TOP 10 Largest Megaproject In The Middle East

Since decades ago, Dubai was just a desert, but with the development of technology and the growth of money, mega projects began to be built.
This worked for them and other countries in the area also started building multi-billion dollar projects.

At least they are putting their money into projects with long term outcomes. My town sat on it's oil investments & now has nothing to show for it. As the oil can't be reached easily & is no longer a priority. The first high-rise In NYC was The Tower Building build in 1889.
It wasn't very big at 11 stories but was the building block which helped make NYC what it is. The fact my town couldn't invest in a new public library or an arts Center. Believing the oil would always be there & will do it later.
Now we may never get that opertunity. Debui understands that the risk/reward assessment is greater then the alternative. Which is smart & foward thinking. It's what will make them a strong canadate for the City of the future model others should follow.
If we even have the b*** to do so & not become a relic of the past. All the more power to Debui here. If it creates jobs, investment & better quality of life then all the more power to them. We can't even build a Hypersonic missile so who are we to judge lol.
