    Something very fun about the White mantle is the fact that you get a whole lot more of their story in the first raids!

    Regarding Siren's Landing, you can use the shrines/alters as teleport spots after unlocking them. So, you don't have to only use the single waypoint.
    I think there's an achievement tied to them (not sure about that though).
    I like that the masteries make you slow down and take in the environment and other aspects of the game, instead of letting you plow through the story. Sometimes, I find the slow down to be annoying, but other times I appreciate it for what it is.

    • @MegaMadVladMMO
      @MegaMadVladMMO  Год назад

      Yeah the slow down helps me to want to explore more. I'm not really a big explorer in games but this game does it well enough to make me want to explore. Seeing the things out there, the different Meta events, what types of enemies are out there, etc.

    About Sirens Landing, it actually have another travel system with sort of portals on each area, so 4 of them. You died pretty much next to it =D It will show up again in season 4 the travel system just so you know to look for it =)

      @@MegaMadVladMMO It is, the expansion you start in determines which story is your 'main' as each counts as a standalone game in its own right. In prophecies you start in Ascalon, Factions has you start in Cantha, and Nightfall has you start in Elona. Only Eye of the North requires any of the preceding expansions to function, but you get the most of it if you play it with your Prophecies character.

    Great video again! Happy to hear you can appreciate Braham, he gets SO much over the top hate it’s crazy. Yeah, he is infuriating in this storyline- he’s supposed to be! Just like Caithe was wrong in HoT! It’s so weird to me that people can’t grasp that characters can be stupid and HAVE to be sometimes to drice stories forward

      Yeah, while he's not very likable in this story here, he is made believable. He's young, naïve, and doesn't know how to handle loss well. It's part of character development overall and something I do appreciate!

      Fully agree! I also felt like it made A LOT of sense for Braham to be unable to properly process the death of Eir in a healthy manner.
      I mean, she literally left him as a kid and then he FINALLY gets to spend time with her, get to know her, and then she’s gone.

    And oh boy am I excited for you to experience Path of Fire, even more than Heart of Thorns. It should be a very nice breath of fresh air because of the mounts and maps. You've already experienced the basic raptor but the environmental gameplay is next level for an mmorpg in PoF. Just that alone made me personally have an amazing experience throughout the expansion, not even mentioning the fun story and other little exciting things 😜

      It's an issue that long running series tend to run into from time to time if the games are direct sequels. "How do you explain things easily and quickly enough to players who skipped the prior games?"
      Never an easy issue to overcome of course. Regardless, still a great expansion, just now I want more information on certain things lol

    A lot of people HATE Braham because the only experience they have with him was through HoT before Season 3 and/or had a watered down version of Season 1 without experiencing the full story it had (there was a bunch of shit that happened you don't get to see). Btw, the girl that he spent a chapter on in Season 1 to rescue? Risked life and limb to save her? Dumped him because he wanted to live a simple life and started dating a rich merchant almost imminently after. And this was literally a month before his mother died the way she did.
    Say what you want about Braham, but I've always viewed him as a younger brother that just needed a punch in the face before a bearhug. He matured a lot, but you can feel his depression at the end of EoD. (He was canonically 16 in Season 1 and I was 20 when Season 1 released)

    • @MegaMadVladMMO
      @MegaMadVladMMO  8 месяцев назад

      Yeah, Braham is an interesting case here. I didn't end up getting too attached to any of the characters in LWS1, but that could also be attributed to how fast I've gone through the story overall. Not having to wait for new content is a different experience from those that had to wait months or years for the next content drop.
      Regardless, while I did understand his feelings from seeing his mother die in HoT, seeing how he talked at the end of that expansion and seeing how he was immediately hostile toward the Commander in LWS3 was a bit jarring. There wasn't anything in between that felt natural about it.
      I completely understand where the writers were going with his character there, I just don't think it felt so natural. Him being like that makes sense, I just feel it needed some more leadup to it first.
