Hi, was in last giveaway. I live in connecticut. i learned how to play guitar for 3 years, Still ain’t the best. I live with allot of siblings and i’d love to get them into Guitar. I hope i can connect better with them through this, especially after some complications with life stuff we all grew up with. John from New York----I have a young neighbor (8 years old) who always looks in wonder when he sees me play the guitar. His eyes get wide as he intently watches my fingers move along the fretboard amazed at how I get those sounds (I'm really not that good, but he thinks so), especially if I use an effects pedal like delay or tremolo. I once informed him that I started taking guitar lessons when I was his age, and I could see his mind working. If I were to present him with a guitar of his own, he would flip and be so excited to begin his musical journey with me. He'd consider me a true "Guitar Hero" for sure-----LOL!
Hi, my son has been wanting another guitar. He just had his first Solo performance at church last week. He's been wanting to try different styles. He tried piano a few years ago, and didn't like it, and I was worried he wouldn't try music again, but now with his guitar and his trumpet, he's starting to find his people. We're moving this summer, and he'll have to start over again with friends. Hopefully he will find more friends with music!
Thanks for sharing Abby, that is wonderful about his church playing! I couldn't get into piano either but trumpet was my first instrument as a kid. Glad he is enjoying music it is such a wonderful way to express yourself. Best wishes with the move, I know how hard that can be.

Matthew from New Mexico, Been a hard last 5 years, Divorce, lost my business, home and my studio gear, had to live on the street and spiraled pretty hard mentally. Getting back on my feet and have been hoping to get back into writing and recording, Music has always been very therapeutic, writing and playing was an everyday event for me as it helped me focus and release some pent up emotion. After losing all my music equipment, I gave up completely and was so broken I swore I was done! Yet here I am back on my feet, and the flow of constant song ideas are never ending, So I'm not done yet. I want to pour myself back into writing and recording but starting from scratch is difficult, I will get there. Thanks for the opportunity to get a jump start back to my passion.

Craig from Painesville Ohio. I would like to enter for the school that I teach at. I work at an urban school district that does not always get funding where it is needed. At the school, we have a digital music production class that has a few guitarists. They however are in need of a decent guitar for these kids to use in class. It would be really cool to donate this guitar to them so they can perform better in class.
That is wonderful Craig, thanks for sharing. My wife teaches in an underprivileged rural school district. That would be wonderful to gift them a session guitar. Glad to have you with us 🙏

Hey great question! Check out my mod journey on the Samick Greg Bennett Malibu, I took a standard strat pickguard and customized it. In short I would use wood putty to seal old holes then drill new pilot holes where needed. I use a dremel drill press to do precise work (but have drilled plenty by hand too). The key is work slowly. Pushing too hard will lead to cracks. Let the sharpness of the bit do the work take your time and you should be good to go. Also yes I have the DST400. Great idea Rev! I don’t need another guitar. I’m headed down the bass path now. Got a Fender Aerodyne P bass that’s keeping me busy. Good luck, Rev’ers!

Michael from East Texas. In the late 80's I had 25/50 LP stolen by a so called friend binging it back from a jam session we had in Alvin, TX. In 2000 I lost a 95 Studio LP and a 96 Yari 12 string to a pawn shop. Work checks were bouncing and I had to pay bills and eat. Company went other and didn't find a job in time to get them back. In 2010 I had an Ibanez double neck stolen from a friends studio by a drummer we were testing out to start a new band. My "52" H50 Harmony that was left to me by my Grandpa was destroyed in a house fire. Being disabled Navy Veteran and having a hard time maintaining steady work I've only managed to acquire 1 guitar and It's a 20th anniversary Squire Strat. I'm new to guitar, 🎸 in PA. Looking for perfect feeling n sounding guitar...n bass. If I get one I like better I'll give away a guitar I like less for whatever reason. Or eventually give one away if I get one I like less. When I was 6y/o I wanted a guitar I seen in a pawnshop on my father's visitation day. He was broke n never got it. So never got to learn or fulfill the dream. I plan to give a guitar to some random window shopper one day. Friend's daughter is getting into guitar but the heavy starcaster is horrid. Upgraded tuners , trem. Still blah but nicer blah.

Hey rev, happy new year! Not going to enter this time as I have been blessed and own a great guitar already. She’s ugly and beat up looking, a Les Paul I rescued from a pawnshop but I knew if I put some work into getting her playable again, I’d have something special. I love my pawnshop rescue. I keep her ugly looking so I won’t be able to sell or trade her for something shiny and new. So I’m not going to enter this one. But I’ve read a few comments that I did like and vote for. Anyway, good to see you’re spreading the love. ❤🎸

@@haywiretheautomatonblokeak9437 hey brother! I love your music! I just introduced my wife to your channel. Your love of Ovation led me to bargain hunt one, looking forward to trying it. I have never played an Ovation but read a good bit about them.
@@TheRevDr Cool ! All of my Ovations are acoustic/electric and have a tuner/pre-amp in them; (some of the older ones don't have the tuner); and there are three different body types as well. I look forward to hearing about your experience with testing out an Ovation.🎼
@haywiretheautomatonblokeak9437 excellent! The one I ordered is a mid depth celebrity a/e with the preamp and tuner, and the leaf holes. I am definitely looking forward to trying it out. I was reading today about the background history and engineering, very interesting!

Shannon from Minnesota. The most wonderful person in my life is my ex GF who is my best friend. I scraped up enough to buy her a $25 guitar at the pawn shop and she is really trying to learn from a friend of mine who teaches. I do work on his guitars to pay him for her lessons, I'm a disabled veteran so I don't have income to get her a decent guitar but she is the most deserving person I know. Her son is a teen with oppositional defiance disorder. It's hard to watch her go through and she is trying so hard to learn the guitar so she can play the Carpenters and the Monkeys songs she loves. Thanks for being such a great person and good luck to everyone. I thing this is a fantastic gesture and I will support this channel the best I can!
Hey Shannon, thanks for sharing. Also thank you for your service and I hope you find some new opportunities out there. I understand the struggle of oppositional teens. My kids are not quite that age yet but in my last church I was music and youth. The youth were incredibly difficult to deal with. I know it's what every generation says, but really... Kids these days. We just moved our eldest who is in 6th grade to online school because his grades were dipping from the terrible learning environment. The kids are so unruly the teachers have to spend all their time dealing with behavior corrections. I feel like that sort of behavior just wasn't tolerated when I was a kid. Idk but it can definitely be hard to deal with. Thank you so much for your support, trying to get the channel going and monetized is a really tough process and your support is super appreciated. 🙏

Hi, I'm Sean in Pennsylvania. I record music as my own background music for World of Warcraft review videos that I make. I am really missing having a guitar for melody/counter melody and sound coloring. Using midi stuff does *not* cut it sometimes. What I do is record my bass on higher register and use sound effects to "feel" like a 6 string, which has really limited application. They aren't really "songs" per se, I consider them exercises or complete components of songs. I am by no means an accomplished musician. I am dedicated to the craft of music making. I am too dang poor to buy a guitar. I can't afford any such luxury for years. If I did win a guitar, it would be put to work.. : )

Jeffrey Jones Louisiana I really need an electric guitar I've been playing for almost 3 years with guitars of fixed up from $10 and been trying to write my own songs and music and it's a passion that I truly enjoy
@@JJon-n2o hey Jeffrey! Thanks for sharing and entering, blessings on your musical endeavors 🙏
Glad you're with us brother. 🤘🎶🙏🎶🤘
Thanks @@TheRevDr
Hey Adam. Have you played a any Jet guitars. There S and T style guitars punch way above their weight.
@@2817well no I haven't, thanks for the heads up 🤜🤛
I'm new to guitar, 🎸 in PA.
Also this is fetch. This my preferred account cause trying to start biz.
Hey Fetch, sounds like you have a good plan. Been trading and gifting my whole life...it's why I was so adamant on working with Adam on this channel. Love getting to help newer musicians. Glad you're here brother. 🤘🎶🙏🎶🤘
Glad to have you with us and thanks for sharing 🙏

Brad King from Indianapolis Indiana,i'd like a new guitar my frets are getting wore down 🎉 Hope you are well God loves you deeply shalom 🤗🐼♥️✝️💐 Philippians 4:8
Hey Brad, glad to have you with us. Shalom to you as well 🙏
Hey rev, happy new year! ❤🎸
Thanks Jimbo, great to have you. 🤘🎶🙏🎶🤘
Hey Jimbo, that is great and rescued guitars are awesome, something special 😊
@jimbo9344 We appreciate you. Glad you're here. 🤘🎶🙏🎶🤘
My name is Sapphire from Texas and I'm currently going to school for Commercial music. So far I currently make all A's and I want to slowly build my own home studio, make my own beats, and owning a guitar would be a blessing. 💖🙏🏾

Gene Morgan here; (aka: "Haywire," the Automaton Bloke.); from Michigan. I have a few younger family members that I'm introducing the guitar to. And I feel they might benefit from this guitar give-away. But whoever wins from this RevDr. guitar give-away, will certainly get a fine playable electric guitar. Good luck to all !!!
Contoured body,...which is thicker,.......medium,....and super shallow. I have found the super shallow give me more of the tones that I feel are right for the music I create.
Love your tunes Haywire and glad you're here. 🤘🎶🙏🎶🤘
@WillRed314 thank you so much. I'm glad that you're finding my music entertaining and enjoyable. "Haywire," and I,.. (lol),... are quite grateful for that. And, we're also glad to have come across and joined the, RevDr's community. Good luck to all in the new 'give-away.' 🎸🎶🎵

Hey Blaise, glad to have you with us. Check in to the channel and we will have more giveaways. As the channel succeeds and gets gear I will pass it forward to the community. Also we do small giveaways with gear like straps and pedals on Mondays at the new live streams 7pm est.
Hey I'm David i live in Michigan I'm 31 years old I love playing music I recently lost my house to a fire young and stupid no insurance and I need an outlet again cuz it's hard to get through things with out a hobie lost all of my musical instruments and my fur babies I've been holding in so much emotional things and I used to play to express my feelings laitly I have no outlet
Hey David thanks for sharing your narrative with us. So sorry to hear about all your recent losses. Music is definitely an emotional outlet. Praying that you find comfort and strength in this time of struggle. Glad to have you with us.
I'm not entering this time, lol. I would like to make a suggestion, how about guitars for Hurricane victims in the Southeast?
That would be a great idea, at this point I am limited in what I can giveaway but hopefully as the channel succeeds we can expand the giveaways to include specific charities and so forth.
@TheRevDr Awesome 😎. Thank you for considering the idea. Hope you and your family are having a great New Year's 🎉. Happy 2025.
My name is Nicholas and I’m in Ohio. I don’t need a guitar, but don’t have one I can give away. A guitar for my little sister would be an awesome gift. She just started work on her and her fiancés new (to them) home. Things like guitars and personal fun items likely won’t be in their budget for a few years. I have a VOX pathfinder 10 I would happily give her along with a guitar.
Hey Nicholas thanks for sharing and best wishes on your sister's new home and everything that entails. Glad to have you with us 😄
Victor India (manipur, churachandpur) i have a great obsession with guitar scince at a very young age I haven't owned a guitar and i would like to have one not a big deal i wanna play a guitar so baddd
@@ZomiWander hey Victor glad to have you with us in the channel community. I can't afford to ship international yet (still pre-monetization) but I will see about developing a giftcard giveaway for international folks so they could get something locally. Glad to have you with us 🙏
Hi, I'm Sean in Pennsylvania. : )
Hey Sean 👋 Glad to have you with us and best wishes on your WoW vids and music adventures.
You want long views show us how you maintain all of those instruments throughout the year.
@@granthelas4468 hey great suggestion. I have a video on how I prep for storage or shipment, but I can also do a maintenance video as well. Thanks!
