​@@PlayLikeTheGreatscom I think while your description is a bit contradicting, it does make a lot of sense . The main riff in this video is just clipping ever so slightly but is also obviously a lead tone.

@@hophopkins3526 Yes, it does! Also, there is an overdrive-like compression to the tone, so I suppose the clean signal runs through some heavy-duty preamp for such a mid-range richness.
