For pasengers and freight, serving some of the most important Mediterranean ports (Algeciras, Valencia, Barcelona, Malaga) and will be finished much sooner than british HS2 or Californian HS, as Spain, the second largest HS network in the world has the knowhow, the expertise, and the best budget eficiency.

These projects do not seem large but why are they so expensive?! $133 billion for 90 km of railway?? That's ridiculous. The newest underground line in Singapore cost $25 billion for about 45km of underground metro. Australia is shooting itself in the heart with such expensive infrastructure projects.
