A2B via Sea, on TV
Добавлен 18 апр 2021
Juggling my day job & my true passion of ferry travel, I've adopted a solo nomadic lifestyle; touring Europe promoting ferry travel to tourists around the world as THE way to get from A2B when visiting our beautiful & diverse continent.
From Norway to Tanger & the Canaries to Italy, I can be found sporting my trademark mohawk & Viking beard making vlogs of my travel adventures.
No luggage restrictions, excellent facilities, great value for money and beautiful vistas guaranteed, why travel from A2B any other way?!

Such a valuable historic record. I sailed from Portsmouth to le Harve I think in summer 1989 or 1990 on her sister, Pride of Le Harve (ex Viking Valiant), which had just had a lovely refit, probably coinciding with her renaming. I recall that narrow staircase to the upper seating area, which had rather snazzy lights on each step during night crossings. Sad that they have all gone. Thank you for your work, looking forward to more historic interiors!

Thank you for this great piece of historic record. Just like your video for the last sailing of the late, great, Pride of Dover - which is now a valuable memento of one of the greats of the Dover strait. Amazing to see just how well looked after this vessel was in comparison to the similarly aged Prides at the end of their P&O careers. BF do a great job. Many thanks for this. I last sailed aboard her as the new Prins Filip in 1993 or 94 on the Ostend Dover Line. I was on the very last sailing back to Saint Malo. It was very emotional and I shed a few tears. I sailed on her maiden season to Santander as a 10 year old boy and have sailed on her more times than I can remember. I will dearly miss this ship and Normandie who's departing in the spring. Hi thanks for watching! She will be missed
Went on the Bretagne when I was a kid loads of times when she was the flagship of the company , was so modern back then , old and tired now , still has more character and atmosphere than any of the generic E-Flexers . They had a club (The Matalots ) and they let kids up onto the bridge to meet the crew , most people wouldn’t even know that , times have changed and the good times are long gone …., great memories on this ship and the Normandie which will also be sold soon , shame but it’s all a cash cow now with bigger ships needed to make more and more cash …. The personal touches and overall experience is no way close to the old Brittany Ferries 😢

I remember well the excitement I felt when being on its maiden sailing from Roscoff to Plymouth. It was an amazing experience for the period, but the highlight was that when we arrived in Millbay, they couldn't open the bow doors due apparently to sticking fresh paint!
