"Start warm and cool it off" just like nature will do, April May June July August hot which in some area of Europe is equivalent to the vegetative period, around mid-August the plants begin to flower arriving in mid-September to be around the fourth week of flowering, at that point normally the temperatures begin to drop right in the last 4 weeks of flower maturation, arriving in mid-October with temperatures ranging from 10 to 20 degrees maximum, perfect for harvesting and the beginning of drying ,very often it is enough to observe and copy mother nature to get the best results😃

Many long-time growers know that the quality of the HPS yield is still difficult to achieve with LEDs The most interesting thing is this debate on temperature, LEDs heat up less, you can get closer to the plants resulting in higher ppf/dli values than HPS, BUT, using a suitable cooltube system, HPS heat up less than LEDs, and you can get even 20cm from the glass without burning it, exponentially increasing the light power! Is there any test on PPF/DLI with HPS + cooltube at 20/30cm distance? It would be interesting to see an impartial comparison of the 2 technologies compared in the best of their setups, and for HPS the best setup is equivalent to having them in cooltube attached to the direct air extraction system. Of course without a cooltube the temperature produced by the HPS is an extremely important and limiting factor in the equation, but if with the HPS you can eliminate the temperature problem from the equation simply by using the cooltube, this cannot be done with LEDs, the hot air produced remains in the growroom rather than being instantly carried out of the room as with the HPS+coolbutes, resulting in an overall increase in the temperature of the growroom as much if not more than with the HPS.

I have grown my own weed indoors in a 4'x4' grow tent using either 400 watt, or 600 watt HPS lamps for about thirty-five years and have often considered trying LED lights but have never found a good reason to change what I am doing. My results have always been very good. Also, every LED manufacturer claims their lights are the best, and they are all expensive. I wouldn't know who to trust. I will just stick with what I know.

People complicate this far too much. Plants like the same temperatures we like. If it becomes hot enough or humid enough for you to be uncomfortable, your plants will feel the same way.

In my experience, 1. Even a lower branch can yield a bigger cola then the mail top. Hence the closer to the light the bigger the buds. 2. 1 being said. If you can average or balance light equally, all colas should be near similar. 3. Topping is only efficient in small/resources restricted setups. Because it ensures that most If not all branches with have an equal space to the light source. 4. In Outside grow. The toping only the main results in two, somehow "identical " colas on top. With the rest varying in sizes. 5. Finally, I have noticed that a plant that was never toped nor pinched will always be bigger and yields more give that it has never had injuries to recover from. If you can control you veg period, go ahead But it will translate to recovery time.

The plant uses its lower older growth to drain out thus steadily, turning yellow, to transfer traveler elements toward the new growth. There is an epidemic of people growing these plants but not understanding what the plant does and they’re growing weed That looks good, but it’s really not potent quality. Especially in the case of these auto flower plants, the plants aren’t even mature and you make them spit out buds, but the buds won’t be mature because the plant is not mature so you’re getting bud yeah and it looks good but the weed sucks. You can get it for $80 a half ounce, anywhere in New York City

If you low stress train your plant from the beginning the bottom becomes equal to the top. However if you do not do that the bottom branch is expel way too much wasted energy trying to catch up to the top is what this guy is missing the point on

Bigger Tops are more likely to developing bud rot. For smoking you crush them down, no need for huge buds besides the cool look. Topping is mainly for indoor, and there it is beneficial for many reasons.

Large scale vs. small scale. In michigan, large scale (high plant count) businesses dominated until gov regulations allowed smaller businesses(lower plant count) to thrive by allowing cultivation, processing of products and sales in one location which is what im involved in. No middle man and one less person who is taxed during the process to help balance costs per unit of flower for many more happy customers in a given area.

always interesting and informative videos, but I honestly don't understand this obstinacy in stating that HPS heat up more than LEDs... A properly made HPS setup always includes the cooltube, which being directly connected to the air extraction, takes the hot air produced by the lamp out of the growroom instantly, on the contrary LEDs even if they heat up less, the hot air produced will remain in the growroom causing the total temperature to increase. With the cooltube and a hps600w you can bring the plants even 10cm from the glass without them getting burned. It seems to me that this issue of temperature is just a marketing ploy created 20 years ago by manufacturers to sell the new product, given the extremely higher costs of LEDs compared to HPS, but the yield, arguably, is hardly equal to HPS at the same wattage...

I’m fairly new to growing. I’ve only got about 4 grows from seed to harvest. I have never topped a plant. I have been thinking about doing it on this grow. But I have my reservations about doing so. In my last grows I grew in a 5x5 with 4 plants in 30 gallon non till all organic BAS products. Each plant I got no less than 8 oz per plant with a Veg time of 3 months and 10 to 14 weeks of flower time. This time tho I got me a bigger tent 10x10 and have 16 plants but only going to keep 12 of them this time around. I do want to try different methods and techniques along the way. I barely planted the seeds on 8/3 all but one seed popped and are doing excellent, I even had a twin. I watch build a soil and other channels to gain as much knowledge as possible in this adventure. Any advice if I should or shouldn’t would be great
