I won a tease guitar from the searching for tone channel. It was shipped in nothing but one ply with a styro neck rest. When I said anything to the channel, or torsten who owns the company I was sent an invoice for the full price on my PayPal!

I forgot to comment on this one lol. I love the Re-boxing concept! Great way to prepare to sell something, make a video, and show us how you store guitars long term. I never heard of people using plastic wrap, but it makes a lot of sense. The Mosrite shape is not everyone’s cup of tea, but I don’t think they’re ugly as people think- there are so many worse guitar shapes. The double bevel on this example is quite nice, actually!

I bought one of these last year and really like it. It is my only hollow body guitar. I was lucky and mine came with no dings, breaks, or flaws! Considering that Amazon does not do a good job of shipping these things (usually using the manufactures box only which does not have a lot of packing material) I feel lucky! I cleaned the strings, frets, and put orange oil on the fretboard then tuned it. The intonation on mine was off by quite a bit and it stayed that way up until about three weeks ago when I finally had the courage to tweak it! I am not real experienced with intonating a guitar especially one with a floating bridge, but it was pretty easy! All I did was loosen the strings and slide the bride back and angle it just slightly. I got lucky on my first try and it is almost perfect now!

Very cool looking guitar. At some point in my life I will get my hands on one of their TE-90QM models as I really love the look of them, and I haven't had a guitar with P90's at this point. Loved the tips on storage and shipping as well.

Been giving my neice guitar lessons for the past 3 years she has been using my fender jazzmaster when she is over loves the bodystyle. Trying to set her up with a jazzmaster style guitar to take with her to college but my funds are too low, bills suck. Hope i can make this happen cause it would mean the world to her and hopefully keep her out of trouble.thanks

I have the same guitar In a plain silver and it’s definitely great for me as a beginner, I do kinda the same problem as you with the jack plug in but mine isn’t as noticeable. But this definitely amazing piece for the price.

Musiclily are pretty trustworthy parts. I used them on a couple of guitars I worked on and my friends seem very happy with them. Guyker has some great parts too. What I have done with super glossy guitars that are very bright is hit the finish with a super fine scotch brite pad in a circular motion. 0.0000 steel wool works also but make sure to take the pickups and electronics out if you use that. You can get it down to a beautiful matte or satin finish. It really softens up the finish and looks great. If you go on Reverb you can find G&B pickups from mid level ($500-$1000 level guitars) PRS, Schecter, D'angelico etc. for about $50 or less per set. I have used them in guitars I had and they are great. Keep up the good work! It's great that we can share information and learn from each other!

I scraped up enough to buy her a $25 guitar at the pawn shop and she is really trying to learn from a friend of mine who teaches. I do work on his guitars to pay him for her lessons, I'm a disabled veteran so I don't have income to get her a decent guitar but she is the most deserving person I know. Her son is a teen with oppositional defiance disorder. It's hard to watch her go through and she is trying so hard to learn the guitar so she can play the Carpenters and the Monkeys songs she loves. Hi, I'm Sean in Pennsylvania. I record music as my own background music for World of Warcraft review videos that I make. I am really missing having a guitar for melody/counter melody and sound coloring. Using midi stuff does *not* cut it sometimes. What I do is record my bass on higher register and use sound effects to "feel" like a 6 string, which has really limited application. They aren't really "songs" per se, I consider them exercises or complete components of songs. I am by no means an accomplished musician. I am dedicated to the craft of music making. I am too dang poor to buy a guitar. I can't afford any such luxury for years. If I did win a guitar, it would be put to work.. : )
