I understand children are a blessing but the toll of pregnancy on your body is likely to be felt more and more as you age. If you are considering more children just consider what a blessing your good health is to your family and if you should risk it when your body seems to be under such strain this time.

In the hospital, I love having the two piece pajamas that have the button down top. I also bring my own underwear and comfy bras I can nurse in. Shampoo and container. I have only had C-sections, so I'm in the hospital for 5-7 days and I shower about 24 hours after birth and everyday after that.

Grew up middle class. Dad was a skilled tradesman, mom stayed home and cared for us four children.I don’t remember having many snacks in the house except fruit. We ate cold boxed cereal in the morning. Mom packed our school lunches of sandwiches and fruit. Hot school lunches were not free in the sixties, so buying lunch was maybe once a week. Mom made a homemade dinner every night. We ate what she served and didn’t complain because we were hungry at dinner time. As our father made more money, we would go out for fish and chips once a week.

I gave birth to my 4 in 4yrs.1 day in the Dr's Office--home in 3hrs

You have a really good idea to stay in the city before delivering. Maybe take Sweet Pea and an older girl with you. If you go into labor then they can stay behind and you can scoot over to the hospital. All the other kids can stay at home with the older kids. There are a lot of unknowns and there is not a way to plan for these, maybe plan to just make decisions on the fly. The plan would be no plan until things are known. MommaBear I know you have a lot of things to do but maybe this is the season where the older kids can rely on what they have learned his/her entire life and let them figure everything out. You have spent their entire lives unschooling and making sure they know the important things that are needed to survive and thrive, perhaps it is time to let them do just this. You have been training them for difficult situations, I have a feeling they would flourish. Always praying (((hugs))))

Are there little restaurants are anything in the hospital ? I know one of the sweet ladies I follow had to stay in the nic u and there was a subway. In the hospital . And I agree there should be a fund me set up to help you and your baby.

In the hospital, Dr. says you have 4 to 5 more weeks.I'm going to let you go home,but I want to see you every week.I say ,better look again,nurse says the baby is coming.So my last was born breech 8 minutes after doc said I could go home.He and I were in the hospital for 2 weeks. I had Dr's from all over come and talk to me.Firstwas in hospital 6 hrs,4wks early,2nd 20 minutes after arriving 3rd 1 hr,4th Dr's says I could go home,he had to go down the hall.He came back 15 minutes later ,to me holding my daughter ,5th I was there,20 minutes. All born 4 to 5 weeks early ,and all born bottom first. They said if born normal I would not have made it to the hospital. I lost 7 babies,one in between each,and 2 more after having my tubes ,cut and tied.I told the Dr. ,if it happened again,I was saying he was the father. It's heartbreaking but I remember them always.

Glad to hear you might only go once a week; I thought I heard in a previous video you might have to go 3x per wk. Doctors don't always know until birth what all is/is not wrong. Seeing different people sounds frustrating.

Misha, I believe that's your name. All you and your Fan Base can do is Pray, Pray, and Pray ! You are an amazing Woman, Mother, and Caretaker of your House, Meals, and all your 12 Children, plus your Husband and Yourself. I agree with you trying to hold off until October 1st to have your Beautiful Little Boy. My second Son was born with a hole in his heart it's diagnosed as a VSD Heart Condition. He didn't have to have surgery, as he grew the hole closed over the first few years. I made sure he saw a Pediatric Cardiologist yearly. I had to find a Dr in another city that was over 100 miles, one way. There wasn't one in our city. I hear you and I understand how you feel as far as frustration, money issues, the baby's health issues. You have a lot going on. It's understandable the way you feel and trying to do whatever needs to be done to make sure everyone is taken care of. When I'm under stress, I will say out loud Jesus take the Wheel ! I give all that Stress to God and let him deal with it. I wish I had some money to send to you, but my Daughter is paying my Bills, and buying the medication that I need every month. Maybe your Fan Base will help you by sending Gift Cards that you can use to help you out. In the end everything will be okay, I'm sure of it.

Firstly sending love and hugs mum to mum, pregnancies aren’t easy and you are handling all of this amazingly. Over here we have charities that are linked to individual hospitals that help pay for things like accommodation for parents when babies are in the nicu, have they recommended any to you or any trisomy 18 specific charities that could help some way? I know it’s said a lot but the lord will have His way and it will all work out and fall into place how He intends. It’s just this in between time of not knowing that I find difficult because you won’t know until little man arrives. I suppose that’s why they call it faith. I have asked a few people I know to remember you and your family when they’re at prayer groups. I think that’s why little man is doing so well, the world is praying for him to keep fighting and do well. I will as always, keep you in my prayers as that’s all I can do, I wish there were more but remember you are loved as well as that sweet little guy you’re growing and protecting xxx
