  • The metro has always been one of the most efficient transportation systems, and due to technological innovations coming from year to year, the metros will also be modern, much faster, more design, and better equipped for potential technological problems. Self-driving metros are already present, such as the Sydney metro or the Dubai metro. In today’s video, we’re going to look at the 10 modern metro systems of the future:

In Warsaw, there will be huge, 2050 5 line metro project. It will include expansions of M2 to Ursus and Marymont and launch of three lines: M3, M4 and M5. M3 will run from National Stadium to Gocław and Okęcie. M4 will run from Wilanów to Tarchomin. M5 will run from Skorosze to Wawer.

Ottawa resident here. Our train is not modern, it's a pathetic joke. I see a lot of videos like this have the O-Train featured. It's kinda mind boggling to me that it gets featured because it's honestly one of the most poorly executed transit systems on the planet. Yes it looks futuristic from a distance, but if you actually ride the thing it's basically a half assed tram on a metro track that was not designed well. It's also slower than a turtle because the trains are so badly designed, they can't go around curves properly. Yes, we built a metro line that can't turn. The station concrete is cracking, the city centre tunnel is flooding and the pinnacle station at Rideau Street smells like sewage, and the city is too lazy to do anything about it. The extensions are a tiny glimmer of hope as the station quality is looking like it's much better but the original line is quite possibly the worst executed transit project in decades.

Not sure that the trains are the problem : they're closely derived from the ones that serve more than a million people every day in Paris without any issues.
The rails, however, seem to be pretty bad in geometry, which is the recipe for failure.
They seem to have ordered trains with slightly stiffened bogies and put them on badly laid tracks, there's not much mystery as to why it doesn't work well...

Judging by the Tel Aviv one info here is not very accurate.
The video is talking about the Tel Aviv metro but shows the map of the light rail.
Tel Aviv is not that big (~480,000 and ~51km2) as in Israel they rarely merge municipalities so it´s more of the Tel Aviv greater area, called "Gush Dan"
The map shown is of the first stage of 3 light rail lines, the red (that opened a week ago), the green and the purple (which are under construction) with some underground sections, mostly in Tel Aviv. The 3 lines have a total 0f 90 km, 139 stations and they cover the central parts of "Gush Dan" This plan was creates in the 90's and had many delays before construction started in 2015.
The metro plan includes 3 fully automated lines covering the whole of "Gush Dan"+ covering 150km with 109 stations. It is in the final approval stage and the estimated cost $40 billion (it was never $3 billion) but it will most likely be closer $55 billion. Financing will include direct government investment but mostly through densifying construction rights around stations that will yield property taxes.
The 3d rendering shown has nothing to do with this project, It's of the light rail that will connect the city of Haifa with Nazareth and is now under construction.

There seem to be inaccuracies in the data provided for the Tel Aviv metro project. Additionally, the maps and videos presented appear to be incorrect. The map showcased depicts the LRT lines instead of the metro lines, and the video showcases the LRT project from Haifa to Nazareth instead of the Tel Aviv metro project. For clarity, it should be noted that the Tel Aviv metro project spans 150 km and includes 109 underground stations.

I dont understand you mentionned Ottawa but not the master engineering mega project of the fully automated Express metro in Montreal at 10 billion $ . the deepest metro station in North america in the heart of the Mount Royal. Connected to the airport under the runways with respect to preserve the wet land and biodiversity . Montreal is # 1 most sustainable and green city in the world with only green energy and the greenest . Montreal is a city of 5 million with the best public transport in North america. The REM( réseau express métropolitain ) is using the most unique and advanced engineering technology and the assistance of spécialisé from 80 different countries . The first phase is now on service over the epic Champalin bridge, the busiest bridge in CAnada with more than 80 million crossings per year.
