😂 i appreciate that mark! I mean like I said, there’s no room! Haha Also, miss playing with you dude. Hopefully there’s a world where we play together again!
Thanks for sharing your process and pedal choices. I really appreciate that your demos use the UA Dream. That’s my go-to amp sim. Living in apartments, so many of us don’t have the luxury of using real amps, even though most pedal demo videos use them.
Alec’s board is seriously one I could jump right in an utilize. I too own the Diamond comp, the og version, but it’s great for an always on tone sweetener. Bluesbreakers are my favorite styles of drive, and have a similar point of contention regarding tube screamers, love/hate them, really use them to imitate the strokes and that’s about it. I use a Packrat as my main distortion if I throw one in the chain. Currently using the warm audio odd box v1 for more of a crunchy distortion. I own the ce-2w and adore that pedal, recently bought the past fx chorus ensemble though and the integrated preamp is neat. The el Capistan is one of my favorite delay pedals as well, although I’d have to say that the Diamond memory lane v1 is my favorite, I do have a jhs panther cub coming in today, would like to see how it stacks up. UA starlight is incredible, the dmm setting is my favorite. I use the cloudburst but miss the merc 7 sometimes, currently using my Strymon flint on plate if I’m not using my spring reverb on my fender twin.
I watched it all fellas. Very informative. Great job - good humor and relevant. Is the board constructed out of solid wood - cherry, walnut…..? Curious
Hey we appreciate that man! It’s Alec here, and yep it’s solid cherry. It’s from a tree that was on my great uncles property, so that makes me want to keep it around even more.
Love the board 😎
buying a pedal because the tap is on a specific side vs just a midi controller for both is legendary

Thanks! We record in a condo so we live off of amp sims. We also use them for all of our songs too and they sound great
Barnhart? I thought I was the only one left!
Haha bro no way!! Well at least we know there’s two of us out here lol
