Always a fun watch gents! I have The HOG and it is indeed Thicc and Clean. To get the best tones out of it though you really need to be running it into a clean amp. Bilmuri use clean amps with strats and this is how they get the clarity of the single coils and then the thick chuggz. I can hear its clipping quite a lot into the Lion especially on the distortion side. If you try it into the Dream it will be a completely different pedal. Keen to see what you have up next! As far as 'band related' pedals since you have the Limelight and DRV I would definitely recommend you check out the OAM Pano boost or VB-2 (La Dispute). These are next level!
Did you know that The Hog runs silent regardless of the gain level because it has a built in noise-gate? I am a heavy handed player that slams the strings, I found that once I pass the permitted level output, the signal is muted for that half-quarter of a second. It's a very interesting behaving pedal due to this
Oh wow, I am just North of Columbus, its a small world. The Hog sound reminds of turning up the Saturation on my Deco v2, those upper high harmonics, not saying they sound the same, just the top end. Cool pedal.
