Thank you! Yes it is beautiful. Nobody seems to know how to get a permit though so I cant understand how! Unless they rode in from another country with it…
Really enjoyed the way you used a variety of camera angles in your video, including interesting close-up footage. I'm looking forward to the video of your next adventure👍
Great, honest film. I'm off to bike in the same area in a couple of weeks time (for ±3 weeks). The video covered soe useful insights... much appreciated! 🙂👍
Really enjoyed your film - thank you! I'm planning a bike/packrafting trip to Morocco (Atlas Mountains and lakes & Sahara Desert) in November 2023 - be interested in Atlas Mountain access points and mapping options/general advice; many thanks in advance 🙂
Thanks Richard! Sounds like an epic trip. Very jealous! The route I took up to Ouikaimden could be an option? Ski resort at the top so might be snowy in November? Let me know how you get on
Fabulous place and nicely filmed. I've had a few walking trips in the Atlas and also the Rif. Really good to listen to your description about how it all played out for you as a bikepacking trip.
Hopefully you liked your ride in Morocco. The rif mountains are also beautiful. About flying the drone, you need to ask the authorities for an authorization, most of the time they will authorize you
@@Cycling366 i hope you get to go back and finish your trip. Im from Agadir and avid cyclist. I recommend doing a trip from Safi to Agadir along the coast.
the drones are legal in Morocco my friend and you can fly them around the country easily. but You just need a permit and you can take it at the airport .... no problem next time the video is great
@@Cycling366 No, on the contrary, it's easy.... I watch Moroccan travelers and foreigners travelers , they use it a lot on videos this is one of them ruclips.net/video/U2Kt_GwQfTs/видео.html
I beg to differ. I tried for weeks and weeks to get a permit and there was nobody responding to enquiries. I use the drone all over the world and it definitely isn’t easy to sort in Morocco.
Great video. Getting unwell is part of the game and plan B aways has to be available. You did well, no excuses needed Think about arranging meetings with your subscribers in different areas in UK and we can have a ride together?? 😁 Keep going. All the best.
super video - shame about your health. I visted Morocco a few years ago & kept to bottled water, even for brushing my teeth. No health issues to report :)
the quality of tape water in Morocco really went down hill these past 10 years, and even more these past 3 years with the worst drought the country saw in 50years, nowadays even Moroccans only drink botteled water (depends on the regions, some places still have nice water, others not so lucky and gets water from far away dams or desalination plants of sea water )
Back luck with the illness mate, I went to Morocco in November and very nearly died of dysentery! Don't drink the tap water and pick your food wisely. If you have a bottle which has good filters you can sometimes get away with it

great video , loved it ! never ever drink tap water in morroco only drink mineral water! as i have travelled many times and i always was warned not to touch tap water. they been suffering from droughts for many years aswell
Welcome to Morocco For information, you can obtain a drone photography license through a press card that you can get easily As a journalist on social media Or the other solution is to use it without any authorities, which is common, but if you are arrested, only the drone will be seized, there are no difficulties or anything else, and often only the scenes are scanned and the drone is returned to its owner because there are military bases A secret that Morocco does not wish to reveal
Helllo , just as a note that you should never drink tap water in another foreigner country even if the local drink it and have no problems , but you as foreigner probably you will get sick from bacteria it has that can be new to your body immune system , hope the next time will be better :D
The sign did not say the drones were illegal you just needed to declare them at the airport, the same applies here in the USA. It’s a National security thing.
You need a permit to fly one in Morocco, which is virtually impossible to obtain. If you don’t have one, it’s confiscated so it’s not like the US at all!
