Come with us as we share with you an awesome camp just outside Sydney and located on The Hawkesbury River. If you love nature, native animals and fishing, well this place has it all.
Situated between Hornsby and Gosford and surrounded by the bush, this is a lovely little gem of a campground which even has a boat ramp for you to launch to tinnies.

@@SusanTwining I understand your comment about the price @ $120 for 2 nights 2 people seems outrageous for camping. For us it’s so close to home that we actually saved on petrol costs for this trip and being able to take our boat was a huge bonus - since having the caravan, we rarely get to take the boat away as we need 2 vehicles. Thank you for your support, hopefully I can share more recipes in the future. I’m thrilled that I’ve been able to make available another 30 recipes via Vol 3 Best Camp Recipes. Cheers Marg

@@shaddonaghue thanks Shad, so many little gems, this place is definitely a good one with a boat and you can hire them from The Anchor in Spencer which I’m sure they’d drive down to Greenmans to drop off. @@DarrylScotman sorry the no dogs doesn’t work for you guys but it’s understandably due to the wildlife, mainly the free roaming peacocks and peahens. As for the price, we can justify it due to what the location & place offer us plus being close to where we live we save on travel costs. For us it’s a beautiful riverside home away from home. Hi guys, keep up the good work. I went to Greenmans a few years ago with 2 other families. It was extremely hot when we went. The pool water had turned dark green so they closed it and the toilets were not working (they blocked up and wouldn’t flush) as they had water issues. Ended up having to drive away from the park each day to get some relief. It looks a lot better in your video. After our experience there we said we would never go back and we haven’t. Staff were under the pump and were no help either. Hopefully it was a one off for them. Like I said looks better now in your video.
@@johnhills8593 hopefully it was a one off John, as we’ve never had an issue with the place in the past couple of decades. Our boys and their cousins used to jump off the pontoon for a swim near the boat ramp but we also did have our boat. Shame you had a bad experience. This recent visit, the place was immaculate as was the pool, hopefully they’ve found the right balance with caretakers. Thanks for sharing your feedback. All the best, Cheers Marg

Hi Deb, I know the legend of George but haven't ever sighted him. Greenmans have had peacocks on their property for decades and to see the peacock with their feathers displayed is incredible. Beautiful little spot, last time we were there a few years ago I got spiked in the foot by a catfish I’d caught(bloody painful). Keep up the good work. I did watch the yarn cast where they couldn’t get your name right. 🍻🥂
