Im 47 and just got out of 7 month relationship with a lady a few years younger. The more i tried to cater to her wants and needs and treat her with kindness and respect it wasn't enough. I own my house, good job and women will say tberes no good black men out here. I just give up.

I had told her that on that particular night that’s where I’ll be. She wasn’t happy about that because she isn’t a fan. Ok cool. To each their own . As a couple weeks passed she started giving me negative vibes. She even tried to pull a power trip and tell me that “ If I go to the concert , well it might be over .” Lol. I told her that I’m going. So, consider it done. She tried the power trip again. I restated what I said earlier. Guilt trips from her , mind games , fake anger . After the concert , I felt a sense of relief. I was glad it was done. I knew that if I would have complied with this control tactic, we both would be resentful. Keeping it 100% I went through everything you talked about. I was dating a older, very attractive young woman in my teens. I felt she was the prize and thought I was very luck to be with her. So to keep her happy, I was a yes man.😪 The day I couldn't do for her, I saw a side that I never thought I would see! All I can say is learn to put yourself number one in this world and if it doesn't feel right chances it isn't right. A person that love you will never ask you to over extend yourself! A person that appreciate you, will understand when you say you can't or no. Never put any one on a pedestal in my opinion.

Mabe, it's me. But I have seen when a not good-looking guy vs. a good-looking guy says the same thing to a woman. Good chance that most females react differently to the guy.
