    The more casual dialogue between characters sounds like table discussion at a dungeons and dragons game. Like Morihaus and Jubal’s talk. Reminds me of how Morihaus, Pelinal, and Alessia feel like a DnD party. Especially how Pelinal’s madness denotes Barbarian traits. Perhaps some of this as well as maybe the Songs of Pelinal are somehow a recitation of DnD campaign. I can imagine the DM describing as they come across a village of cat people; “As you approach the villager you notice they have cat-like traits. Sharp eyes, a feline nose, pointed ears, whiskers-“ Pelinal: “Hang on…did you say ‘pointed ears?’” Alessia’s PC: Oh gods!

    I consider C0da as shrodingers canon.
    I kinda consider it as canon and i also kinda dont. Kirkbride having been a major player in TES lore, means his ideas have a lot of weight even outside of the canon.

    Kirkbride is a bat-shit crazy genius, but he really needs someone to keep him from going completely insane and nonsense, like Ken Rolston did integrating his crazyness into Morrowind without giving him too much freedom. C0DA, on the other hand, is really fucked up.

    I like the theory that 3 spirits in Aldudagga are Dagon, Molag Bal (Greedy Man) and Meridia (spirit that hides the land while other 2 distract Alduin), since in official lore they were stated to work together in the past. Also Lyg might have been made from those stolen parts, and there too Molag Bal ruled it (as a Rudy Man), and Meridia and magne ge created "Mehrunez the Razor" to destroy Lyg. Other stuff I found is that in new ESO lore book Lorkhan is implied as "Tragic prince of Lyg' which is interesting. In Khajit myth thoise 3 daedra are also connected. And in Skaal myth Greedy Man is said to have possibly been human once. Some stuff possibly contradicts, so either we don't know enough or they changed stuff over time.

    One aspect of Michael Kirkbride's brain that does not get brought up enough is that he experiences synesthesia, in MK's case specifically, he can see sound. A lot of the phrases in the 36 lessons are there specifically because the way they sounded made cool shapes appear in his head.

      I kinda really like this idea, and I think it does fit with the games and specifically who / what we play as. The protagonists in each of the games seem to kinda be mediators for the entropic nature of the Kalpa cycle and the forces which seek to preserve it. Often you're stopping doom and destruction, but it's doom and destruction designed to gain power, probably meant for those forces behind it to be able to last / outlast the current cycle. TLD defeats Alduin, preventing him from eating the world, but also returning his being so that he might return to his duty and later eat the world.
      My personal headcanon / interpretation of the protagonists of TES is that, imagining them as actual characters, they are beings that represent both Anu & Padomay, Sithis & Auri-El, Lorkhan & Akatosh, Spirit / Time & Body / Space, or perhaps even Nir. They, as protaganists, can and often do embody both aspects, creation & destruction, preservation & dismantling, hope & doom. I like to think that, in this role, they all do reach their own enlightenment, maybe CHIM maybe not, but whether it's in a selfish or selfless sense, all see values and importance in this current world, and thus dedicate their existence (and perhaps beyond) to preserving this cycle and continuing it for as long as possible.
      Now, you might also say that's a weak-ass justification for why games keep coming out and the Kalpa still isn't cycling, but I like it this way. In their own way, the protagonists 'solve' the core conflict which started the cycle, mainly by creating an existence which is both ever-changing and ever-static, by doing so they preserve Nirn, and thus Nir, and thus, to some extent, the Godhead.
      The solution to conflict? Peace, both within, and without. The choice when given a duality / dichotomy? The third option, the nature of choice itself, the ability to choose.

    If possible, I'd ask for some clarification on a specific detail: Love
    To reach Amaranth Love is a requirement, however does this type of "love" hold the same meaning and symbology as the traditional/global idea of love that we have?
    Or is it's meaning something more esoteric?
    Cheers!

    • @ballisticwaffles
      @ballisticwaffles 5 месяцев назад +4

      Love is in referral to the Aleister Crowley definition of it. "Love is quite a lot like Aleister Crowley's Love, which is defined as any action or motion that is performed or experienced under Will. " - quoted from a reddit post.
      Will is acting in accordance to the universe's plan for you. As I understand it, much of Crowleys wack ass mysticism is in determining what that purpose is.
      In Elder Scrolls, the universe HAS a plan for you. It was written into the fabric of reality at the beginning when Anu and Padomay killed Nir. The plan is violence. Love in this circumstance is in referring then to Violence. Now that sounds bad, but Violence as a concept is multifaceted. Defending your home is violence. Killing a monster is violence. Saving the day from a villain is violence. So Love then in the case of Amaranth is an act of selfless Violence, whatever form that may be. Jubal's was the act of destroying the Numidium.

      I see you already got an answer for your question, but let me give you another as well: If the TES universe is a dream playing out in someone's head, then what does this knowledge make someone? In real life lucid dreams are exactly that, you are a character in your own dreams, acting even unlike your real self, but if you understand you are in YOUR dream, then all you see is YOU and therefore, they are something worth love (remember the loveletter phrase: the Amaranth cherishes and adores all that is come from Him). When you are lucid dreaming, you can alter your own dreams in any way possible, AE Chim. I hope this helps!

    • @yavek4352
      @yavek4352 5 месяцев назад

      @@cotho. Ohh I see! So it is a conjoining of both acting in accordance to the universal Will and feeling a sort of universal love for all creation, which is in fact all an extension of the individual.
      So in other words: (universal) self-love and (universal) self-fulfillment would lead towards Amaranth

    5:30 these words would be more fitting for vivec, or anybody who has chim, i.e., has the perception that they are pieces of code and that they can edit code, rather than sotha. if vivec told sotha about this, he would zero-sum. so, in eso, the usual less than stellar writing is again a meaningless ramble written by somebody who does not understand what they are talking about.
    yea, sure jubal is registered by code. he is, supposedly, part of the dream / game. so, of course theres a register of him.
    12:26 wyrm
    22:50 dont disagree with anything said in the previous observations. just pointing out that all of those possible realities are realizable through chim, which links the sotha's eso lines from the beginning.
    25:09 wyrm
    23:44 i'm sure this is part of the procedures to attain chim that vivec keeps "secret". remember that the 36 lessons are a gift to nerevar; the guidebook on how to attain chim. for context, jubal-lun-sul, jubal-moon-and-star, he's another reincarnation of nerevar, or hes simply nerevar. now, remember REDRUMLUOF and his cut feet. i believe vivec has been wanting him to attain chim for a looong time, but maybe nerevar lacked the determination? now he wants to marry and kill the numidium, the will to exist and not zero-sum. vivec loved nerevar first and wished nerevar to attain chim, not himself, but they did it wrong. anyway, as if nobody knew vivec is super gay. plus, there is a reason why kirkbride's avatar is vivec and his wife is lady nerevar. my point is, this time, nerevar got chim, and the process involved losing his hands, as per guidebook. very funny jubal asking what he is like. he is drunk and he sees it now.
    27:18 yes, attaining chim is the same as becoming a virus
    27:27 kyne is wife to both because the both are one (as it becomes clear in the end). on your "brother's" corpse.
    30:48 people give too much credit to "the last order given by talos". i agree it is interesting, but the numidium was build by the dwemer with the express purpose of wiping the gods that annoyed them so, because they are atheists. the numidium was born to replace the gods. that's his task, that's his goal. wiping nirn is only part of the process.
    32:21 meta of the meta. if existence is a game made and played by the godhead, who is his character in the game? aka / talos / lkhan ofc. or auriel, the oversoul of the 3. and what is his game objective? he wants to be the hero in his game, and tell his people, everyone else, how to reach his godhead status, i.e., amaranth.
    video too long, i'll watch the rest and comment on it as i have time later, if i remember to do so

      Imo vivec is just Kirkbride's attempt at a canon sue that failed, and he just can't let it go. I mean, look at his obvious hate-boner for Azura, it's as if he's genuinely pissed his idea of Vehk killing her off for good never got the OK from Bethesda so he has to make semi official fanfics where she constantly gets shit on and Vivec wins everyday.
