As s worship/church guitarist, I've gone from analog/tube echo type delays to digital. I've found digital to be far more veversatile

The Catalinbread Echorec does this very well. I dialed in what sounded like a slap back delay, into a plate reverb, with it. Then, with the single drum head, or two to four, with a longer time, are great for the delay effect.

Get the Boss SDE-3000, it beats these pedals easily, not that these are bad choices just the SDE-3000 does everything these can do and more.

Did you know that The Hog runs silent regardless of the gain level because it has a built in noise-gate? I am a heavy handed player that slams the strings, I found that once I pass the permitted level output, the signal is muted for that half-quarter of a second. It's a very interesting behaving pedal due to this

Another video I watched about the Colour Box noted how it really seemed to unlock new possibilities for even something like the Boss Metal Zone, so definitely curious how it can be used in conjunction with other sounds/what sounds it can create on its own.

I think I'll get the kilt. It's more compact, cheaper, and you can even build a diy red remote for that extra chug.

Thanks for this test. Been thinking of this "colour Box" since a while. Was just missing some audio example on the "always on setting" around 10:00 I might use it as an "always on" in my streaming setup since I switch a lot between ecoustic and electric guitars. This way I could quickly adjust stuff before it goes into the computer.

I may have missed it in the video but are you running all of the effects straight into the Enigmatic or are any post?

Have you used the dream and enigmatic in stereo? Are they in phase or are you reversing the polarity with like a diso?

Thoughts one the UA pedals vs Tonex? This video got me curious enough to go buy a Dream 65 and I quickly found it to be much more pleasing than any of the Fender captures I had in my Tonex.

Well, what I thought, what I know, and what I think regarding Strymon delays and my “needs” has been an evolutionary journey. I currently have the Timeline, Dig, ElCapistan, and Volante running. The delays on the BigSkyMX is a bonus. IF I had to give up one it would be El Capistan, but I’m not giving it up. 😂
