You are such a great mom! And Mark is such a great dad! Growing up myself, my home life was nothing like the home you have created for your children. It is wonderful to watch your parenting.
What I loved about this video was how real it was. Baby feeling unsettled, enthusiastic helper , dad trying to distract baby, you keeping your cool. . And it worked . Well done. You’ll thank yourself in the future when you are eating the meals
Great job Everett helping mom with the freezer meals. Mark you're such a great helper. Lauren everything looks good. Violet is getting so big and she's adorable 🥰.
Fold up a crockpot liner bag and put it into a snack size zip bag. Then tape that bag to the back side of your freezer meal. You'll never forget again!
This was amazing. I ALWAYS am inspired to do this for my family - and i think today is the day. Nothing but love and prayers for you always. Let's get our girl her 100K silver plaque everyone - spread the word. Everett is the best helper!! And Miss Violet... i mean the Hamms are just... love love love! 💜💜💜
You are doing so great! Taking care of 4 very active boys and a precious newborn, and still getting other things done is incredible . You amaze me. And, Mark is a wonderful partner at helping out with Violet and he has always been great with the boys. Y’all are great parents, even when it’s extra tough and exhausting. ❤
Lauren you are a good momma, making these delicious meals for your sweet family. I know it was exhausting. You will be glad to have them in the freezer. Little Violet is so precious. Boys are also. Mark is a wonderful Dad. ♥️♥️♥️🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Great idea doing lots of meal prep and planning. You have a busy schedule with 4 active boys and a newborn still trying to settle. I have to admit that I think in your situation I’d be buying a lot of convenience meals at the supermarket for the next few months and get some home cleaning done every week. Lauren you have been through a lot physically and mentally lately so take care of yourself. ❤
Unfortunately, convenience meals probably won't help her feel better physically but I would definitely consider having a mother's helper for a season of healing.
May I just say.... unbelievable! You are so organized and the prepped meals are fantastic. Thank you for showing us everything. Your son helping was amazing, you have a lot of patience. Violet is a beautiful baby girl. So glad that your husband jumps in to help you! You are a truly fantastic mother and so pretty as well. Sincerely, Debbie and Dexter-Dog 🐕🐾 my sweet tiny rescued Chihuahua 🐕 companion living 🏠 a quiet crafty life 🏠🌵 in southern California. 🙋🐾🐕🏠🏖️🙏🙏🧑🦽😎🌄☀️🌅🥰
For recipes that call to add items later in the cooking process, you can bag those items (like grated cheese or cornstarch or whatever) to a small bag then put main bag and any extra bags all together in a 1 or 2 gallon bag. That way you have everything together and don’t accidentally use up an item you need to add to the end of a recipe. Hope that makes sense.
Great job with all the freezer meals. Your family is so sweet and helpful. Baby Violet is so precious. Mark is such a great dad and helps you alot. I love your videos.
It is nice that you have that big island to do your prep work. What a great job to do all those dinners. Violet was really a good girl as you prepared the meals. When Violet got fussy Mike was able to take the kids for a walk. Great job Mark. Great job Everett helping mom. Have a wonderful evening. God Bless.
Mark is such a great husband! So patient and helpful too. I loved watching him do the Costco Shopping! Very Blessed Family!💜 Sweet Violet is absolutely precious!💞
@@ThisAlaskaLife yes he is! My husband enjoyed him when we watched a couple of your trips and Mark explained different things. We’ve been married 51yrs and he’s always wanted to visit Alaska. We’ve never been able to take a vacation our whole marriage due to he worked so many hours and never was allowed to take 2 weeks off at a time. Same job for 53yrs and raising kids it just never worked out.
Idea: forget the fresh onion. All that chopping takes time and causes eye burning and sinus rebellion. Just use dried store bought onion flakes. I do in recipes. It’s very worth it!
It’s amazing how one can multitask to do What you do on a daily basis you are such amazing Parents y’all are and Thank you for sharing some delicious meal prep ❤❤❤
We have been eagerly awaiting this video ever since you did the Costco shop in preparation. Seeing your assistant sweet Everett helping out was an added bonus 😊 Thanks for sharing.
Once again a wonderful video!!! Tip for the slow cooker bags. Put one into the slow cooker after it's cleaned and then put away. It's ready for the next time you use it. Then it will start to become a habit.
From a fellow Eagle River "hunting, flying & fishing" Family, thanks so much for sharing this resource; what an amazing idea! It's especially timely for the busy spring and summer season when we never seem to have (make) enough time to cook fancy meals because playing outside is WAY more fun! We just purchased the "Whole 30" packet with your link (thanks so much for sharing the discount code)! We appreciate your channel and wish you all happy adventuring this season!
So envious of you making all those meals. I have upper back pain so I can't do much at one time. Violet is such a beautiful baby. Glad you had some help as well. Xx
Our fridge indoors just went kaput, a new one arriving tomorrow. After cleaning out years worth of pickles & olives today, I’m ready for a new start! What was left was from when we had 4 adults in the house during covid, but now there are just us two. We just cannot get through a whole jar of pickles. It’s a whole new world. Remembering my grandma saying she always felt sorry for old folks who ate cereal for dinner, then she found herself eating cereal for dinner… Ahh, time marches on. All that said, I still love making large recipes and freezing leftovers for when we’re too tired or busy to cook a good meal. I love chili, lentil soup, etc. Will def look up the link. All the ❤️ to you and yours, esp sweet Miss Violet. What a doll she is. So soon she’ll be trying to keep up with her brothers! Little sisters always have an edge over everyone else 😉
Good Morning, you are so patient with your kids and I love that you are teaching your young men to be ready for the world! Love seeing Violet and of course Miss Luna! Prayers continue for you and your family❤❤
I don't do meal planning i simply don't have the space but i still loved watching this volg your a super mum getting so much prepared with a newborn. I hope you got to relax after all that prepping. Violet is so so adorable love see her in the volgs as well as your other beautiful children 💜
Everett was such a good helper. You’re so organized! Violet loves her mommy. ❤ she’s so little and precious. Your honey is so light in color, ours in MO seem a little darker. Is it the flowers or the process?

Lots of prep and work Lauren….but worth it in the end for nice easy meals…..Being a Brit….Lee & Perrins goes in all my casseroles….wouldn’t be without it….. you should be able to get the large Bottle at Costco. Baby Violet is getting so big and cuter by the minute…Bless❤
I loved Everett helping you make the freezer meals he got to spend time with MOM . Violet gets prettier every time I see her . Prayers and Love 💕 From Oklahoma
Good Morning Lauren, Mark and family ! Great job on the freezer meals , they sound good . Love Everett helping ! Baby Violet snuggling against you and Mark is so cute ! She is growing fast . Teamwork helps a lot ! Blessings to you all!
You need some full page labels to print the instructions on. Then you can just peel and stick them to the bag and avoid the tape. You also need a measuring spoon that adjusts to the size you need. To make it easy, for the Italian soup, I’d buy the premade Italian meatballs and cut them in either half or quarters.
So great to see Everett helping you and you are so patient with him. Violet is so beautiful and growing so much. Those recipes sound delicious. Blessings to you all! You look beautiful Lauren!
Just a tip on tomatoe basil soup, I grow basil year around, I put it in a food processer with the olive oil and freeze in ice cube trays. As for cream I don't use it instead I use evaporated milk or powdered cream. We travel a lot and live in a RV, not much storage space.
Again, I am pooped just watching you prepare all these meals, that was a lot of work! Its nice to know it is is helpful to you when you really need it!! Violet & Everett, so awesome to see them and I can see they have been growing & growing!!! You are such a wonderful Wife & Mother, your family is definitely blessed!!! 👍👍
I'm new to your channel , so I found it while researching my upcoming trip to Alaska. Was so inspired, my your strength and faith through your pregnancy. Your family is beautiful, including Luna, who looks like my Maggie. Now I'm hooked on you cooking videos. You have the kindness voice.
Loved this video !! Showing us a “real life” family. Violet needing you. Everett so excited to help (and Lauren having the patience to help him and teach him). I love your entire family. Glad you were able to complete that task and you will have meals when you need it the most. ❤
Now ,this is the kind of practical video i love to watch. It`s also real life!! Thankyou for sharing ,i know all your hard work will be well rewarded on those busy nights when you`re pushed to even think what to have!!
My mom used to freeze cream in the carton. When thawed, it's fine and ready to whip or use in recipes. Or you can also whip it fresh, add vanilla and sugar (or keep plain for savory dishes) and dollop on a baking tray to flash freeze. When frozen solid store in a bag in the freezer. Pull out desired amount for pie when needed and thaw or put directly on a piece of warm pie.
I love the convenience of freezer meals and food prep. I will be interested to see how these turn out as a couple of them have me feeling skeptical. (The mac and cheese had me raising an eyebrow, but the whole raw potatoes going in a freezer meal had me muttering “no, no, no, no, no, no…”. I am hoping my skepticism is misplaced, and that they turn out great. =) I’m thinking that for the mac & cheese it might be good to mix the flour, dry spices and egg into some of your milk until smooth first to avoid bits of scrambled egg or clumps of flour in your final dish. And the raw potatoes would probably work better added at the time of cooking rather than being frozen first. Typically freezing raw potatoes results in soggy grainy texture after cooking. I really really hope I’m totally off base and they work out great as is. 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 (Old dog, but willing to learn new tricks. =)
Speaking of learning new tricks, it might help to get you into the habit of using the slow cooker liners if you store the box of liners in your slow cooker when putting it away after meals. 24 future meals! Wow! That must feel so nice to have ready when needed. Nice work. =)
The potatoes were actually really good I am happy to report! I think the key is not cutting them up. You were spot on with the egg, I should have mixed it up. I ended up with a solid egg yolk in the middle of the Mac and cheese. Fortunately the rest of it tasted great, it was just funny to find the egg yolk like a giant boiled egg.
Was so happy when I saw this video. You are so patient and kind with helping your boys learning to cook such a valuable skill for them . I love seeing inspectors Luna I have a cat that loves to be wear ever I am. Violet is so beautiful and sweet.
Hi Lauren, Mark and boys and baby Violet and Inspector Luna. Lovely to see Everett helping Mum. Baby Violet so beautiful. Great video again love and virtual hugs. Carol and Gary Liam xx❤🎉
Old fogey here…I’ve never understood the idea of purchasing a meal plan. In my day, it was called perusing your cookbook! A lot cheaper, and guaranteed meals that were favorites.
Yeah, but you also suggested writing a shopping list in notes on your phone and taking a picture for backup in case you delete it. You could just write your shopping list on a piece of paper with a pencil. Convenience wins 👍
You know the packing slips come in a plastic holder. Its about 8x5. You need to get some of those to put your recipe on baggies. The paper will not get wet.
I was surprised that you put raw potatoes in a freezer meal! My mom said when potatoes freeze they become sweet! Let me know if the potatoes turned out sweet! Greetings from Switzerland 🇨🇭 (sorry when I made same mistakes! I’m not so good at writing English!)
You have a cute little buddy hanging out with you this time, once in the belly and now out! Just think of all the fun times when she’s little and wants to help you cook and bake.
Lauren and Mark, your little Violet, is getting bigger and more beautiful every video I see 😊 I am so EXTREMELY !! happy she is home and thriving ❤❤. I hope you all are feeling well 😊I know you are both sleep deprived. But.. I know it's ok, cause she is beautiful. Anyway can't wait for your next video. When I see your posts of new videos I think YYYEEESSS !! I get to see Little Violet and you all it just makes my day to see all your loving faces GOD BLESS !! You all have a good rest of your week ttyl ❤😊 XO
Loved your video. Baby Violet snuggled with mom is precious. Everett is a blast! So glad you're learning easier techniques, those meals are a great way to get ahead of the game. Love to all and God bless. Have a wonderful day. 💜 from AR.😊
What a great idea. You look amazing even if sleep deprived. Definitely can’t tell! Makes my mamma heart happy to see you smiling so big again!! ❤. Take care sweet family!
For the Hidden Veggie pasta, if you will place a piece of plastic wrap on top of the pan, pressing it down on the sauce, before you add your foil, it will prevent most if not all of any freezer burn or ice.
Love that you didn't edit out the crying . It's real life. It gave us a sense of normalcy. I loved this video!!!
Thank you so much!!
Violet seems to be growing so fast.
Great job Everett helping mom with the freezer meals.
Mark you're such a great helper. Lauren everything looks good.
Violet is getting so big and she's adorable 🥰.
It is good to see you doing videos again. I love your family Lauren!
Fold up a crockpot liner bag and put it into a snack size zip bag. Then tape that bag to the back side of your freezer meal. You'll never forget again!

Like everyone else said this was a great video loved it!!!! Family time, cooking and helping each other out.
I enjoyed watching this video..I love how life was just happening and you guys just work around it. Love this family

And, Mark is a wonderful partner at helping out with Violet and he has always been great with the boys. Y’all are great parents, even when it’s extra tough and exhausting. ❤
I put the box of crock bags in the crock when I am not using it. That way, when I take the crock pot out, the bags are there to use. Love your family!
That's a great idea!
That’s where I keep my liners too!
Thank you so much for looking out for me! We’re finding our new rhythm. One day at a time!
Unfortunately, convenience meals probably won't help her feel better physically but I would definitely consider having a mother's helper for a season of healing.

Great idea to already have a meal in the crockpot on the day of prepping more meals. That might be something someone would overlook.
Everett is such a helpful and clever boy. Tell him he did such a good job helping you.
I will!
Love to watch your freezer meals!! Everett was a big help!! So was Mark!! Miss Violet was enjoying every minute, love her baby noises!! 💙💙💙💙🩷💙🩷
Showing all that goes on makes it very real. Well done!
I think all cans should have pull tops!
That would be so helpful!
For recipes that call to add items later in the cooking process, you can bag those items (like grated cheese or cornstarch or whatever) to a small bag then put main bag and any extra bags all together in a 1 or 2 gallon bag. This is a fantastic tip! Thank you!
Great job with all the freezer meals. Your family is so sweet and helpful. Baby Violet is so precious. Mark is such a great dad and helps you alot. I love your videos.
Your entire family is an inspiration.
Hi! Thank you so much 😊
Everett is hilarious, love the banana 🍌 holder! 😂
He always keeps us laughing

I know how hard it is With a new born baby with colic 😌 Just know its really appreciated you still making time for video updates x
Violet getting used to outdoor action with the boys!
She loves being outside!
Hidden veggie recipe was probably so you can sneak veggies from kiddos but yours seem to love them.
Violet is getting big,she is so precious.❤
Meal prep with kido learning so much (he is so cool!) and a newborn, you are AMAZING!!!❤
Mark is such a great husband! So patient and helpful too. I loved watching him do the Costco Shopping! Very Blessed Family!💜 Sweet Violet is absolutely precious!💞

Just watching you gives me strength. You are just a sweet person. And you have a big heart. Thanks for everything. Your so strong.
Lasagna noodles are really great broken up and added to soup, like Chicken noodle. Yum! One of my fave tricks.
We have been eagerly awaiting this video ever since you did the Costco shop in preparation. Seeing your assistant sweet Everett helping out was an added bonus 😊 Thanks for sharing.
I got so excited when I saw this had been uploaded 😂
I’m so glad to have another 24 packed in the freezer! Everett was very excited to help, he did great.
I enjoyed watching this so much! Easy to do for any family🥰plus it’s always nice to see Miss Luna and Miss Violet too❤️
You’re the most patient mother that I know so calm great job mom
Store the freezer bags in the crockpot. That’s what I did to not forget to use them.
Actually meant store crock pot liners in crockpot….not freezer bags.
Once again a wonderful video!!! Tip for the slow cooker bags. Put one into the slow cooker after it's cleaned and then put away. It's ready for the next time you use it. Then it will start to become a habit.

Maybe repurpose those pickles into pickle relish then share with friends, family, neighbors.
@@kathleenzeigler8285 good idea!
You should make pickle soup. I’ve heard a lot of people love it. Pickles aren’t my favorite thing but, this might be right up your alley.
You did awesome brilliant idea. Was so nice seeing you with miss Violet and Everett. Love and blessings to you all xx
Good Morning, you are so patient with your kids and I love that you are teaching your young men to be ready for the world! Love seeing Violet and of course Miss Luna!
Prayers continue for you and your family❤❤
Thank you so much for the prayers.
Love when the boys are ready to help in the kitchen!
We get different shades every year depending on what flowers bloom. Pretty amazing!
When you are a Mom you juggle many things. I remember those Baby days!
But you did it just so calm...I think it makes things worse when Mom gets tense...because 'baby knows' and then they get more upset!
Love that your Vlog show.... looking into real days wether it is a fussy day or a just cuddle time.
You have a wonderful husband (Mark, 'dad' you are doing a great job too)!
I know that the boys are helping alot as Everett was helping you in the kitchen.

True team effort! watching Marc get prepped for walk 🚶♂️ loved it! Hope all the meals are delish!! 🎉 continued blessings for all! ❤
I love how you show us that you wash your hands, because I know if you didn’t do that many many people would probably be on you. Smart👍
I store my box of crockpot bags in the crockpot so I will remember to use them.
Baby Violet is such a pretty baby. Her coos are so adorble ❤❤❤❤❤
Glad to see Miss Violet getting so big and the boys love her I see I'm so happy for your family many blessings for your family
Thank you so much!
Great ideas
I do this with lots of recipes from Pinterest. It's great to have the meals made ahead.
So great to see Everett helping you and you are so patient with him. Violet is so beautiful and growing so much. Those recipes sound delicious. Blessings to you all! You look beautiful Lauren!

If you put your onion in the freezer for 15 minutes before cutting your eyes will not burn. Works wonders
I will have to try this!

Looks like More of a routine is forming. Can’t wait for Violet to interact with the boys, but there’s time for that! Enjoy her while she’s tiny !
She learned from the NICU that you and Mark hold her all the time. She smark.
Love this video. Wonderful mama. your boy helping was the best. Ms Violet is the cutest!!

They seem good as long as we don’t cut them up. Turned out great.
@@ThisAlaskaLife Interesting good to know!
You have a cute little buddy hanging out with you this time, once in the belly and now out! Just think of all the fun times when she’s little and wants to help you cook and bake.
That's the plan! We love having kids help in the kitchen

Great ideas, and saves you so much time. When life is busy enough anyway.

From an italian viewer... For any lasagna or penne to be frozen, better to boil them in advance 😅. Have a try.
Lauren you are just amazing. These meals look so delicious. Miss violet is so precious. I’m keeping all of you still in my prayers
