So many years ago I heard this set for the first time. I have had it in my digital music collection for ages. I have been playing guitar for 4 years now and can't believe I am learning this stuff. Amazing. Thank you so much

The best hands down you can name guitarists like Steve Vai, or Dimebag Darrel, Gary Moore, or Nunu Betancourt, or Buckethead, or Eric Clapton, or Keith Richards, or Eddie Hazel, or Mick Mars, or b.b. king, or name anybody but NONE OF THEM had the soul that Prince had im telling you ive heard it all and each time i listen to Prince it's just different you feel it in your soul..

What amazes me is he has parts where it is total improvisation, but is more smooth than most musicians could wish for with unlimited preparation.

Hello, I'd like to ask what is probably a silly question. At 1:32 he goes from the Gm chord to the Aflat major to the Bflat major chord. The song is in Bflat major and the Aflat chord is not in that scale. He does that Gm to Aflat to Bflat again at the end... What scale is he using? I would've thought he would go to the Gm-A-Bflat instead of Aflat. Thanks in advance.

To quote so many musicians- if a solo doesn’t tell you a story, whats the point. So many can shred on the guitar on demos and recordings- which if any do you recall? Unless it told a story. Whether it is Lester Young on shoe shine boy, or Van halen on Beat It, or the beautiful intro of “Thugz Mansion “with Michael Herring. Long list- and of course Ted. Its story telling. Thanks Ted- and thanks for the uploading.
