What's funny about these two, I had a similar situation with someone in high school. Besides that, one thing I discovered recently, that you briefly spoke about is the "love songs" about the two of them. The song "Calling" is supposedly written from Gwens perspective which is really interesting. Some of the lines are very indicative of this.

8:54 In my opinion she's not dancing in the afterlife. She is dancing on top of a building planning to unaliving herself. See the city skyline, the stars and the final leap. I didnt notice it at first until someone pointed it out. I think this is a brilliant scene from the writers and directors so that people can interpret it on their own from a dark or a darker level. Dandadan is my second anime i watched, first is one piece, and i think both of these has set my standard too high.

“To a Kinder World” is genuinely one of the most beautiful and emotionally charged songs I’ve ever heard. Omori’s “Final Duet” genuinely comes nowhere close. It’s crazy how this 20 minute episode made me feel for Silkie like she was the main character of a long running show.

miles is definitely gonna forgive gwen and maybe do the upside down kiss but its gonna be hard because miles slightly hates gwen now but still i think gwen has had one of the if not the best character development in movie history, being able to express her emotions now after confronting her dad

i hate SO MUCH that people just hate on her for no resaon.. most people are like "oh, she betray miles, she did this, she did that, blah blah blah." like did they not watch the 10-20 minutes of the first part of the movie bro like we were watching the same thing bro also i dont understand why these people hate gwen too some have valid reasons like she didnt tell him about the spider society and hes an anomaly and stuff like that but you have to understand she is under miguel's control at that time because she was literally brainwashed and manipulated into thinking canon events are even real until she learned her father quit the police force. also after miles escaped gwen literally stood up for bro and in the end she built an entire gang just to find and save her love interest. how are people just gonna ignore that her father literally pointed a gun at her head, or the fact that she tried to save him back at earth 10505 when the rubble fell on him

She isn't dead when she is dancing She chooses her death at that point, jumping from the roof in that last move. Why you have the thud after that final image of her child. The manga is really clear with it too, but the anime likely had to censor it.

Something to notice as well is that Silky becomes more human at the end based on her tears. At introduction her tears are off putting because of the clumpy consistency, but at the end she cry's normally. great detail.

gwen is honestly my favourite spider-person and this is because her dialouge is amazing, the voice acting was well done, the suit is fantabulous, and her character overrall is just so good, cant wait for beyond the spider verse when miles and gwen finally get together

everyone just keeps on looking at gwen betraying miles and that she doesnt love miles but what they dont see is the pain behind the mask... like bro girls dad pointed a gun at her. also she got completely brainwashed like bro miguel an adult already grown up, completely manipulating a teenage girl who is emotianal and has basically no one by her side except miles plus miles is in a completely different universe

The English dub is FANTASTIC AJ Beckles is doing an amazing job as Ken Takakura. First time he transformed in episode 2 I thought it was a different voice actor! The rest of the cast is great too but AJ is the star of the show! The dub is just perfect to me so it's the only way I'm Watching Dandadan. Also the rap song Otonke by creepy nuts in the opening is amazing, there's an English version of it by Tundra on RUclips it's AMAZING. It keeps 99% of the Japanese lyrics meaning and it's on beat so definitely check it out!!!!

I think Miguel broke the other universe because he replaced a person who is supposed to be dead. That is the "Canon Event" in that universe. Miguel was canonically dead, but 2099 spiderman replaced him and broke the canon. So the universe just gave up.

Anxiety was unstable to control of the emotions which made it difficult for Miles balancing two lives even though as an anomoly Miguel explained and felt betrayed by his friends keeping the truth about joining the spider society a secret when stuck in another universe he had a few hours and minutes to live and became a victim of spot's madness the line between friend and enemy is not as clear once it's crossed there's no going back because some transformations are permanent

Now you only need the shooters (and a radioactive spider ;) :)

Momo and Okarun are such refreshing and fun MCs

I need more ppl talking about the scene right after they defeat the sumo alien. The scene where they were holding each other, in most anime they would have made a dumb fan service joke and when they didnt i IMMEDIATELY knew Dandadan would be PEAK.

I LOVE when momo and okarun are holding/shielding each other (like during the end of the flatwoods monster fight). Like its so sweet and there's pure love between them ❤
