.. you didn't mention 2nd weapon set you should have [most commonly melee weapon + shield]. When you start with a bow or staff, they're good for ranged attacks, but are very slow, so for close combat with enemies that reach you, better switch to second set of weapons. Swords, axes and clubs have faster attack speed and you can use a shield for some protection .... also you didn't spend attributes points [you get 2 with each level-up. For magic users intelligence is primary stat and strength is primary for physical damage dealers ...
You can also make your HUD larger when using a big resolution like that.

You didn't turn in the first quest.
Anyway, it took me far too long to figure the following out: of one of your classes is nature, make that your first class, then your immediate priority is getting 7 points in wolves, which will allow you to summon 2. Do not put points in anything else until you get 7 in wolves. At that point, you will be able to faceroll the entire first act.
Put "pet attack" on your quick bar to make thinks easier. Things go down faster if both wolves are attacking the same thing. Before you get healing, you can just get a boss monster's attention and run around in circles like a lunatic while it goes after you and the wolves kill it.
You have all the time in the world to distribute skill points into whatever while your wolves do most of the work for you.

You started with a weapon but for some reason my guy didn't. Only had my fist.
