@@dianesoper708 haha sorry to get your heart racing, Steve thrives on a little 4 wheel adventure. Appreciate your kind comments and I’m thrilled that you are enjoying our road trips. Cheers Marg
Thanks Sarah, in hindsight I could have culled this episode more but we were just so thrilled with the location. So many more gems to discover & share.
wow what a pretty town Dungog is ❤ loving your recipes , there was a small clip background music of a lady singing was that you ? if so you have a beautiful voice
Hey guys I might be too early but that cooker looks good. I've only got a thousand cooking apparatuses. You one might be a game changer or a divorse maker.
@@gibbosroadtripadventures my GG Grandfather David Sean came from Scotland, bought over by Bishop Tyrell to be a headmaster or teacher at Dungog. I still have to get myself to the museum to see if they have records.
@@peneloperobertson2803 we were on a private riverside site, just ask the owner when you book via Hipcamp. They don’t allow too many groups at one time, so it’s perfect if you don’t like to be around others when you camp. We loved it.
Hi Diane, I just noticed this message, apologies for the late response. I have a pair of waterproof sneakers we bought from BCF (from memory) and they have been excellent. In WA my rock shoes saved me climbing gorges, then wadding through water to get to the next point. Without something on my feet, I think I'm a big wuss because my feet seem to be so sensitive so with rock shoes I feel I can go anywhere and not worry about what I'm treading on. Cheers Marg
Hi There, in answer to your question, we have 2x120 ah, AGM batteries, 200w rooftop solar panel and occasionally use a 150w portable solar panel. We also have a 2000w inverter for Marg’s Frozen Margaritas & for charging camera gear. Cheers Steve
Loving this. I have been watching nearly all day. Had to take my blood pressure in a couple. You both are so wonderful together. So adventurous 😁💜💙

Wow Dungog, went there in 83 when my Dad worked of the Dam there. Camp spot looks amazing. Hipcamp is the way to go.
There's definitely some gems with Hipcamp and it's a great way to avoid the camping crowds.
@gibbosroadtripadventures hope to see you when I find good land to set up for hipcamp lifestyle travellers.

@@ozziekate07 oh wow thank you. I might have to watch this again to identify the voice. 🤔
thanks for the great info, looks a lovely area.
It was a lovely spot and the owners were so nice and accommodating. We totally recommend this Hipcamp. Thanks for watching! 😊

Haha I hope not a divorce maker Ray. As long as an apparatus gives you the joy to cook, I think it’s worth it. 🤣
At least Dungog is close for me. 😃
@@dianesoper708 not too far for us as well and a lovely humble location.

Have you got those water shoes from Big W to walk in the river in the rocks. So much easier
