Ha, just recently I got told I need to switch doctors because I complimented my doctor.. She comes in asks how my summer was did I do something fun and also wishes me happy birthday.. Then she proceeds to tell me she got married and told me all about it and where they went on the honeymoon.. I congratulated her and told her she is a very good looking woman and I wish you the best.. I get home got a message from the doctors office stating she felt uncomfortable with my compliment and I need to find another doctor.. I’m like are you kidding me? I didn’t intend for it to make her feel uncomfortable I’m sorry but sensitive much? Wow, I’m lost for words I also let the office manager know she asked about my love life once I don’t think she should be doing that but I never complained.. A compliment is always valid whatever it is. If she likes you she will open up, and give you the time of day. It’s up to you to lock it down after that.

Because my husband, even though he's a God fearing man, has handled these things that have happened very early in our marriage, very poorly and it came to just calling other men right away, skipping turning to Christ and pointing to Christ and your wife being your ministry, your first priority, being judgemental and harsh, and doing everything the counsel said without checking with God and what He says and just turning towards abandonment and neglect and waiting for her to meet your expectations and earns her trust back before he does absolutely anything at all in the marriage or with her, and she only gets worse and comes to a point where she's stuck on a serious chemical dependency, doing EVERYTHING she can to break free from it and keeps having medical issues no matter what she tries and he just continues to push her away, leaning on division as a solution when God clearly doesn't like division at all...
I've only had narcissistic relationships and had my self esteem lowered.
I've been criticized reapedly.
It's nice to receive compliments because I rarely get them.
* Not all beautiful women receive compliments because people think we get them all the time.
I get stares,eye rolls critical remarks and back handed complimentts.

If I may give an advice to men. If you approach a beautiful woman and all you can say is YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL - you need to understand that she hears that ALL THE TIME!!!
And honestly it gets boring. Not only that an inteliigent woman who is that wifey material, might even feel offended as the only thing the men see in her is her outward beauty...But she has so much more inside which she wishes to be complimented on.
Be more creative, bold so she can see your personality when you approach her. Dont be like everyone else....make your approach so different from others that just that makes her want to find more about you.:)

I don't think it's wrong to compliment someone's looks, I think it can be nice and flattering! But wouldn't suggest your compliments be mostly or too much about their looks, certainly not ONLY about their looks

Perhaps you do look beautiful to him, in any circumstances 😊 You women have totally different look on what is and what isn't beautiful (focusing on details). Men are looking more in general view.

Men must consistently compliment looks of any woman they want a real chance with. Women who are very interested in a man need to know he finds her beautiful. If she feels unsure of his interest, that’s a no way.
Mabe, it's me. But I have seen when a not good-looking guy vs. a good-looking guy says the same thing to a woman. Good chance that most females react differently to the guy.

All women need to be complemented more than men know! maybe not on the first date other than just saying you’re beautiful but sexual comments should not be happening on the first date that’s a clear sign he’s using you!
I wish you would hit on a topic about men that never complement their woman. And i mean NEVER. This is after more than 2 years. Giving closer to wife benefits to a boyfriend. Doing his laundry when i come over, bring him food, cleaning when i see messes, giving him encouragement and anticipating his needs overall. I wonder what is going on here.

Women don't think like men. Men are visual creatures & women know that. If a man doesn't compliment a woman on her looks, it definitely sends the message she's not visually attractive to him. Compliment her looks men. Alot. Then compliment the other stuff too.
