are, not just what they are (it's not just a mountain, it's Dragon Spine, nestled between Mondstadt and Liyue and the sea, where I did X, Y and Z then flew from the Sky Frost Nail all the way to Mondstadt City).
    ZZZ is very visually appealing - the animation style is really good/vibrant and New Eridu feels like a living place... the map is that little push it needs to be complete (and make fast travel easier).

    Omg yes on the Persona-like map screen. It’s pretty much what the devs tried emulating anyway with it, like with the time system. They should totally make the map like P5.

      My guess is that that'll be addressed somewhere between 1.5 and 2.0
      They're still scrambling to fix pretty core gameplay stuff, a fast travel map is likely waiting until they've put out all the various fires like TV mode and whatnot

    Regarding the map, have you noticed the background of the selection is a map of New Eridu? I feel at some point having the map locations was intended to be there, but maybe it was scrapped at some point because it needs to fit in the tiny screen of a phone game.
    But I agree with you. Having a map of New Eridu to move around would help the feeling of immersion.
    Something similar happens with the HDD. I've seen screenshots of the beta where instead of Story, Combat, Investigation appearing in bubbles, they had the Hollow Zero, the Lemnian Hollow and the Cretan Hollow right there on the map. It was super cool to see. And when you have a mission you can say "oh, this mission takes place in the Lemnian Hollow, that's next to Lumina Square."
    I understand the need to make it simpler for casual players, but I wish it was more an option. We have so many locations now that scrolling through it's a pain.

    Another change that needs to happen: The cash shop. The prices for Monochrome are way too high for how little you get and how awful the pull rates are. $15 for enough Poly for five pulls. $15 FOR FIVE PULLS! That is a lot of money for how little value you get! In any other gacha, $15 would get you enough for two 10 pulls. At mininum you gotta spend $5 just to have enough for a single pull, not even two pulls. This isn’t even factoring in how awful the S Rank rates are that you’ll have reach the soft pity range which the $100 purchase doesn’t even cover! That’s over 12,000 poly you gotta spend for a single S Rank and even the $100 Monochrome package isn’t enough to cover that!
    If you have to spend that much to get a single character, at that point just give me the limited character. It should not cost more than a brand new AAA console game just for a single character. Either increase the rates, lower the prices, or make the bonus Monochrome from first time purchases just part of the base amount

      This is the trend i have noticed in other japanese/gatcha games too, even those not from this genre, like yugioh. Maybe it is that whales can spend a very very high amount if you ask them so these companies don't bother to make non paying players pay a bit as whales would have to pay lesser too. Surely this must be backed by some research, otherwise fewer companies would be trying this

      Dont pay everyone knows only WHALES ACTUALLY use the monochrome system.
      You the monthly pass if your a low spender and thats 16 pulls every month added on.
      The value is far better than anything for 5 dollars plus tax.
      Obviously this doesnt justify it but its only for whales a average player should ever spend actual money on it and if you do just go for the 100 dollar double for the first purchase cause the value is inherently trash the lower you spend

      Hoyo won't change their gacha system, it's something people complain about for years, they won't add characters to the permanent pool, prices aren't going down.
      Changes will only happen when a new company does everything people are asking for and also become the most profitable game. Unfortunately it's a business and unless more money is involved they won't do anything.

      ​@@kyokusanagi9800this 100%, this is known as the "Genshin" model for a good reason. It made the most revenue, it captured the highest player base, and most importantly it keep sustainability. Until a game cause as large of a ripple in the Gaming sphere (and even just the mainstream sphere in general), then NOTHING is going to change. Period. It's the hardest pill to swallow, but people just need to be more conscious and responsible with their free pulls and spending if they're truly unhappy with the current systems. Not just just with Hoyo game, but any game copying the Genshin model.

      Something to note about Genshin is it came out during the height of the COVID pandemic, and the majority of the playerbase are in China. Notice Honkai and Zenless do not do the numbers Genshin does and a lot of Genshin's revenue has gone down, to the point they're now starting to implement changes people wanted for years, LIKE GIVING US A FREE STANDARD BANNER 5 STAR DURING THE ANNIVERSARY LIKE OTHER GAMES HAVE DONE FOR YEARS!

    Weapon banner not being guaranteed is such a bad feeling and needs to change. Maybe a smaller change they could make: Make it 75/25 until you hit hard pity but hard pity is 100%. That would mean for example if you get a standard S-Rank weapon at 20 pulls, your pity counter doesn't reset and your next weapon is guaranteed the limited one. Or you hit hard pity but it's guaranteed the limited one. So actually getting the wrong S-Rank weapon might even feel "good".

    The map thing would be really cool for "Lore and Story" purposes. I'd love to see where everything is respectably in the world. Something I'd like to see, as it's personally kinda hard for me to level up agents. Is Agents getting XP from you just doing stuff, like if I run the H.I.A for 10ish runs using Jane, Caesar, Burnice. It'd be nice to see them level up 2 or 3x from doing so. And having the XP bricks (Can't remember what they are called.) As a way to "Speed Up" leveling up an Agent. (My Jane has been Level 55 for like a month now.)

    Having been playing FFXIV for years, where all buffs are always visible on screen, and you can divide them in a few categories, and place those anywhere you want on your screen and at whatever size you want, ZZZ's somewhat arbitrary displays of buffs has been slightly off-putting! Why do some buffs have icons, but others are invisible? Why is the Ceasar's shield buff the only one visible next to the character? I really wish they were at least some settings for this, like for making the currently invisible buffs visible, and for putting them all close to the on-field agent and at various possible sizes.

    Weapon gacha should for sure be 100% if, say per chance, they released a unit whose ftp options completely tanked in comparison to their signature. Like, not a 30% gap, like their ftp options are bordlerine unusable.

      As someone who lost 75/25 (finally bought it), her kit feels night and day different.
      Like I more then doubled my dmg to Niv and was able empty 3 HP bars.

    Heyyy! A ZZZ AND Persona fan!!! Right on!
    I actually got into Hoyoverse because HSR is kinda similar to Persona I guess. I thought I’d love it. I do enjoy it a lot and will keep playing, but I actually prefer ZZZ now funny enough. I prefer the music, characters, and surprisingly even the gameplay.

    fun fact: The only 50/50 or 75/25 I've lost in my near 7 months of playing hoyo games (started with star rail) was losing Zhu Yuan's engine. Which is really funny that I lost an engine pull before my far more numerous limited character pulls
    Edit: oh I absolutely agree with the fast travel complaint. I takes way too long to warp to Lumina Square and the HIA.
    Star rail has a similar issue with a separate menu to change which planet map you're looking at

    The map thing is a great point, though I wonder if they would be able to do it to accommodate the cool graphics they make for each new location. Like NEPS is technically in Lumina Square, so they'd probably put it under that location in a map, but I do kinda like that we get the NEPS seal or more recently the HAND HQ. These are also neat details that add to the world. If they switched to the more streamlined map similar to Persona 5, I wonder if we'd lose that, but perhaps it would be worth it. I have found myself getting lost in the quick travel menu as of late. For some reason, the SCOTT Outpost got moved or something and it's not where I expect it to be. Also, they have quick travel to the metro station, which I think has only been used a handful of times.
    Also, it would be nice to add a feature to guarantee or somehow increase the likelihood of specific substats on a drive disc. I've been working on getting my two-set ready for when I pull Miyabi and it feels bad having to get rid of discs just because crit didn't get rolled. Also, would like to be able to sort discs based on their type (Chaos Jazz, Woodpecker Electro, etc.)

    Pulling for weapons makes absolutely no sense to me when I can clear end game content without it, even when I don't match the enemy weaknesses. Same for character cinemas, they make combat a little more convenient, which is why it's good to do it for your A Ranks, but to purposely pull for extra copies of limited characters is just whale behavior, I don't need it.

    I play a lot of rogue-like dungeon crawlers, and those games always implement some type of indicator for buffs or debuffs your character currently has. I would love to see more underneath the health bar in this game.

    That last thing is a holdover from their other games. It looks useless until like 2 years in when they drop a interesting character mechanic that utilizes it. I wish Hoyo would experiment with more elemental swap, absorption, or multi elemental mechanics - thus giving the off set bonus value.

    They're definitely going to have to improve the map system, hopefully sooner rather than later. Every update that they add a new location makes swiping around that menu a little bit more cumbersome.

    I may drop ZZZ and go back too PGR, the gatcha system for PGR is just so much better and new characters are rotated on another banner (usually 3 characters 70% for the one you choose). If ZZZ either gave more polychrome or made it more reliable to get things id be much less inclined to leave

    Or you could compare it to normal gachas, not Wuwa. In normal gachas you get all the weapons through gameplay.
    Not through the gacha system, which also forces you to use a separate material for Pulls

    the change that they should add is a free camera mode for us to *respectfully* observe our characters walking in New Eridu since 1.4 will allow every character to walk around the city

    My biggest issue with hoyo games is the fomo they put in character banners, they should be added to generel pool after a few months but for both genshin and honkai they just never do, so the normal banner becomes worthless overtime, not a single general s rank from star rail can compete in it's current power creep. I really want them to change this for zzz because they have a clever system for making old units better over time, as you get dupes of characters they get quite a lot stronger, so like if they ever add ellen to the general pool then even when she gets power crept a 6 dupe ellen will still be viable.

    Problem #2 has been my main criticism about the game since I started using disks. It's so inconvenient that you cannot see an aspect of the game that is, might I say, critical to how you play around your squad. Hormone Punk is prolly the most affected by the lack of buff/debuff indicators. Setting aside the awful uptime of Hormone Punk, the fact that you have near-zero control on activating its effects while also having zero knowledge of when it's on and when it isn't is just plain nonsense

    #3 While I understand some people might have a problem with scrolling and prefer map-like layout of locations, personally I prefer just looking at icons lined up, each with a different style, than trying to remember locations' names, like in P5, I couldn't remember, whether the specific shop was in Shibuya or Kanda.

    for #3, I have found myself more and more using the errands popup menu to navigate to Hollow Zero or HIA or Shiyu, because scrolling through that list on the fast travel has gotten harder. I still run into the issue though, because I usually try to log off at the video store, and I confuse the video store and sixth street icons a lot x.x

    The third part about the fast travel system is so true.
    With the last update, I started getting very frustrated with it without being able to pinpoint exactly what was going on...
    Definitely gonna put in the next feedback survey.
    My biggest personal problem with the game is the lack of an hook for agent stories though. They feel so disconnected to the rest of the game...

    Adding a #4 please remove the day night interruptions when I'm trying to farm! 3 farm cycles and the let's do it again button disappears. Do your 4th farm and the game breaks you out to basically tell you it's a new day thanks game can i go back to playing now? It's so annoying. It also breaks the go back to upgrading shortcut as well since it pulls you out of the menu.

      @@prxmantis I think he's talking about "immersive mode" top right of the UI in the HIA menu I've never used it cause a tutorial popped up about it, I said, "shut up" and then haven't thought about using it sense but I think that's what it's for

    they should have the buffs for your characters in the lower middle of the screen (alongside any character specific bars like Seth's resolve or Jane's Passion) and debuffs/anomaly duration alongside the enemies' on-field health bar, not just the one on the hud.

I’ve literally submitted a ticket for getting those Disk and WEngine buffs to appear on the “Effect Details” screen cause it reallllly feels like they should be there even though they aren’t. It didn’t go anywhere but it’s so hard to tell when most buffs have been applied because they don’t appear anywhere

    I definitely agree with you when it comes to the map. We're only in 1.3 and the map already feels cluttered and easy to miss what you're looking for. I don't wanna imagine the amount of the tabs we'll have to scroll through by like 2.0

    To preface, ZZZ's the first gacha I've played and I'm still learning how they work in the background (like W-Engines being 75/25 instead of 50/50).
    W-Engines:
    I wonder if the non-guarantee is there to allow the A-Rank W-Engines have a purpose beyond being a stop-gap for S-Rank ones. While A-Rank Agents' performance can vary for their signature, S-Rank Agents tend to gain tailored benefits to their kit from their signature. Making them a guarantee might potentially reduce how potent they can be if you're always gonna get one when you get an S-Rank...so it's easier to max one out and reap the benefits.
    Buff Visibility
    YES YES YES HOLY MOLY YES.
    Fire Suppression charges, Fanged Metal 4pc, Anby's M6, even Anton's "Red Drill" W-Engine buff need to have some kind of UI indicator to keep track of them better. It's hard enough telling if they're active in-game with all the numbers being thrown around and enemies being tough, so an indicator that you *are indeed* hitting harder would be nice. And while I know S11's sword glows red/orange while she has charges...I'd still appreciate the UI element.
    Map
    A drop-down with locations would also be helpful, but I'm not sure how well it'd work on mobile. Thankfully, we can teleport to places like HIA or Scott Outpost using the Errands or after getting coffee, so...small stop-gap? Not an area I've had enough of a gripe with, but I can see how it'd get cumbersome after a while.

    1. W-engine hard pity (80 pulls) should guarantee the banner's 100% of the time; but if you get any S pulls before that, keep the 75-25, or bring it down to 60-40 to "even it out."
    2. I agree with the buff visibility so much! I didn't even know how to check for Rina's PR buff until someone pointed it out. I wish they'd make the icons under the health bar twice larger, at least, as they did with the anomaly indicator.
    3. For fast travel, if they plan to stick with the sliding layout as it is now, I'd like there to be a favourites bar or be able to pin locations. It'd make getting through my daily -chores- tasks a whole lot easier.

    The expected number of pulls for a limited character is close to 95 (93.75)... for engine it is 62.5... the engine is 2/3 of a character. They could adjust for a garantee in 80 pulls and adjust the probability per pulls to maintain the same expected value... but in the end you would be spending the same thing in average

    #2: The other thing that gets me with this is when you have debuffs for enemies, you can only see indicators for debuffs like Nicole's DEF reduction if you're fighting a big boss. If you're fighting anything lower rank, you don't see any indicators at all and just kinda have to guess/go on feel. It would be nice to have some indication for enemies other than big bosses.

    You make some good points about the map system, but I find the way it currently is much easier to remember when I'm trying to locate a specific store.
    The Persona map would definitely give it a sense of place, though, so I feel you there. Might be willing to go with that map style if it gives us a better idea how everything fits in New Eridu.

    We need more enemies for the VR training. The way it should work is that you unlock an enemy to be fought after fighting it once in the game. I bought this up early on in the games life and was told by multiple people that it "makes sense that there aren't more because HIA probably doesn't know about the enemy type yet." That excuse didn't make sense before, and makes even less sense now that the Battle Tower exists and features every single enemy in the game afaik (aside from Nineveh and her tantacles and hornets).

    What I'd do is, when it comes to banner characters, when you pull said banner character, the first wengine for said character should be free all together. Yes, I know that's "losing money", but think about it, you're guaranteed 1 wengine that goes with the banner character you just pulled, so now you have more of an incentive to max it out, which means even more reason to buy banner wengines to get 5 more to max out the stars on it.

    1#Honestly when you dont pull weapon or win most of your 50/50, you just forgot there's was chance for you to not get the right one and its terrifying to realize i could've lost and not get both Yanagi and her W-Engine at that moment. Awful 75/25 asides, when it comes to gacha , i wish Hoyo will MAINLY do something with their permanent banner because i really think they sucks . The number of pulls you get for this banner is horrendous, the 300 pulls system takes almost year to hit if you do it slow, without pulling with your own ressources. And after a while, some of those 5* permanent starts falling behind and it WOULD be really nice if i could get some dupes to make them better BUT by NOT losing my 50/50 on the limited banner. Just give me a daily free pull or 10 of each when new patches drop i dunno
    #2 Buffs dispaly is really odd in this game. Even by pausing to see in details, some of my buff dosen't show up or didn't stack up properly.
    #3 I see where you going with the Persona map , might be a really good long term option + immersion , but a quick fix would to just get rid off of the horizontal display and just go for 3 vertical lign with everything accessible without scrolling or moving anything

    I would really like for them to keep providing the sig engine for limited character after banner has passed, that way you don't have to wait for a re run just to get the engine. They could earn on it as well the longer you keep someone from the item, more time they get to save.

    4th problem: For average gamer who doesn't have the 6+ hours a day to play and become an expert, some of the game modes are painfully hard. These make them lose the interest in the game since they can't clear the content.

    All of these suggestions are great. I'd love to see a map for lore reasons. Anything that brings the world to life is awesome.
    Why do we need to walk around as agents, though? Never understood that. It takes away a bit from being excited to see them in the world when you can just switch to them, and, for instance, being able to see Anby in world while being Anby is really weird.

    I’ve heard other ZZZ tubers just critique but sound like they hate the game instead of looking for improvements.
    Love your tone and approach to this. Hopefully the devs listen. And I wish Endless tower gave us polychromes or worthwhile rewards at higher floors.

    Regarding Point 2, it seemed kinda odd that Wengines are not actually visible on your character. Maybe having them float or hover around you like a Nier Automata pod whenever their effect is active?

    I think they might not implement some form of map or visual of the city because the devs would then have to keep track of all these locations, as well as hollows, which could potentially make it more difficult to add locations for factions and stories.
    Don't get me wrong, I would LOVE to see how the city actually looks in it's entirety but I can see why they might not implement something like that.
    Also, I definitely agree with the buffs. I swear I can never tell if half of my buffs are actually being applied due to their short duration so some icon to confirm I'm actually applying them successfully would be so helpful.

    For me the biggest thing they could do to improve low-spent players experience would be to increase the amount of A rank agents in the game. The limited banner rotates 2 different A ranks per banner, but by now we've seen most A ranks run at least once or twice in their banner so most players who pull regularly have all A ranks at C6 and those pulls are essentially just going to refund themselves. On top of that the low quantity of A ranks makes it really hard to make viable teams before you get your break in that one or two good S rank operators. I got started with Rina on my guaranteed pull, and lost my first 50/50 limited (for jane) and got another Rina. This left my early teambuilding very limited because most A-ranks can't form very synergetic teams by themselves. Release of Seth as an A-rank immediately improved my teams by good amount since Rina-Piper-Seth was at least somewhat good team.

    I've always looked at weapons as a luxury. HSR is the only game where I have felt like characters can be completely changed via a lightcone. I personally wouldn't object to guarenteed weapon, but I am assuming they would make changes to the amount of pulls they give us, or consider a new currency to make people think more about pulling for a weapon like they do in Wuthering Waves.
    I save and plan my pulls well in advance. I have worst, average, and best case scenarios set up and I plan a budget for the character well ahead of time. Miyabi for example, is a character I could already gaurentee, and her weapon would likely depend on 75/25 but by the time she comes out I should be able to guarantee her weapon as well. I don't mind playing like this, but I know some people would like to just pull everything, and that's a risky mindset for a gacha player.

    Let me give you a deliciously simply Gacha solution. For the duration of that banner, allow the purchase of both the banner and its weapon. You can still consider a few limiting options like only one copy of each or you can only buy the weapon if you pulled a copy of the character. Just add them to the same menu you can currently buy a monthly copy of a standard banner wep and use the same currency. As an option you could buff the amount of currency needed to help fine tune the system.

    Genshin impact actually changed their weapon banner. It’s now almost the exact same as ZZZ and HSR. Genshin is however slightly different, Genshin still has 2 different weapons on each banner but you can path to the one you want so it’s basically the same. Also if you win the 75/25 and get the other weapon you still get the point towards the weapon you want, if you are lucky you can get both limited weapons.

    I world like to remind all hoyo glazers to take a look at the pity system for e7 - I'll concede that e7 has issues with certain banners, but I think being able to guarantee just about every new/ limited unit is good for the game (moonlights excluded)

    Good set of mentions overall. I'm okay with most buff uptime, Lucy's Cheer On! already has an indicator for instance. It'd be nice to see how long Radiant Aegis has left though.
    The "map" frustrates me. Not only is it a linear list of icons, but there's no order to it. Why are both HIA and NEPS separate from Lumina City when they're parts of Lumina City and accessed from it? It can't be because Lumina City is a story area (like Sixth Street, the construction site and Victoria Twins), because Blazewood is a story area and that's even further away! There's no rhyme or reason to any of it.
    The gacha... 100% on the wengines would be nice. It's good that gacha games as a whole are trending towards competing on having less exposure to catastrophic bad luck. The guarantee by the second pull is a huge gain over most gachas of 3+ years ago where you could lose the 50/50 (or even 33/33/33) 8+ times running and any one banner could bankrupt months of in-game savings without even getting the character. Hopefully those dark days never return!
    One thing I *really* hope that joins that trend in the future is catch-up mechanisms for newer accounts. As things stand, anyone that started late is *screwed* when reruns happen because the banners are rerunning without the income that was available in their previous outing/s. It's not good enough to tell someone who started even in August "You can get Ellen now!" if they have to sacrifice Miyabi to get her! They'll just be bitter about needing to wait for a Miyabi rerun instead. The polychrome prices as they are basically only cater to day one players and screw over everyone else when it comes to reruns.
    I doubt ZZZ will pioneer this kind of catch-up mechanic - in particular, when an agent reruns, giving a boost on their banner/s to any account made after the agent was last available such as skipping the first 50/50 or lowering the soft pity until the agent is owned - but I can see gachas in the future moving towards that and it would be a seriously impressive surprise if ZZZ steps up to be the game that introduced it.

    #1 - I would take it one step further: make the weapon banner a selector, in which you select which weapon you want to pull between the on banner and the standard ones. That way I can roll on a banner I'm not interested into in order to get 4* copies, or the standard 5* I need to augment my standard 5* characters I'm bound to have

    My suggestion is for ZZZ to do more with the new permanent features they introduce; specifically that combat seminar thing they had in the HIA. You know, the one where you assign an agent for training, and they get experience over time?
    That was hella useful; I was able to get most of my agents above Lv 50 with it. Now it's all used up and just useless.
    Why not have it refresh every month? If they don't want players using that instead of grinding for level up materials, then reduce the experience amount it gives. Just make it do something, anything!

    Here's another idea for wengine banner - if you don't possess any copy of featured wengine the chances for getting it rise to 100% then if you have at least one copy it goes back to 75/25 as for guarantee after losing 75/25 you would keep it if the wengine you pulled is your first copy of that engine
    Similiar could be done to characte banner but instead of 100% for first copy u have 75/25 and after that if you want mindscapes it goes back to 50/50 as for guarantee after losing I have no idea how it would work(im too lazy to think)

    you get 15% a rank chance on weapon banner as opposed to only 6% on wuwa. this gives you 250% of the pull cashback currency. you also have a 1% chance as opposed to a 0.8% chance of getting the s rank. if you do the math its pretty equitable between the two games.

    #1 yes, i do want the weapon to be guaranteed and it would be nice, but if it's similar to wuwa where 4* weapons/craftable power is way weaker than 5* signature, i personally don't want that. if it's the current ZZZ weapon lineup and just make the 5* a guarantee? hey it's a win for the players who wouldn't want that i'd love it. #2 and #3 is a really good point especially if we get a map like persona it kinda adds into that sense of space in ZZZ making it more immersive.

    Even terrible is losing the 50/50 and then losing again 75/25 to get the weapon :( happened to me when trying to get Caesar. I really like the caracter so at the time didn't bother me as much but now I'm traumatized. How I'm gonna supose to even talk this with my therapist ? like where I even begin to explain

    I'd love for the gacha system on S ranks to do characters and weapons you haven't gotten yet over duplicates and mindscapes. For some godforsaken reason, all I get on the stable pulls is either Soldier 11 or more commonly her W-Engine. I still don't have Grace or Koleda. Why am I getting 11 constantly?

    #1 is kinda misleading, hoyo did improve the weapon banner from star rail. The base chance to get a 5* w-engine is higher per pull, meaning you are noticeably more likely to get an early w-engine than you would an an early lightcone despite the pity system being the same.

    I would say the character select is a significantly bigger problem than the map at the moment. It's a pain to navigate with the limited roster as it is and it's only going to become worse as the cast gets more fleshed out.

    For point 1, I agree that the weapon banner should be better, but I actually like the chance of 75/25, mainly because it makes it easier to get weapons for standard characters without having to save up 600 signals (I think they're called) or pull on standard, I also just find fun in the gamble, I'd fix it by lowering when you get the S rank instead, like instead of 80 pulls it's 70 pulls or 60 pulls. Points 2 and 3 I 100 percent agree with tho, especially point 2.

    I can't see the Gacha system being fixed because I'm jaded and any risk of 'less money' is just.... not happening.
    I have been very much interested in knowing when some of my buffs are active. Seeing a little spark or effect or something would just be fun. I remember getting that one Geo set in Genshin that pops a number over your head and freaking out cuz it was so dang NICE.
    I knew the single file line of buttons would be a problem, but didn't think it'd get so bad this fast. They need to AT LEAST double up on the rows already. Or let players pick how they're arranged and how many rows like organizing a 3DS home menu.

    Js 30 mins i was playing wuwa n got camyllia and her weapon as a guaranteed weapon i thought its another 75/25 , i was surprised it was a 100%, so i thought of the same thing abt zzz weapon banner system, they do need to change that n make it fair! Great vid

    Map of ZZZ could be better. However, as far as relic and material farming goes, you really only need to open up the Guidebook and select the relevant domain you want to farm, so this becomes sort of a non-issue unless you're trying to farm trust events.

    Regarding the weapons the drop rate for a s rank wengine is 1.00% c which is an improvement compared to start rail and genshin. And If you combine that with the 75.25 .On average its always way cheaper to go for a wengine rather than a character or a mindcape.

    1. If Hoyo gave that guaranteed 80, I feel like more people would be inclined to spend if they're close, but not quite there to 80. Get the card out for a double up.
    2. Having more UI elements under the team icons wouldn't be too cluttered IMO. The existing ones are so small, and they'd allow more transparency without having to interrupt the flow state, the best thing about ZZZ, to check for numbers.

    how about letting players toggle the display of specific buffs on/off in the pause menu.
    if I feel like I don't need to see a certain buff indicator during gameplay because I don't struggle with keeping it up or it's just not meaningful, I may want to keep it hidden to prevent clutter.

    For the engine change it’s obviously a no brainer but we should realistically know that no engine is required for a character.
    And engines inherently set you back on getting characters.
    Speaking as someones whos lost 50/50s and 75/25s .
    It would be nice if weapons were assured but they’re not necessary.
    Also from star rail they will generally create 4 star variants of 5 star light cones.
    That close gaps on the sig.
    So a character like Caesar may have a weapon that has impact scaling. In the future they might create a defense weapon that gives impact

    I think another problem with the Gacha that people just put up with is how insanely boring the non-4 and non-5 star pulls are. Stuffing your inventory with junk w-engines is not fun nor interesting. While I know you can junk them for w-engine xp, it's still just demoralising and I think it's pretty telling that parodies of Hoyo gachas just show literal poop for 3 star pulls :P
    I miss things like Dragalia lost where I got elder water for 3 star dupes which could be used as character advancement material OR currency for the wyrmprint shop (cards are kind of like ZZZ disc sets, except you only need 1 to get the full effect and you can equip 2 of them) so there was some choice to it. Likewise, in AFK arena you could smash lower level dupes of characters together to help you uncap existing characters as long as they were the same faction.

    Yeah, it would be nice to see some of these, the W-Engine one especially, because as a free to play player (rn anyways, I’ve got plans for a certain character later down the line), I want to get some of the weapons, like Yanagi’s for example, but I just don’t have the pulls for it, especially sense I’m trying to save for (possibly) Lighter and Miyabi. Maybe they can make it so that it’s a guarantee the first time you get an S, and slowly decrease the chance the more you pull for duplicates.
    Also, I may or may not have watched the intro like 3-5 times, I was just trying to see what the other videos were on there, totally 😅
