I realize I'm in the minority but I had an ok time with this game. I saw others comment the same thing but it's like Lichdom Battlemage except dosen't crash every 3 minutes. Usually not a fan of shooting games but this was the first fps I was able to complete, even tho its a shooting game just with magic instead guns. I still can't get over the magic is literally just "Red, Green, Blue".

Creating the highest level of graphical fidelity is really expensive. In order to make things match, you can not just have realistic textures and hair, your also need lifelike animations. All that is so expensive, that the game needs a high pricetag and a massive amount of customers. Anything else, but exceptional sales would be a disappointment, and planning/expecting exceptionalism is not a god plan. From a customer PoV you can get 10 hours of magical pew pew... 1) for 60$ with most modern graphics like Immortals 2) for 20$ in kinda retro but still pretty like Amid Evil So you pay 20 bucks for a game and 40 for prettier graphics. We can assume that Amid Evil did not cost one third of 85 million to make. So it needs far fewer sales to be sustainable. The lesson learned by publishers from Immortals and other singleplayer games is that they lack monetization and long term engagement and there needs to be more money spent by the players. The lesson learned by players is that thanks to how approachable gamedev is by now, every niche taste has it's share of indies that do it well on a budget. So now we see 70$ base games with content taken away for 130$ preorders while lots of players don't give a shit about AAA any more.

2 big reasons that stood out for me. 1: have to link a completely single player game to an account 2: it’s made by EA and I would rather have my eyes popped out with a dull rusty spoon than buy ANYTHING from EA

Another thing that would have helped this game is more unique magic. Elden ring has magic so unique you can tell the orgin by looking at it and what effects it might have. Skyrim magic system was super versatile and had a spell for most encounters without completely breaking the game in most cases. IOA magic feels as bland as the story, and the lack of unique spells leaves you wanting to play a game with better magic system

This game looks a lot like Lichdom Battlemage. That game also had a lot of performance problems.

Tbh I watch this video because, what i knew about diablo immortal is that its bad, its rating on playstore was 3.8 or lower and now its 4.8 out of 5 which is really high so just here to confirm it.

I am looking to purchase this game in the future on PC and I want to know how bad is the performance because I keep seeing people saying that its really bad and sometimes they say its alright and my PC is more than capable of playing it but when I read comments about it a lot of people still having problems with there good PCs

(Xbox)Honestly as someone who has played since day 1 it sucks. Its all locked behind paywalls nowadays, the plans are impossible to get meaning youcan barely craft ammo and guns anymore. You can buy gunpacks and ammo but they do not give you the plans. Dont even bother with the game anymore, pay to win

i just read the title, i dont even wanna see the click bait title video, the game is still new with lot of thinks to do as adults which means enough content to see after work, game is not as its release state so no bugs that ive seen in my 70 hours, many classes choose and grind level up, can play solo or friends and the only negative about it is that you cant play offline, this really sucks, other than that its totally worth, now the price is a problem for many cause blizzard dont make often discounts but when it does its worth to pick it up on a fair price that will get you a long gameplay

When Diablo IV came out, I despised it. I hated the way that Blizzard went with so many loot affixes and with random drops in general. They had so many, that finding a single item worth keeping was less likely than winning a lottery. This in turn, caused an ENORMOUS loot grind and you spent more time gathering and selling/disenchanting loot than you did playing the game. It being online was also a serious problem for players who would rather just enjoy a good ARPG. This last patch has been a move in the right direction. Loot reborn is better but still has some things it needs to work out. I still don't think it's worth a AAA price tag and the monetization in the game is just insane. To get a full set of cosmetic gear costs a player 25.00 USD. That's almost half the cost of the game. People aren't buying these cosmetics because it's too expensive. If they cut the price to 1/5th that cost, you might get far more buyers. The game grind up to lvl 50 is an enjoyable experience, but from 50 to 100 it's very grindy. You will also need a PHD if you want to figure out a build yourself instead of looking online for one. If you are considering Diablo IV, I would examine why you are looking at it. It looks great. It plays great if you have a great connection. It does become boring at endgame but that is the nature of ARPG's. If you want a solo experience that is more user friendly, I suggest Last Epoch. You can also look at Path of Exiles 2 and Torchlight Infinite. All of these games offer a very satisfying ARPG experience without the high cost if you find that you enjoy them. Diablo IV has the potential to be the best ARPG in gaming, but it's brought up short by the developers focusing on the wrong directions and by a publisher who is focusing on money over enjoyment. 25.00 for a single cosmetic outfit is beyond greedy.

i hated the directioon that diablo 4 went in. i would have been fine if they kept the strict boundary of single player and multiplayer, instead of merging the two. diablo was always meant to be played alone. the lone human adventuerer who can actually pose a threat. it loses all meaning if theres full entire teams of them. and you are stuck with it.

As someone who just finished this game in 2024 for the first time its worth it finished it in less than 2 weeks great game. Good story & good combat really enjoyed it. Good game only issue is navigation other than that good game

Just started this game a few days a go and oh my. I can see myself sinking hundreds of hours into this! And knowing that the sequel is on the horizon is getting me hyped! I’ve currently hit a wall in act 1, the boss Alastor. The fact that I can’t even damage him in the slightest is what I want in an ARPG. It means I have to go grind it out somewhere and comeback stronger. So if anyone knows what weapon type he’s weak to and where I can grind to find it please let me know 😆

As someone who's literally playing Survivor right now while seeing this video: Yes absolutely specially if you have a next gen console.

I bet that even the steam deck would be able to handle the game if it was optimized at all. Truth be told Survivor isn't too far removed from Fallen Order graphically and the steam deck handled the first very well at high settings. So it isn't too crazy to think the deck would be able to handle Survivor at low or medium settings. rtx excluded of course. It's honestly a huge missed opportunity

i have a laptop with a 4080, i9 13900hx, 16gbs of ram, and it gets pretty good frame rate at max rtx/graphics at 2560x1600 stays above 60 for sure, but it loves to stutter/freeze. it is definitely not optimized, i play it on gamepass, locally installed. its the only game i get stutters in on this device.

From the best game ever at 2003-2008, they started messing up with it, then messing up more, then god patch came out. People get hyped with this new update, was a bit cool but still worse than before, then keep messing up on next updates, people left and then keep messing up since they were no people to cooperate so they added solo pve mode and auto hunting, there are more than 50k people playing lineage2 but on private servers

I play grim dawn first was recommended by a friend and try this titan... Grim Dawn is so much better this one looks slow and skill animation looks old like Diablo 2 res.

Nice video mate. Got a bit nostalgic and looked around for this game. I used to play it all the time when I was a kid, made a lot of friends and had a lot of fun. There were some golden years for this game and if not for the mismanagement it really could have still been very popular.

Me playing samurai and other dual blade type builds for DS games

This whole back and forth about magic being too op and the only way to do it is any other build, is frustrating at times. For my first full play through, I was a intelligence build. OP as all get out. But it also allowed me to understand the mechanics of the game and slowly get all of the armor and weapons, to get excited about trying different builds. I think Magic is the best starter class for someone coming in to Elden ring, that way they can learn and explore without feeling like they are having to beat their head against the wall. And then play a Different Build and beat their head against The Wall, but having a Better understanding of The Game.😊

Remembering the time my ex argued with me that magic wasn't op, and was actually harder than every other build. I've completed DS1, DS2, DS3, and ER multiple times. Magic is broken in every single one of the Fromsoft games, it's practically a part of the series.
