In May 2022 I set out from Chepstow on the Severn estuary to walk the Offas Dyke National Trail. This is a 177 mile trail through the Welsh Marches following fragments of Offas Dyke to conclude at Prestatyn on the north Wales coast. I backpack along the route and complete the trail in 11 days. this is an account of my journey. Part 1 covers the route between Chepstow and Brompton Bridge.
