Thank goodness for the many medical advances and devices that are available! (I'm absolutely amazed at how you can cut fabric, sew it and manipulate it with one hand! ) So happy you have a new foot that can accommodate all your shoes and flip flops! It gives you the options you've been missing!❤❤❤❤

My wife and I first met you 23 to 24 years ago at the Coach Stop Inn. I never saw you as handicapped; just a someone who didn't have a left arm - kind of like a descriptor, like you having blonde hair. The time at Halloween when you were in costume with your left arm in a sling really threw us off. We couldn't figure out who it was because we had accepted you as yourself. You are an attractive, strong and resilient women. You fully understand that while you may not be able to change your situation, you can change how you react to it. I became an amputee in 1969 when I was barely 3 yrs old. I wandered into the field near our home where my daddy was mowing corn. We lived on a small dairy farm. My dad accidently ran over me with the corn cutter. It took my left arm & partial right foot. Needless to say that this was very traumatic for my father who is now 85 and still farming. He hasn't ever talked about it much as I'm sure it is a burden he has carried his whole life. He loves me and is very proud of the woman I have become. I have not ever blamed my parents for what has happened to me. I grew up to be strong. I believe that maybe I was meant to be this way because I wouldn't be who I am if I was normal.....

Oh Marnae, your studio looks so homey! You have a gift in decorating. I just have an OCD thing where everything is folded and placed in the right place. After I get going, it starts getting homey. My first husband's mother was always my friend. We went garage sailing everywhere. I decorated my apartment with our finds. I found a place where the woman bought new clothes every change of season. She wore the same size as me. I would have stylish clothes for mere pennies, as she wanted the closet space! A $100 outfit for $2.50! You have quite the eye for decorating. I too love antiques. My apartment had beautiful wood furniture, stained and varnished. You take your finds and they belong together. 😊❤ It's lovely... you are blessed, you are loved ❤
Thanks Sharon! I love bargains!! I am a thrifty shopper and I love to find gently used item & antiques. My clothes are mostly shopped from salvation army too. I found a pair of cowgirl boots about a month ago that were my size for $25 bucks like new! I looked them up to see what they were new...$175 bucks! I was so happy!! We could have fun bargain shopping together! 😁

I can’t think of anything different to say that hasn’t been said! I am amazed at your attitude and your accomplishments!? I honestly did not know that you had any kind of foot problems! You certainly don’t walk like it! I thought you were 37 or 38. You just look and move that way! I wish I could move half as well! Love your new home and your sewing studio! You and Jim deserve it! You both work very hard! I had just started watching a few months before the fire! Even then you amazed me! I liked your special tool to help you with cutting fabrics! You are uniquely creative! Hello Sherry, Thank you for your awesome comment & for tuning in to my videos. I want to be very open to my viewers about who I am as I have put myself out to the world to see. My accident occurred as a barely 3 year old child. My parents were dairy farmers & my dad was mowing corn near our home. I wandered into the field wanting my daddy & he accidently ran over me. This is sad & traumatic event but I survived it. My father, who is now 85 has rarely talked about my accident. I'm sure it is a burden that he has carried his whole life. I adore my dad & I know that he is proud of the woman that I have become. I could probably write a book about my life.....this is just the beginning. At my age now, I believe I found a passion with purpose that will hopefully inspire. Life is very unpredictable but we all can overcome in some way. I choose to be happy with what I have been dealt with in this life although I am very human and have my moments 😊 Thank you for reaching out to me ❤️

Hello & Thank you 😊 My story is kind of a sad one but I had a farming accident when I was barely 3 yrs old in 1969. My parents were dairy farmers. My mother took a nap & I wandered out of the house & into a nearby field where my father was mowing corn. He accidently ran over me....I lost my complete left arm & partial right foot. Needless to say, this was very traumatic to my father & he rarely ever talks about it. He is now 85 & still farming. I remember almost everything about my accident except pain. I was in the hospital for quite a while & was also sent to a children's hospital in Elizabeth town in PA. I was a resilient kid. I don't think it affected me much other than being the weirdo growing up in school....I have adapted to everything I have wanted to do although some things have been a challenge as I have learned to improvise 😊

As a rehab nurse I totally understand about getting insurance coverage, or not! We fight for months, or years for any persons with a disabilities. I can’t think of anything different to say that hasn’t been said! I am amazed at your attitude and your accomplishments!? I honestly did not know that you had any kind of foot problems! You certainly don’t walk like it! I thought you were 37 or 38. You just look and move that way! I wish I could move half as well! Love your new home and your sewing studio! You and Jim deserve it! You both work very hard! I had just started watching a few months before the fire! Even then you amazed me! I liked your special tool to help you with cutting fabrics! You are uniquely creative! Enjoy your new foot! I am amazed and would be painting those toenails every other day! Someday, when you feel like it, I would like to hear how you lost your arm and part of your foot. I want to be very open to my viewers about who I am as I have put myself out to the world to see. My accident occurred as a barely 3 year old child. My parents were dairy farmers & my dad was mowing corn near our home. I wandered into the field wanting my daddy & he accidently ran over me. This is sad & traumatic event but I survived it. My father, who is now 85 has rarely talked about my accident. I'm sure it is a burden that he has carried his whole life. I adore my dad & I know that he is proud of the woman that I have become. I could probably write a book about my life.....this is just the beginning.
At my age now, I believe I found a passion with purpose that will hopefully inspire. Life is very unpredictable but we all can overcome in some way. I choose to be happy with what I have been dealt with in this life although I am very human and have my moments 😊

My story is kind of a sad one but I had a farming accident when I was barely 3 yrs old in 1969. My parents were dairy farmers. My mother took a nap & I wandered out of the house & into a nearby field where my father was mowing corn. He accidently ran over me....I lost my complete left arm & partial right foot. Needless to say, this was very traumatic to my father & he rarely ever talks about it. He is now 85 & still farming.
I remember almost everything about my accident except pain. I was in the hospital for quite a while & was also sent to a children's hospital in Elizabeth town in PA. I was a resilient kid. I don't think it affected me much other than being the weirdo growing up in school....I have adapted to everything I have wanted to do although some things have been a challenge as I have learned to improvise 😊

As a rehab nurse I totally understand about getting insurance coverage, or not! We fight for months, or years for any persons with a disabilities.
