a couple of things that weren’t mentioned in the secret modes: the labyrinth: when legs is enraged, he cuts your flashlight, and he distorts your orientation by tilting the maze when he catches you twice (the “enraged” system in most of the modes works on a 3-life system, also) shudder mode: when legs is enraged, he rarely takes a direct path to you to kill you, often taking hallways you’re not looking at.

No I totally agree about star fox 64 placement. It's great yes but once you go through the routes get medals expert mode ECT it gets repetitive. Other than graphics it's basically star fox 1 and 2 combined. Thank you for giving adventures and assault the respect they deserve. My debate has been no one trashes botw or totk for being different or taking other games (Minecraft and witcher) and adding them into Zelda so why hate adventures and assault for putting Zelda golden eye aspects into star fox but praise Zelda for taking witcher and Minecraft aspects into Zelda.

This project was doomed from the start, Super Metroid isn't like Metroid 2. The vanilla game is already close to perfect and hasn't aged a day since its release. It has an incredibly rich community supporting it with infinite content with various randomizers, romhacks, QOL changes etc. FSMR is simply a game that was never needed.

The idea of denying Hyper Sonic because they want to avoid power creep is stupid when they just add things like Cyber Corrupted Super Sonic anyway. Frontiers set up the fact that the Chaos Emeralds are from another planet, but the Master Emerald is from Mobius. So a game that dives into the effects of the Master Emerald on these alien super stones would make sense moving forward anyway.

Sonic 4 on the sega saturn wouldve been INCREDIBLE. The saturn is a monster when it comes to 2d graphics and they couldve went absolutely hog wild with it. That project being cancelled for nothing was legit tragic, one of the worst decisions they made

I think Nintendo needs to move away from the BOTW/TOTK playstyle and go back to a more typical game. As good as they are, I’d rather live the story than be told the story out of order through flashback memories. And the next series of games should delve into the great calamity and we play as this ancient hero. The first one being a game on who he was before. Building a story for him. The second game should be us playing up to the calamity. Building our strength and skills as well turn into this hero. And the last game should be us fighting the calamity and the aftermath of it. Could even do further games that take place in the 10k years between.

Considering right now there's a dev trying to demake Super Mario 64 for the GBA, I gotta think porting Starfox 2 to the GBA couldnt be any more difficult, given we have StarFox 2 made, it just needs to be ported.

Hold R and Z to cancel the lock on feature. That’s how people get higher scores. Combo this with making more enemies appear by flying through arches. You can also do this in Zero. In Zero hold the L button and it’ll cancel your lock on and you can freely shoot charge shots and it’s faster, too.

Something worth noting about the "the maze is alive" theory, is that in the old maze (harder classic mode) if you get into a chase scene 2 or more times, the maze starts twisting and turning, making it so you have to pretty much run up or down insted of turning side to side. This implies that legs has so much power that he can turn the entire map and turn your flashlight off to catch up to you.

Fun fact: I was born the day, Sonic Underground's last episode aired ... It's actually really upsetting for me, because I actually really like this cartoon
