Hospital food and beverage is EXPENSIVE. Consider some tea bags and sugar to take, some instant coffee and fixings, and if you can find a coffee pot available for use then some grounds, filters, fixings, and a 32 oz thermos; since 2020, available coffee pots are harder to find but cafeterias and vending machine areas often have microwaves. When making those freezer meals, consider casseroles which can be cut into squares/ rectangles and individually wrapped.
Hi momma bear , love your freezer meal ideas they look like they will be delicious..and yes time is limited thats for sure . Your one hard working momma , love how your planning ahead..remember to rest some to 😊...And look over all the trolls ..your doing a fine job !! Still prayers for y'all ❤

The maple and mustard pork sounds delicious. My must have freezer meals had to include a hearty soup which incorporated a meat and chunks of seasonal vegetables, lentils or peas or barley, etc, could be defrosted quickly and served with a bread product if necessary. Your kitchen must smell divine with all the beautiful aromas that are created in cooking for your family. Have a blessed day 🙏❤️🏴
I love the idea of cranberry chicken, I love to make chicken enchiladas with sour cream sauce use flour tortilla put wrap already cooked chicken with some mozzarella cheese put in a big pan I use disposable aluminum cake pan the sauce is like making gravy 6T of butter 6T of flour brown, add milk add good amount of sour cream a can of green chilies pour over enchiladas top with mozzarella cover with foil put in freezer take out thaw oven 350 till hot 30 to 45 minutes really good God bless you all and your baby
I do meatloaf, meatballs to put in soup, sandwiches or premade for spaghetti and meatballs, ravioli lasagna, ranch pork chops, crack chicken (drop the cream cheese in when you bring out of freezer).
We love cranberry chicken too! My kiddos lately have been loving thin chicken breast sprinkled with season all, garlic powder and pepper. Roasted in the oven then last 5 min of cooking we add some sprinkle Parmesan cheese on it. I serve with some sort of rice and usually a roasted veggie like broccoli or green beans. Quick and delicious! Also I throw frozen chicken breast in the instant pot with salsa black beans taco seasoning and corn. Cook that high pressure for 20 min and let natural release for 10 min. Then serve over rice for burrito bowls or in low carb tortillas with some lime juice! 😋 ❤ just a few easy suggestions
I've been following you for awhile love how your children love helping you in the kitchen. We're from Utah have two cute girls. Hope that your family liking back to school. Good luck with everything.
Not sure how you're set for eggs, but if plenty, then breakfast lasagnas/egg bakes w/any combination of meats/veg/cheeses are always a winner for any meal. Another favorite freezer meal is pulled pork w/fried cabbage & lentils, or bbq pork & cornbread bake. We're gluten free, mostly carnivore, so not a lot of veg or fruit anymore, but we have some old favorites that I like to modify. My personal favorite is basically any kind of meat pie/hand pie w/my own pie crust recipe made w/chicken "flour", powdered egg white & pork rind crumbs. These also freeze well & are easy, portable for on the go meals. With the right filling, no dip or add'l sauce is needed either. Some folks call them "pasties" or meat turnovers I believe.Sammy in AZ
Coming from Minnesota, Tater tot Hotdish is a favorite, and it freezes well. I freeze some of my freezer meals in canning jars - like meatballs in gravy and even spaghetti with the noodles. That way they don’t pick up freezer burn and they seem to be able to organize better in the freezer in jars. But Hotdishes I do freeze in pans that I both plastic wrap or parchment paper and cover with foil. Just don’t forget to take off the plastic wrap. And some things I do what you do as well - ziplock baggies. If I pack individually for my daughter’s meals when she works out of town I double parchment paper so it doesn’t stick ti the next item and put the single portion of food in between. I do that for baked eggs and muffins for her as well. I used to pack a week’s worth for her at a time that way. She’s not currently working out of town.
Momma bear..at least you don't have just bland food/ you use your imagination & make tasty dishes. The mustard ..maple syrup sounds so yummy, what kind of mustard do you use?😮 Well you go girl!! We love you..🤗💞🤗💞🤗💞🤗💞🙏🙏🙏🌻🌴
Cranberry chicken is yum! I like to do chicken divan....broccoli, chicken, mayo plus cream of something soup seasoned with curry powder, topped with cheese and croutons.❤
Thanks for sharing I need to do this just to have on hand 😅 I wanted to do this before little man came but he decided to come 8 weeks early so I didn’t get a chance to 😂maple mustard pork sounds good!
Please educate this city gal! Do ten packs of pork chops come from one pig? I’m sorry y’all can laugh hysterically! I really don’t know. In addition I’m vegan too so never thought about it!😂 Maplewood Mustard does sound really good. I think I’ll make that for my crew. As far as freezer meal I grew up with my an Italian Mom and Irish Dad. Baked Ziti was a freezer meal for us! We had pans of it in the freezer in different sizes so if you had just a few people for dinner you used a small one, etc. also lasagna. I make veggie lasagna and balance pasta meals with zucchini noodles since I’m diabetic and pasta just raises my blood sugar. Sometimes when I do lasagna I put the meat on the bottom that way I don’t have to make two meals I just scoop some off the top! I like riced veggies mixed with tomato sauce and something like peas. I freeze that in small containers. For my daughter and hubby I add rotisserie chicken to it. 😊
Depends on the size of the pig. Pork chops come from the pork loin. So the long pieces of meat you find at the grocery store could also be made into chops. We get around 40 ish chops per pig. Some bigger older pigs would give you more.
@@mommabear2manyJust another troll Momma bear !! Look over them !! There just jealous your hair color looks so good without having to dye it for that many years 😊..love it " the grey is all natural 😂😂😂😂😂😂

It’s real life - but you may want to skip over that part if it makes you queasy. Every piece of meat in the grocery store comes there that way. But pasture to table is much better for you. That’s the food chain. But I’m sure you will enjoy the other videos. She has a variety. She works really hard to provide a good family life for her children.
You need to take it easy
I make Puerto Rican food 99% of the time. It’s not spicy but very flavorful.
