A great video, a lot better weather than here in Cumbria at the moment 👍 Looks a wonderful area to bikepack in.
Thanks for taking us along, ATB Alistair 👍

Ha ha! - I was definitely stretched on this trip. I thought I’d never get to the top of that 2nd pass…but I’d probably struggle up Hartside too!!Cheers..

Thanks for the video very enjoyable Morocco is a lovely place to cycle- I am in the process of planning a trip same route out of Marakesh and hope to stay at Tadart which you went through on day two did you spot any accommodation?

Hi There - I honestly don’t recall Taddart in too much detail - lots of places there to eat (I had Lunch there) but not sure about lodgings. I stayed further back towards Marrakech, a garage and restaurant on the roadside which also had a motel style annexe. I hope you have a great trip…

Is this the same bike as the montanas vacias except with drop bars. If so what did you think of switching to alt style bar?

Hi There - No, I used a gravel style bike in Morocco (Ribble CGR Ti) and a hard tail MTB in the Montanas Vacias (Sonder Broken Road, Ti). I do like the alt style bar but either bike would have been okay on both these routes, though a bit more tarmac in Morocco so I took the road style bike. Thanks for watching and your comment 👍👍

Did I see you cycling today on the Isle of Cumbrae? You were past before I could react. Spoilt a bit by the haar.

Hi - No, not me though it sounds like a good place to cycle

Why don't you use e bike, and carry about four batteries?

Hi - I think the logistics of flying with an e-bike could be problematic plus it was my first trip of the year so I wasn’t in the best of fitness. I think e-bikes are great but I think I can manage (just!) for a couple more years. Thanks for watching - best wishes 👍

Hi Donald - it is. Both places have their merits and I thought I’d give bikepacking a try somewhere warm this time of year. Thanks for watching..
