Well done,! One of the better films of the PW. I’m resuming the way from Horton in ribblesdale in 10 days ( having been interrupted by COVID last year) and this has given me a lot of food for thought, Thankyou

Smashing that Andrew really enjoyed it. Great insight to the paths which look to have made the beginning a lot more enjoyable. Memories of me being swallowed up in moss bogs 40+ years ago after only a few days and extremely wet blistery feet, needless to say we didnt complete it. Very well done a total credit to you. Looking forward to the next part.

Thanks Dawne glad it was enjoyable- I kept thinking you and Greg must have had a serious time of it over the unpaved moorland. The paving makes those sections a ‘pleasure’ to walk. Also the equipment, boots etc are much better than when you both attempted it. Still a long way though!....👍

Very enjoyable Andrew , some stunning scenery along the way . However it did look rather bleak across that moss from Tan Hill ! May has been a rather damp squib roll on June for was some sunshine and warmth.
I remember the tv series with Hannah Hauxwell and yes she lived a very simple life . Looking forward to watching the final one . atb Dave

Thanks Dave, glad you enjoyed it, and that you also remember Hannah Hauxwell - interesting to see where she lived. For sure we could do with some better weather for June as I was a bit fed up of the cold/wet by the end of the PW! All the best with your adventures...👍

Andrew great video not much fun in the rain I know, can you tell me please what weight was in your pack when you started, and did you have any problems with re-supply of food.

Hi Lucy - I’m afraid I didn’t weigh my pack for this trip but it was quite heavy in retrospect (I carried much less on the subsequent Cape Wrath trail). Resupply wasn't too bad though I carried enough to keep me going till Hebden Bridge, then Gargrave, Hawes etc where there are coops and Spar shops. I also enjoyed the odd meal out in some of these places. You need to have decent supplies for the last few days up to the finish in Kirk Yetholm as after Middleton in Teasdale there isn’t much. Hope that helps - great trail, hope you enjoy it
