- On the eve of the October Long Weekend 2024 and being in the middle of the school holidays, we decided to look for a place to camp. National Parks were fully booked and we knew that some of our favourite free camps would be busy, so opted to try a Hipcamp property which would give us the space we like when camping. Surrounded by stunning lush and green countryside with access to a deep water river, we found a property called Boytrang Camp. The property was inland from Port Macquarie, 30 minutes from Wauchope, in a place called Pipeclay. It was a lovely country drive in and we had a fabulous time relaxing, camp cooking and stargazing.
Looks like another great spot was found. Your artwork was amazing so talented.

Love the cossies, they work really well. You have a great channel, the locations and cooking. I remember my mum's egg and bacon pie and one she called Impossible Pie haha. This looked like a beautiful property.

Great video again. That Hipcamp looks stunning. I remember my mother making a similar pie when we were young using Spam. Noticed your bruised finger nail, looks nasty, hope it heals well. Cheers Sharyn
Haha I remember spam but thankfully my mum used the ham option in a tin instead. This family pie must have been big in the 70's & 80's, and my boys also grew up enjoying it.
I was going to put something about my thumb which I accidentally slammed in a safe door at work and, annoyingly, it's taking ages to heal.
