- Should you play TITAN QUEST in 2024? If you're into oldschool ARPGs with a lot of its quirks and no online requirements - definitely! But personally for me, it's still less attractive than something like Grim Dawn or even Diablo 2

I used to play this game back in the day. I played it to death, solo and in co-op with my brother. We even knew about a certain secret area that we struggled with for days. I loved the hell out of it. Recently I bought all the new expansions for the Anniversary Edition and started playing again. It certainly is outdated and clunky by today's standards. For gamers above the age of 35 it's worth it for nostalgia alone. Can't wait for Titan Quest II; it was announced but no release date or details yet.
P.S Grim Dawn not only shares the engine, it also shares developers. Former Iron Lore devs made Crate and developed Grim Dawn. And honestly, Grim Dawn is exactly what I would have imagined Titan Quest if it was made in more modern types.
So in conclusion, if you're older you can try TQ for old time's sake, and if you're younger just get Grim Dawn.
True! I also think that GD is a better choice for newer players today.
Just started this game a few days a go and oh my. I can see myself sinking hundreds of hours into this! And knowing that the sequel is on the horizon is getting me hyped!
I’ve currently hit a wall in act 1, the boss Alastor. The fact that I can’t even damage him in the slightest is what I want in an ARPG. It means I have to go grind it out somewhere and comeback stronger. So if anyone knows what weapon type he’s weak to and where I can grind to find it please let me know 😆

You need to play this gem .
Titan Quest is one of my all time favourite games and probably my second most played (after Dota2). You chose to be an archer.. the most boring of classes and play styles in any game.. Try again using warfare or dream mastery and you will have a whole different opinion on how the game feels.

I play grim dawn first was recommended by a friend and try this titan... Grim Dawn is so much better this one looks slow and skill animation looks old like Diablo 2 res.

Grim dawn is more casual game than Titan Quest
the animations and the sound effects, especially as a melee player really puts me off the game.... its like using a freaking pillow.
Same, I even tried playing Sacred (also old arpg) for comparison. And it's def better. Though it's a pain to launch on modern machine 😂
@@CtrlAlexDel i tried sacred too, but i couldnt get over the whole camera system. id want it fixed in place, and impossible to move..
