Happy camping everyone!
Hi fellow travellers, keep up with stone painting it is fresh, personal and a representation of your love for people and Australia, no to the humbugs!
@@russellwyborn3667 thanks Russell, appreciate the positive response, I really do enjoy painting and find it very relaxing.
Don’t worry about what other people say about you painting stones I think it’s fantastic if it keeps you happy an I’m pretty sure most of your subscribers like it we are all different thank god if we were all the same life would be boring keep up your great videos guys
@@stevencondron9355 awwww thanks Steve, appreciate that and so pleased you are enjoying our RUclips videos.
Thumbs up to stone painting and also that soup!! Simple and delicious. Also loved the location. Well done 👍
Awesome content and delivery, so visual and easy listening. Please keep up the stone painted treasures and referencing the old treats we grew up on with a new twist. JBG
Hi Marg & Steve, Good to get your updates. Hope you are feeling chipper after your op and the stitches are now history!! What a load of bunkum about your painted rocks - please don't stop painting them (I would love to find one) Some folk seem to enjoy taking the joy out of simple pleasures - what harm would it do and you love people finding them as much as we would love to connect with Marg finding a hand painted pebble or rock- there is even a Facebook page devoted to this hobby. Loved your latest video and WOW have we had some rain in NSW and that mud!!! but a beautiful spot all the same and as usual you made the best of it, thankyou. After 25 years of being absent from the Hunter we are being re-introduced to it by you and Steve all over again. Now to get Volume 2 of your cookbook :) fabulous work Cheers, Elle xx
@@elleb7158 oh wow Elle, what lovely positive words, truly appreciate your kindness. It was slushy to get into but wouldn’t be like that always and it was such a lovely surprise to see how good the spot was to camp by the river. Cheers Marg
Really enjoyed this episode guys, looked like a lovely spot with yummy cooking, thankyou!!
Keep painting the rocks, the kids would love finding them 😊

Rock painting herein bribie island is pretty big. Everyone enjoys finding them then rehide. Every year everyone paints lady bugs and line them along the waterfront to break a record from the yr before

Thanks Julie, I was pleased with my dough and the different ways you can use it, perfect for stews & soups.

@@Raznwal Oh wow, when does that happen?
Congrats, another great video. Looks like a real adventure getting into that camp site. Cheers
@@sharyns.shenanigans thanks Sharyn, that’s all part of the fun, we loved the drive in. So much rain of late but hopefully for the owners it may start drying out soon, such a perfect place to camp.
DW Quality meat is very nice butcher. Their meat is so nice. Miss them at Stocklands Forster 😊
@@traceylumsden6569 Hi Tracey, we bought a few things to cook whilst camping and also take home. Loved the jalapeno sausages & lamb cutlets, so many delicious things to choose from. Hope to visit again one day and stock up.
We love your videos!! But I was pretty shocked when I realised your hipcamp was at my neighbours place across the road! 🥰🥰
@@jodifinnegan8660 haha wow, how lucky are you Jodi to live in such a magic location. You’re also very lucky to have such lovely neighbours. Living in a rural setting is what we dream of. Cheers Marg
We are very lucky Marg! Such a beautiful part of the world… you even featured my other neighbours cows. That brown dairy cow in your video is Meg, she would’ve come over for a pat & a piece of bread. 🤭🥰
@@jodifinnegan8660 you know what, we actually had a feeling that she wanted to say hello, she was constantly watching us. A cow with charisma, that’s the coolest.
Such well looked after animals, glad you enjoyed your stay in this area!
Hi there, congrats on your new book/s they look great. I am wondering if u would he happy to share on where to find info to do a digital book. (An idea I have, but not a cookbook)
Many thanks and all the best for no. 3 and more.
Kerrie
Thanks Kerrie. I created a document, saved it and uploaded it to make it available for download. Have you clicked on the link to download a recipe book?
Thanks very much for the info. Much appreciated. No I haven't downloaded the recipe book yet.
You keep painting stones, it’s not like you’re upsetting the environment or anything 😂
True and I’m sure the paint would wash off over time.
Where can I get me some of those bowl cozy’s they look really good
@@denton3385 the bowl cosy’s are great, especially for soup but great for any hot meal. I actually made ours. Cheers Marg
Mumma Gibbo keep painting your rocks. Tell them to mind there own business.
@@philmeyer118 thanks Phil, I think I will hide a painted stone next adventure. Appreciate all the positive response.
We are heading to a place that you recommend in 3wks. Gibbos corner, I might catch that elusive lizard.
@@philmeyer118 oh that’s awesome, Brian the owner is so chilled and has such a lovely property. I hope you do have good luck with the fishing, its perfect conditions for flathead there. Happy camping! Cheers Marg
Please paint the stones. Nothing wrong with that at all I think the one that told you to stop is just a jealous miserable soul, having harmless fun doesn’t hurt anyone
Lovely private spot! I'm curious to know the person's reason for you to stop painting the stones? Too many spoil sports in this day and age. It's part of who you are. Will they ask you to stop cooking next?
@@mj2745 I hope I don’t get asked to not cook, that would definitely spoil a passion I love.
@@gibbosroadtripadventures No I hope not too! Poohey to the Karens Marg, do whatever floats your boat. You two are very conscious of the environment. It's NOTB.
