You are a wonderful actress…voice and all! The sound of the train was so relaxing! Close to 50 years ago, I enlarged a simple frog pattern to over 4 feet long. (No computer!) My oldest niece grew up playing with real live frogs, so when she was ready to go to college, I made her a large frog to take with her. I used bright rainbow striped fabric, so it was unusual! She loved it and that’s what mattered! I wish I could find the pattern. I think mine had an open mouth with a fat tongue. I filled it with Polyester batting. Did I miss a video showing your long arm quilting machine? Did you know that you can get a little rubber attachment for your TL foot pedal to keep the cutter from working? I find it easier if I turn mine sideways. That way I don’t accidentally cut instead of sew! Love your frog, your costume, and all of your tutorials! Happy Halloween!

Marnae when I was in high school A lady I knew made these frogs and I took mine to school. I sold so many of them that the lady got tired of making them. Imagine large brown paper bags full of them several times over! The girls all loved them even the teachers bought them! Have fun with them!

My frog in paper did not work. I have found putting your frog in a cup helps when trying to fill with rice. I would use the machine to sew the hole shut. I don't know how you you do that. So amazing you push onward and upwards. God Bless you. I watch Kayla on Kayla Llama mama you tube has 3 immune disease and has a feeding tube bag and only has one finger and a thumb on one hand and just a couple on the other and she crochets. Has so much pain. She keeps busy such and amazing woman. She can't hardly eat anything because of the scherderma disease. She has lupus and renaud diseqase. I love her and so positive. Her husband is such a nice man too.

Hilarious! What a TREAT!!

Whatever reason, when you made a chalk outline of your frog, I kept giggling. Years ago, they used to draw a chalk outline of dead people...and my mind instantly went to that! Good heavens, I really need to get out more.😅❤ You make patterns like I do. Sometimes, I draw the whole thing, but, to get both sides the same, this is the way to do it. I've made about 100 quilts, some for dolls, antique cradles, all the way up to my queen size bed, I've never used a pattern. I've made my girls Halloween costumes, and dress up clothes for make believe, and never used a pattern. I did use a pattern for their clothes, but I would trade pattern pieces to make them different. I was a little embarrassed one day. A Mommy from preschool said she went all over looking for clothes like my girls. She asked me where I had purchased them. I said my dining room table! I also would go to the thrift store and find clothes with the fabric I needed. Once in awhile I would go to Walmart for fabric, and special occasions, Joanne Fabrics (armed with coupons). 😊❤
