It is kinda disappointing that you talk about how this game's biggest strength is the exploration, countering the common belief on the internet that it is a main story heavy game, and then you proceed to just retell the whole story in your own words. You also spent so much time reading out books that are available on the internet. At least you filled out the gaps in the writing with some interesting theories. I also liked how you linked the Arantheal to Locke and Tyr to Hobbs. You should focus more on the analysis and less on the retelling of every single thing that happens in every second of the game imo. Most of the time it feels like one of those terrible Patrician videos where he just says everything that happens in the story. It is just hard to keep attention, especially in combination with your monotone speaking style. Maybe it is more interesting for people who haven't played it before though.

The game actually works quite well on Linux (the GOG version, the Steam one can't even launch properly). You get more FPS, but it crashes all the time just like on Windows. An another tip I have not tried yet is to disable Enhanced Music Control (Nehrim ships with it enabled). It is supposed to reduce crashing and stutters drastically. Can't wait to play this game again :)

still watching the video but it's nice to see you covering oblivion mods too! i hope you'll look at Integration: Stranded Light someday. i hadn't played it much (had computer troubles, not with the mod, just in general), but my friend who was crazy about vigilant and maids 2 deception *really* liked it. From what I managed to play, it seemed pretty interesting and fun.

Yes, it is and it will degrade further more if there won't be a good writer. I don't remember who it was who was working on lore in TES, but this beast made lore and esthetic for three games. And after that nothing, Bethesda just stopped. If they will keep same pace of "keep it simple, stupid" then we only get stupidly simple lore and world building. What sucks is great fantasy franchises seem to be trying to kill the fan base Elder Scrolls has entered it's Rings of Power era it is bad when I feel like Harry Potter is doing better on the fans behalf than Lord of the Rings and Elder Scrolls fantasy can't just be tossed together it takes legitimate talent and great writing so that way the lore and the story of the product hits the same notes even if it takes different paths to get there

The game amazed me, as I hadn't much hope for "The mod but Romans". It covers mortality, morality, cultural appropiation, and tons of other subjects in an intelligent and alluring way. It's a mystery for you to untangle, but with many questions left to the player. What is right? What is wrong? And who gets to say so? It was my personal game of the year of 2021.
