How does one come up with the 400% quieter? 50% quieter would make me think half the sound and 100% quieter makes me think silent.

Someone mentioned they drastically reduced the quality on this and downgraded to a 7 speed system.

Question for you. I just installed this and got the Max Haul lock (Thank you!). I notice that the upright bar that holds the frame wobbles quite a bit. Any recommendation for handling this? (To note, I just installed the rack and haven't driven with it yet, so maybe it's fine?)

Awesome video, bud! I would recommend not carrying a water bladder because of the weight. Better off carrying a filter with a dirty and clean bag. Keep them coming.

I've been looking for a foldable ebike that could fit in my car and I think this one is it. The things I like about this bike is the 1000 watt motor and the fact that it can carry up to 400 pounds. That's great for heavier riders like myself. I weigh 300 pounds. I also like the idea that it has a folding frame. That means I can take it anywhere I want to go ride. I live in Maine and I have plenty of ideas of places I'd like to go for a ride. I'll be looking into buying one of these for the upcoming riding season next spring.

Hey Scott, you have once again motivated me to get off of the couch and onto my e-bike. When motorcycling in our suburban Chicago winters, up top I typically go with a wool underlayer, a puffer midlayer, and a Gore-Tex outer layer to stop the wind and in case I get rained on. Legs are protected by a wool underlayer and Gore-Tex pants if it’s really cold. I have also found the lined work pants from Costco to be a toasty, roomy, and inexpensive solution when e-biking. Wool socks and boots are a must, as are warm gloves, a balaclava, and a full-faced helmet. I use pinlocks to prevent visor fogging, but am anxious to try the stick-on anti-fog layer you suggest. Ride on my friend!

Nice review - as always. I have one of the Lectric XP 1.0 bikes that I bought from my neighbor and this might be a nice upgrade. Thanks again for all the info you provide. One question, how do you keep warm on a 40 degree ride? I find that when it’s colder than maybe the mid 50’s it can be pretty uncomfortable with the wind chill effect.
