what an amazing trip and brilliant video - i am booked to cycle across the high atlas mountains in November 2021 - providing we are aloud to travel by then - so this video has wet my appetite - many thanks for sharing!
Das war einer unserer ersten Bikepacking Trips und wir haben sicher nicht optimal gepackt. Allerdings waren die Temperaturen auch zwischen -2 und 25°C.
We were also socializing with locals of course. We were (a bit) in a rush, because we booked our return flights already and thought that it would be more easy to do 100km/ day before we have been there.
Let me add to 8-bar's response, as I just got back from biking Morocco: 1) Because you never know what you need. (For example, I brought a water filtration system and 25' piece of string to get water from wells, but never needed them, as I was able to always buy bottled water, when I needed it. (I also carried more water than they seem to be carrying.)) 2) Some things you bring you will not need. (My bike is old, my spoke lengths are uncommon. So I need to travel with different-length extra spokes. I also need to travel with hardware to remove the cassette cluster, if a rear spoke on that side breaks. I've never needed this hardware, but if I do some day, it won't be available in the towns and villages near where I'm biking.) 3)They're traveling with camera equipment (probably more than the iPhone I traveled with.) They seem to be traveling pretty light...
That film proves you don't need a drone to be good. Thanks for inspiration!
Great trip, 8 days was a bit snug for this type of adventure. Well done on the video!
Cracking video mate , I m jealous I need to plan to go there next year

Amazing views, inspiring ....
perfect for lunch break
Good filming ......lots of risks being taken though on the downhills ...take more care....🤷🏼♂️😉
Welcome to morocco
Amazing, what bike models did you use?
Hi, I would like to visit Atlas Mtns with my bike, thinking of the begining of the next year which month was it when you went there? cheers.
Why are people spec-ing 50/34 road gearing for this?! Ultegra crank at 3:00.
Absolut geile Sache...Meineserachtens hattet Ihr zu viel Gepäck mit...Hattet Ihr schon beim Atlasmountainrace teilgenommen?

Ditch the lycra
Agree look way to western.... 🤷🏼♂️
Yep agree, totally inappropriate clothing for this ride. They look like Pro riders who have got lost.
What´s your hurry, what are you runnung for - do it slower and you can see much more!
Why is it that all bikepackers seem to be in a great rush?
@@shihtzuexpert3142 They cannot socialze with the locals, only the challenge seems to be important

OMG and I just read about two Norwegian Students who were killed in morocco while hiking. D=
Nichts für die Kinder, nur lumpige 8bar Aufkleber 🤨👎🏼...
Hab ich auch bemerkt 😢
Good trip but why you take soo much gear with you
Because we were camping outside and the temperature was between -2 and 25°C.
