Btw, ABA has tournaments now without cos. So do some others. Here is the BFL rule: “Any boater that, in the judgment of the tournament director, operates the boat in such a manner that unfairly handicaps his/her co-angler and any co-angler who unfairly handicaps his/her boater may be disqualified for that day.” And no, just because I fish as a boater in BFLs etc does not make me a pro. I have a day job. And FLW/MLF has always described BFL as top competition for “weekend anglers.”

Wow. I had not seen this before. I agree with Randy on some stuff, but this is ridiculous. I’ve fished BFLs for years. I’ve had great co-anglers and a few morons. I’ve schooled them and they’ve occasionally schooled me, and that has happened to everyone I know, including guys who could easily be pros. Randy, if you don’t want to fish with a co, don’t fish BFL or Toyota. Pretty simple.

So in Randy's world the co angler should wait til he fishes a piece of cover 12 ways too sunday then the co angler can fish he's should just stop fishing because he whines so much about everything .

I'm not too crazy about FFS because I haven't learned it yet. I don't think it's too hard. Randy Blaukat thinks older people can't learn it because they didn't grow up playing video games. I'm older and I can learn it no problem.

What has fishing become? It used to be one of the most respected, fun, educational sports ever. People just need to stop bitching about everything. Are some people just jealous of the way things are now because they make more money?

Why do you fish the tournaments with co anglers?

Qualify for the elites or Bass Pro Tour and you won't have to worry about a co

Lowrance just dropped the 9 inch Eagle eye 👁️. It’s part of their lower budget Eagle lineup. For less than a thousand dollars you get a unit and transducer that has foward mode down mode and regular sonar all in one. So it won’t be long foward facing sonar will be a standard part of all units and transducers.

this dude clearly doesn't read the very short rules posted because it takes less than 5 minutes to go to the rules and see its clearly written : Boaters may not request that the co-angler not fish. So I get the reference and trying to get a different perspective but there is one MASSIVE difference between steroids and FFS…steroids have always been illegal and new advances to sonar technology even in its infancy was never illegal.
