Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalkers Trailer Reaction
I am currently playing andromeda as for so long I was told it was the worst one storywise , so I figured I would start with this one , so I won’t be disappointed by the time I finish the trilogy . Also I am rather enjoying it decently . Because I have not played the old ones yet . I can’t know how bad it compares to them , I will say , the combat is decent though , I like Al the power options but I really love space exploration , so I look forward to playing around on the differing worlds . I agree with so much of what you said about this game , and I hope I still enjoy it further through it . Great video man 🙌
Makes me sad that many WoW players haven't heard of the RTS trilogy it's based on or EverQuest, one of the game's biggest influences but it is always nice to see new players. I myself started WoW in 2017 and have consistently played Classic throughout its run in one form or another. I would also love to see community efforts to offset the elitism. Optimization has its place but then there's toxic gatekeeping. I myself prefer to optimize in terms of being less squishy once I get to certain zones rather than power leveling.
Yeah I’m definitely enjoying my time in WoW. I just found out that they’re doing something similar to Everquest’s progression servers so I’m thinking about looking into that lol All of that said, I know basically nobody in the game right now, and not having all the time in the world to play doesn’t help that out. Always fun though lol
Good shit!
lol Thanks!
Playing tbc for the leveling is like playing a quarter of an mmo. You wont get the tbc experience until you grind til 3am for a single reputation, just because your guild is raiding the next day. Once you hit 70 the game should be called world of attunements. Just google tbc attunements and see what i meen.
I never was expecting to get the full experience since I'm very late to the part. Not to mention I don't know many people who play the game. While I would love to try raiding and the other stuff, this was mostly just a journey from 60-70. Though I did just now find out that there's apparently a locking experience setting of some sort so I can actually experience these things without the threat of overleveling. Something I need to look into now lol
wonder who else understood the white whale reference
Geez I would hope that’s not an obscure reference now lol
You can lock your experience so that you can actually do all of the quests and all of the dungeons
Wait really???
Nani?!
Get your butt on the just launched fresh classic anniversary servers and experience this game in the best way possible. Playing though expansions on servers that have already progressed past them is a dismal way to experience it.
Wait they added new servers with the Anniversary? Geez I’m out of the loop. How do expansions work on that? All released? Timed?
@@MegaMadVladMMO its put into phases, just google it. TBC is coming after those phases
They've been open about a week. There'll be about a year of original WoW, with phases opening new raid content/some other stuff like pvp systems and the like at a few junctures. Then TBC. They haven't said anything about later expansions, but Wrath is a very popular one so its a likely bet they will do that.
@@Arenumberg Oh interesting! That sounds like progression servers like what Everquest does.
@@MegaMadVladMMO Yeah they already did it to Cata, which is continuing on to the next expansion next year, but people wanted to start over again already XD. Holly Longdale who worked with EQ and its progression stuff has been at blizzard in a relatively high position for a while now, so its not surprising.
ill always be sad this game never got its follow up
Up next is Wrath of the Lich King! What’s your favorite expansion?
Mists of Pandaria and Legion tbh...
@@SennkohCoola2 Well at least we're getting Mists Classic soon-ish. Just wondering how far they're going to go with Classic launches, if they make it to Legion or not.
We did not give it a change . Comparing it with the trilogy was not fair and comparing Ryder with Shepard was not fair as well. Yes the game still have problems but i will like to see it become a trilogy and maybe see Ryder grow as a character . I think the biggest problem that the game had is that we have compare it with the trilogy .
One of the biggest issues is people always thinking new stories in the same universe should be a step up in everything from the finale of the last game. This was a set up game, not finale+. I like to look at games and the experiences they give on their own standing. Comparisons will always happen, but my first thought is how the game is, how it plays, and what I take away from it without thinking about anything else. Andromeda is a solid experience. There's a reason why people who have never played the previous ME games enjoyed Andromeda lol. It's a solid experience.
@@MegaMadVladMMO I am playing the game right now for the first time and i am really enjoying it . Yes Ryder is not Shepard , but Shepard was a badass before we even start playing and Ryder is barely military . If we compare it with the first game , it´s like the kett is the geth and if we have give a change to the game to become a trilogy maybe we will have learn that the kett are just a small fish like the geth . Ryder on the other hand is not there because of Ryder´s skill´s but because of his/her father . The only problem for me is Liam . Let me talk like Sara Ryder for a little . I go to the bridge the sun blind´s me i put my hand up and Liam is there to close then i go to the map and Liam is behind me to close WAY TO CLOSE this was the moment that i start screaming DON´T YOU DARE TOUGH ME YOU CREEP . That was the moment yes i hate Liam i want to space him but i can so i will pretend that he does not exist . There is no Liam breath Ryder breath in breath out no Liam . That is my only problem i want to space Liam and i can´t .
@@xaxaxaxaxa6417 lol To be fair, I don't think you can space any companions in any of the games. But yeah, I played Andromeda under the idea of seeing what the game was as a standalone, as well as knowing it was the first game for a supposed-to-be trilogy. If we had to compare it to something, it should've been compared to ME1. ME1 was fantastic, but it wasn't without faults either. 2 and 3 took the formula that 1 started with and went on to become some of people favorite games ever. Andromeda just never received the chance sadly.
"Is that dwarf NOT STONED?" enters the best quotes ever
I really apreciate how you left Aurene's vision in full, despite it using up a non negligeable chunk of the video. It itself has a lot of meaning. I agree with you, that whole season was STELAR (and episode 4 also stood out). Sadly, this is, from my opinion, the peak of GW2 story telling. You were hopefull that quality would continue, but you will likely be disapointed. The rest of the story isn't exactly bad, but it can't compete with what season 4 offered us (ok, some part ARE bad imo. Looking at you DragonStorm!)
Oh I absolutely loved it! It was written so well! As of this moment, I’m all caught up in the story so all my thoughts for every batch of content are out on the channel lol
What is your build/gear Vlad?
I think it's Berserker armor for Power. I like Bladesworn best, use sword and pistol, as well as a defense banner and a damage banner.
Just Subscribed to help you get to 1K!
i DIDN'T CARE MUCH FOR ICEBROOD SAGA.
LWS4 was, indeed, a great story.
Aw, you're ahead of me! (Just getting into exploring the first Nayos Map to 100%). What I never heard mentioned is all the callbacks to everything our Commander has been through. The floating islands filled with "what ifs?" And the return of my second favourite character from PoF: Awakened Merchant! "You... buy!" He's so nice, even saying, "You... bye!" His reports on us are a brilliant read. And JW is continuing the story so I want a PROPER convo with a Floaty Armour Dude instead of "Here he is, he dead now."
There's so many characters in GW2 that seeing the phrase "Floaty Armour Dude" could be anyone at this point in my head lol
Two things there, man: Nice to hear the jazz band from Club Canach at the end! And did you/have you tried "Looking Back"? You, too, can become an *Honorary Delaqua*! It means nothing unless you played through LWS2 but there was some great character development, acting etc. And Canthan zip lines never get old!
Hmm, not sure. What exactly is this "Looking Back?"
1:35 fun fact. Everything Ron Burgundy says in that scene is a title in GW1 for maxing out other titles.
5:15 look for skills labeled stun breaks. They will break you out of stuns and knockdowns.
Aww you cut the moment Crecia tells Ryland he was a spoiled little bitch she should have aborted. Seriously the Icebrood Saga had some nice ideas like how the Charr - a standard klingon warrior race - were slowly realising war isnt really a lot of fun when its your own side getting wrecked.
The story and themes of IBS were great, but the execution of said story in the later chapters were really bad. From everything I was reading and heard about, it sounded like the team was rushed at that point so it's still a miracle we got what we have. That said, I would still love if they had a small team trying to rework the ending to make it better. When you have a long running story, you always want to put your best foot forward. Add to that the fact that GW2 has the ability to let us play whatever we want, when we want, and I honestly believe that it would not only get new players more invested with a change, to the players who already got past IBS going back to check out what the devs did.
The Balthazar boss fight had me screaming with joy and rage, this expansion made me feel a lot of emotions, like when Aurene was captured. I was seeing red for a lot of it.
I stopped somewhere in the middle of the story. I enjoyed the Nayos meta and really wanted the demon armor for my sylvari necromancer. However, I realized, that I don’t care how this story ends. I don’t care what happens to this Eparc guy. I predicted Peytha will usurp him and that’s what happened. Mabon was a character I really wanted around more, but his death was so sudden and out of nowhere. There is another. There was a part, where you lead this small demon to safety and they join the camp. They are cute and shy and I was ready to watch smiling as they grow. But like 5 minutes later, they die tragicly. I… I was suppose to feel something here. But I can’t, since it happened so fast. Overall… SoTO is mixed for me. I tried to enjoy it with an open mind. But they just don’t let you be with these character to know them. They introduce them to be interesting, then you barely do anything together.
It's funny how they "release" an expansion that takes a year to get all the content promised at purchase and when you get the final bit the "new expansion" is out... lol
My assumption to this was their plans changing to the yearly expansion release models mid-development of SotO. Not sure if it's going to be the same way with Janthir Wilds or not, but considering the story development has been happening with all the patches in SotO, I would expect it with JW too. We'll see though lol
Awesome and informative vid! Loving the puns! And yes, R'tchikk is adorable and must be protected at all costs! Tip for you going forward: make sure you poke around everywhere through the side achievements but also any interactables you come across in the maps and story. Anet have absolutely littered SotO with hints of story lore leading into Janthir Wilds (Case in point, pause at 14:42 in your video and look just above the General to the far back corner of the room. A certain shiny crystal thing is discretely watching unnoticed by your character and everyone else there. A thing which will look rather familiar if you think back to Episode 6 of Living Story Season 3). As for Zojja. To learn more ingame about Zojja, Logan, Eir, Rytlock, and Caithe you need to play the storymode paths of the core game's dungeons. Those paths piece together their group, their personalities, and some of their history with each other. If you like reading actual books, check out the book "Edge of Destiny" (it's available cheap in ebook format) to have even more backstory on the five of them and how their guild was formed. (and honestly if you've read the book, Zojja's reaction is even more heart-wrenching for you when Mabon goes down). Anet definitely tried to go bigger with the story in SotO than resources would allow, they had too many characters and character threads to cover them all properly (something they acknowledged in their "looking back" block post). It already looks like we've got a nicely refined number of core cast members for the next one, and Anet have stated the story will be rooted in the region we're going to and not anywhere else... With a side-serving of looking at the moral abiguity of the Astral Ward/how they handle things. And now we're getting a new group/culture of Kodan... Hmmmm... Hmmmmm... And we have a certain Kodan Wizard we've never met, who left the Astral Ward/Wizard's Court because their way of handling things no longer sat well with her, and who until now would have been presumed to be one of the Polar Bear type Kodan.... Hmmmm, I wonder :D But yeah, seriously. Go poke around!
Thank you!! I've only had R'tchikk for a day and a half, but if anything happened to them- Oh interesting! In the throne room? I'll have to go back there sometime then lol I did 2 or 3 dungeons but didn't wanna hold people up to watch all the cutscenes ;u; Yeah, they had interesting stuff there in the story, just wish they had some more time to let it flow better. SotO isn't the first time this happened, a great example being Braham's interactions with the Commander suddenly going from understanding to disdain and even hate at the drop of a hat. The stories are great and have a ton of potential, but I'm on of the people that loves to get lost in a story and world in the games I pick up. When something with no buildup happens, it does have a way of taking you out of the immersion and whatnot. Oh yeah! I'm looking forward to seeing what comes in Janthir Wilds! This will be the first time I'll be partaking at launch! Let there be Kodan!
@@MegaMadVladMMO Haha, you needn't go back into the story. If you look at your own footage at 14:42 you can see the thing I'm talking about to the right of/roughly level with the throne (darn thing being transparent lets it camoflage so well! You can still make the sneaky triangle out though) And yup, launch day is great. Make sure you're hanging out in Lion's Arch for the hour or so before the patch (it's always the same as the standard patch times). Players are always having a bunch of fun chatting in mapchat in LA waiting for it to launch. The moment you get the "new build available" banner, you just log out, patch your client and log back in and you're off! No server downtime :)
I’m going back through the Icebrood Saga now to complete the “Return to” achievements, which reward you with a Legendary amulet. I remember playing it the first time and liking the beginning chapters, but after the announcement of the End of Dragons expansion, it quickly became obvious that the developers were cutting corners on the second half of the Icebrood Saga story and the final fight between Primordus and Jormag was a huge disappointment. Killing off two Elder Dragons in such a rushed manner after 15 years of build up was almost criminal for the fans. It could have been handled so many different ways that would have been more acceptable to the community.
Very interesting to see someone doing it all at once. I did it patch by patch. One thing I found is some achievements had voiceacting behind them, telling more about Waiting Sorrow and her leaving. Was a nice unexpected and fun to grab up those achievements.
That was the expansion that made me quit the game. Completely terrible.
While I did have a good time with it, it's definitely my least favorite expansion out of all of them. To be fair, I did expect that as well because of the nature of it being a smaller expansion to begin with. I'm hopeful it was a good way for the devs to figure out what they can and can't do with this yearly release schedule.
@@MegaMadVladMMO The whole stealth thing at the start of it enraged me so much that once I finally passed it, I played a bit with that character in the new zones and was done. I had no want what-so-ever to take any of my other alts through that intro hellscape again.
After that you do like 2 "quests" and get the free tp to the hub, so no need to repeat
Interesting take on Trahearne as pact leader. I've always considered him to be the obvious choice. But I did my first playthrough on a sylvari and got to see him dealing with the risen way before the pact was even a thought.
Yeah, at the time I played the base game, I knew next to nothing about Trahearne and then he just up and became the Pact Leader. It just goes to show the difference of experience people get depending on their race and choices at the beginning of the game.
@@MegaMadVladMMO Oh yes, it really varies. The other day I had a discussion in another comment section with someone who complained they couldn't find gw2's main story. It turned out they did, but they didn't recognize the human story line as part of that. It made me realize, not for the first time, that Sylvari are the ones most connected to the main plot all the way up to the end of HoT. I feel like after that it's more taylored towards humans. Although I haven't played season 5 yet, which I expect to be more norn focused. I also find it fascinating that all the other races just kind of stumble into the fight against Zaithan, while the Sylvari plot line manages to be a chosen one story, without actually treating you as the chosen one, which feels really awesome.
i had to laugh, taco bell toliet sounds bad enugh if it looks like that
Lol I’ve never been in a Taco Bell bathroom before, but the stories I’ve heard
SOTO is uniquely shit yes.
I strongly disagree. First 2 maps + their story were amazing. It is just that Demon story was weak, neglected characters established in the first part of the story and didn`t have any interesting twists.
@@procerator what story? literally every release was 1 hour of story less if you did not have to do boring events. Wizards tower was so under whelming we waited for decades to go to the wizards tower and the best they could do was an empty boring map. That mao should have been oozing lore, secrets and history and we got nothing. Not to mention they turned demons into poor misunderstood subjected people that only want to be free. In other words they turned something that could have been a great enemy into nothing.
@@MrVivi0001 there are a lot of things to do in Wizards Tower
@@procerator you mean old boring things that most people don't do or care about. And that lots is not really that much.
Reading these complaints about the SotO story reminds me of how many times the GW2 development team has screwed up an opportunity to present and expand the great lore of this franchise. For a game that isn’t known as the best for its endgame or PvP, and that it has more casual story loving players, they really need to put more focus and effort into making the story great, if this game is going to survive.
Nice you're all caught up now!!
Almost time to try my first on content release with Janthir Wilds!
I'm glad you had a far better time with SotO than I did. I came to this from a very different angle. I played it as an Asura, so Zojja getting mindwiped off camera and us only finding out later when she can't really remember the Asura commander felt really off. "Go do rifts" got old very quickly when you did the story as it came out and doing rifts felt like half the content. It was also painful seeing yet another big thing (the Wizard's Tower) have its potential wasted with poor planning (like Jormag/Primordus). It's too bad the fight with Ignaxious wasn't on a platform so he could have yeeted himself off of it in full Dragoon glory!
Zojja mindwipe makes sense. People forget that Zojja was actually a bitch. Now they can change her personality to be much more loveable.
Yea. Rift hunting is the majority of the content from me. As 3 month prior to launch, aside from strike and the meta is the only thing that stood out. It is not even good content as leggy armor was not even out yet. The metas on 3 map AND convergence was not even good at all. Massive downgrade in fun compared to EOD
SotO isn’t perfect by any means, but what was there was probably a bit more fun for me since I didn’t linger on things for months between patches. It’s just one of the things that makes my experience different from people that play everyday. One of the things I was indifferent about was the Wizard’s Tower. Since I started GW2 almost 2 years ago, I didn’t even know the tower existed lol Not until SotO anyway.
@@MegaMadVladMMO I think it helped that you had the opportunity to take it in one stretch. for the rest of us that took when dripfed it was 45 minutes of story and then wait three months. I'm so glad ANet learned a lot from this and I hope the pacing of JW will be a lot better.
Oh absolutely. My experience was bound to be far different since I didn’t have to wait between patches. That said, I’ll be in the same boat as everyone with Janthir Wilds. Here’s hoping that expansion runs better overall now that ANet dipped their toes in this new release cycle
5:25 🤣
Finally! First off I wanna say I think your videos are always hilarious, both script and editing wise, especially how you catch little funny moments while playing, like Cerus plonking down on you. I don't play the other games you cover so I can't say much, but the GW videos are always a treat and I revisit them every couple of months. Now specifically for this: Zoijja's ascension: Nope, you didn't miss anything! She just did it off screen and then it wasn't mentionend and we were all confused and emotionally underwhelmed. Story: Yeah, I think the majority of the players that enjoy story felt the same way, general consesus I've seen was: It was too much story for too little time. This could've been first a wizards court and then a second kryptis civil war expansion. Doing both in one left us with a lot of underdeveloped NPC's you didn't feel much for when they died immediately and it felt rushed in a lot of parts. This is the first time I ever felt like I wasn't paying enough attention and I was missing stuff, but when I replayed... Nope, there's just a lot of gaps where stuff had to get dropped. Anet even adressed this and admitted that they bit off too much and have a better understanding now after doing it once of the scope they can pull off in a year. Questbar: This was a big critique this time and while it usually doesn't bother me, the constant bars you needed to fill felt a bit dull. I think it would be way less noticeable if they did it just a bit more elegantly and you just got a list of tasks/events and you have to to x amount of y, kind of like the dailies/weeklies in the wizards vault. "Help here" " Escort this" "Capture the fortress (i.e. do the meta)" just is immediately more engaging than " do events until the bar is satisfied" Overall I think it was fine. I like the expansion for the aesthetic and also the QoL Updates it brought, and I'm excited for Janthir Wilds!
Thank you! That's very kind of you to say and I appreciate it very much! ^^ Yeah, I liked what they were going for in the story but felt it needed more time in the oven. Even just making the story longer to have certain scenes have more meaning to them would help the overall experience. I know that there's a lot of people that play MMOs only for the gameplay and friends rather than the story, but the story is one of the things I look forward to in games. Stories help me to just get lost in a world and want to know more. See more even. It helps to make a world feel more full essentially. Yeah the fill bars were a bit excessive in this, especially with how I did the entire expansion all at once lol. Janthir Wilds is definitely sounding bigger in a lot of ways. Not tremendously bigger, but bigger at least. When plans on projects and development get changed, the scope can be harder to pinpoint down. I saw SotO as ANet learning how the scope should work and that the real test of their mettle would be in the following expansions. Definitely looking forward to trying JW actually ON content for the first time. It'll give me a different overall experience lol Once again, thank you so much! ^^
Now the only thing you are missing is the Raid storyline aka the story of the raids. Like there is only ... (starts counting on his fingers) 3 ish stories.
lol Doing the raids is on my list, especially more so now since Janthir Wilds is getting one. Just currently too busy to try finding a group to run them with at the moment. Not to mention JW is pretty much right around the corner so there's that lol
@@MegaMadVladMMO I my self also need to start doing the raids but mostly for the legendary armour and trinkets. Just it is so hard to get into it. Seen this conversation yesterday in Lion's Arch: The game is really easy and because of that people are expecting you to do speed runs of the raids and fractals. Best way to enjoy them is to find a guild that is not full of try hard speed runners. Ans I can not agree more.
@@Auriorium Yeah I wanna do the raids to see what they're like. I've done normal raiding in FFXIV before, but considering how different GW2 is, I can only guess as to what the experience is like. Definitely looking forward to it at some point lol
As for the "story", there are 2 self contained (5 and 6-7), the real good one is 1-2-3 , though its too late my friend cuz they fill the gap between HoT and bloodstone fen and now you are completely spoiled off what "their are doing".. but may give you more lore context if you are into it What you REALLY wanna do wing 4. For starters its the easiest one, but that aside the story it tolds links to SotO and JW
@@MegaMadVladMMOeven if not a content creator, if you make an lfg and clearly state that you are inexp and wanna clear for story, you gonna find bored nerds that'll join and carry.. that or join the "ping 250 bananas" groups, the toxic meta applies mostly on mon/tue, after the weeklys are cleared we are bored, wanna play awfull meme builds or try another role and the elitism drags off (at least in EU)
I just finished the other parts yesterday! what perfect timing!
LUL! The video would've been done sooner if Elden Ring didn't take my soul for a while there, regardless, we couldn't time that any better if we tried
Janthir Wilds. You're next! ;P
You can get the other aspects of Caladbolg by using Unbound Magic to buy them from a Vendor in the Grove home instance.
note if you're a a Norn who is a follower of raven there are a couple of different voice lines
That's one thing I do appreciate about GW2, depending on your race and choices of backstory, some dialogue is different
bro you should have gone from the direction undercity to the badlands through wetlands and stuff longer but also safer and easier way
Couldn’t have had that story if I already knew the safer route there lol. I’m perfectly fine with making mistakes like that, it’s what makes journeys like this memorable.
walking to badlands from arathi down is a 10 minutes walk. why would you do that to yourself thru blackrock lol
Well there was a few reasons for this. The first one being I don't know the layout of Eastern Kingdoms and how each zone connects to each other since I'm still new to this stuff lol. The second is I wasn't at Arathi Highlands by this point in my time in the game. And the third is it not only worked out, but I also got a story out of it in the end lol.
@@MegaMadVladMMO just funny that you hit up a guide telling you this bs. But anyways. As long you enjoy your journey the game dud as it supposed to <3
I think finding that guide was specifically my fault since I typed in something like "How to get to Badlands from Stranglethorn Vale". Very specific question in that case lol But yeah, it's been a lot of fun going on this journey so far!
The modern classic wow 1-60 is Era. The players left in era are nice and helpful. Should have tried that for the real vanilla experience... or at least closer to it.
Yeah, I had a few things I was looking at before starting my journey through Classic WoW. Did I want to try finding a group every dungeon, or queue up for a random dungeon to save time? Wrath Classic also had Joyous Journies enabled to speed things along as well. The decisions were all made with making sure I could get a video out in a more reasonable time. It took me 60 hours to get from 30-60 so I can only imagine how much longer it would be in Classic era. The other thing I looked at was that, while yes, the game changes with each expansion, I was still able to get a fairly similar question experience to that of Classic Era. That said, I do plan to play Classic Era at some point when I have a group to go through it with. Likely won’t have a series for it like this one though lol
Classic WoW is great but I wish it was still closer to vanilla/tbc days when people were genuinely clueless and even going through dungeons was a challenge. Cataclysm in particular neutered the "journey" aspect of the game because not only can you take on multiple mobs without worry and solo every single elite because you're already a beast even by level 10 in pre-patch but also despite the questing experience still being relatively great and fun to see the revamped zones and questlines the dungeons are so hilariously nerfed that something like RFC that would take up to half an hour with a random group in vanilla I genuinely blazed through in five minutes by using RDF for the first time ever two weeks ago, it's BIZARRE. Ever since I was a teen back in 2008-2010 I fucking adored the slow and weighty adventure-like levelling experience of Azeroth just as you mentioned, nowadays it's very tunnelvisioned and streamlined to the point where you can do everything solo and never interact until you hit 85 and have to join a guild for raids, but even that is not needed anymore with how well organized most realm discord PUGs are these days lmao.
I can believe that. Classic WoW has a far better new player experience than Retail any day of the week. For me, the journey in something like this is what gives memories. I’m gonna remember my times doing the run back for Blackrock Depths lol. I don’t know everything there is to know about WoW and it’s dungeons. My experience right now is that of what you described and it honestly makes the experience more fun overall. I’m kind of soloing my way through the game at the moment with the frequent random queue dungeons for fun.
It’s a cozy game. I also made so many characters until I finally fell in love with the mage class. I just portal between places to avoid the travel time. Nice vid.
The sheer amount of utility skills the various classes get is really interesting. Mages create portals, Warlocks can help summon others, Shamans can walk on water, etc. It honestly makes Azeroth feel more fleshed out with stuff like that. Thanks!
@@MegaMadVladMMO it's awesome if your friends cover all those classes. And you develop a good possie.
Oh no doubt about that lol
It's hard to appreciate Blackrock Depths with random groups and the instant teleport to dungeons. If you have a group that isn't full of 110km/h speds, it's by far the best dungeon experience in game.
The dungeon itself wasn’t bad at all. Though that run back was brutal lol.
Lots of dungeons are cut up as well - Maraudon is hella long but RDF basically has you kill one boss near the start as an entire run, a few later on in another RDF, and another one for the a few ending bosses. BRD is another example of that.
Oh is that one of the reasons people dip after a single boss kill?
@@MegaMadVladMMO I have to imagine so, one boss will grant the RDF completion bonus so they leave. I don't think theres a reason to do so otherwise unless you're targetting an item for locked lower level pvp or something, but that's not something ive ever seen.
Classic WoW is a time
Can’t wait for Mists of Pandaria classic :)
That’s called Remix lol That’s coming to Retail right now as an event
It's also likely it'll come after cata - remix is basically an experiment - one I imagine is a testbed for stuff they can do with older content for retail, as its nowhere near an experience of the expansions as they should be. So leaves room for Classic to carry on (and its new and old flavours to come) and of course for more remixes if it goes well.
I am curious about why they did the Remix. If what you suggest here is what it is, then that makes some sense. But I'm also wondering if Classic Cata is where traditional Classic ends. Hard to say. Blizz might not even know at this exact moment what happens after Cata in this instance. Only time will tell.
@@MegaMadVladMMO Traditional classic ends with the end of Wrath, Cata remakes the old world entirely, condenses the talent trees, to their last recognisable form before Dragonflight, and those old world changes make its Azeroth functionally the same (missing expansion lands, of course) Many people expected that they might not do Cataclysm at all if they were not interested in continuing classic beyond the old world - but I personally think if they did Cata there's no reason to not continue.
GW2 vanilla gameplay did not feel that good at release but in its current state it is very laid back mmo with some very strong pve(some fights in gw2 are superior to wow like sunsqua CM which is a masterpiece of a fight). Not sure if you are sponsored but one of the core issue of the game is its cash shop. For B2P game it goes pretty hard on the fomo cashshop and lack of natural QOL. The story is ok, story content is a bit lengthy for what is is but the universe is rich and coherent and they did a good job of intertwining story content and mastery unlocks in expansions. About pvp, GW2 has by very far the best ranked pvp ever, RvR kind of suck it is a decent playground for top players or social players who like zerging for account value.
Now that I’ve played all the way through EoD, I can say my absolute favorite bits of content are Dragon’s Stand and Dragon’s End. The absolute spectacle of both of those Metas are phenomenal lol And nah, no sponsor or anything. This is essentially my journey and experience through the game
@@MegaMadVladMMO Wish you the best then.
Dragon's end meta is the most beatiful part of the game experience.
I was so happy when it was like Dragon's Stand. Loved how grand they both are and both are absolute highlights of the game for me!
IMO the game is ok but sandwiched between two much better games. I feel the same way about Mass Effect 2 in that I consider Mass Effect 2 and Dragon Age II to be the worst games in their franchises so far. But in Mass Effect 2 I cared about the characters a lot more and the setting was more interesting to me.
