I never thought much about it, but there was no electricity or phones when my grandparents were growing up. They were in their 20s when those things came along. They got a house with electricity, and a phone, and a car. A radio. I don't think any of my grandparents ever got a TV.

Wearing a dress tucked down into a snow suit is an old way of doing it. Every girl did this a generation or more ago. As a child of 1961, I saw all ladies cover their heads in public. God has shown me in dreams and visions what is to come. I don't know why He's chosen me for this, but I follow where He leads me. Those w out the right heart, humble, loving, caring towards others will suffer His wrath. U can do all the things like communion, going to church, praying, delivering people, etc, and it means absolutely nothing. Not if ure heart isn't right. U will be left when He comes and not understand why. Also, He just taught me that there are false prophets and teachers that have separated the church where they make up their own rules, and they tempt His wrath. U need to follow scripture, and if ur church goes outside of that, which I'm finding the mainstream churches like Baptist, church of christ, catholic etc, have all done that. Be warned, He says. Search ur hearts, He will make known the darkness within. Do not lean on ur understanding and hubris that ure ready because I found that I wasn't when I thought I was. People do things to be seen by Him and others, and they judge unjustly. They've made a lot of people walk away from God because of their judgement. Gossip in church and in the community is a huge problem. If ure doing that, be warned, He sees it all. He also showed me I had no faith even tho I thought I had all the faith in the world. When I had the first vision, my first thought was, Oh my gosh, He's real! I'm humble and very aware now. He is bringing me there, but I had to yield. He has me share my dreams and visions because we are almost out of time, and we are at the beginning of the false peace of revelation. Don't conform, and don't be prideful and sure of urself. I pray everyone hears His words and what He's shown me. 🙏🏼 I want to see everyone w a good heart in the sky with me. Love y'all ❤

I think the off grid aspect is probably appealing to many people. I think it's good to have a form of heat, light etc off grid in the event of a power outage. But, all that control is just not biblical. The whole community with an 8th grade education doesn't help either.

I grew up Jewish. On Shabbat we weren’t supposed to turn on electric things at all. There was a non Jewish man hired to go to the synagogue prior to Shabbat services to unlock the building and turn on all the lights and stuff. Some years ago, I went to synagogue with my mother and she was showing me the motion activated lights in the kitchen. She thought it was great. I asked what was the difference between touching a light switch and stepping over a door sill. Both actions turn on the light. My mother told me not to be “so technical.” Your information about the Amish and electricity feels the same.

You didn't really explain why electricity is against the Amish religion. You might also want to explain reasons why the Amish religion/lifestyle will not fit in with hippy liberals; most notably it would be a nightmare to feminists and PETA people.

I'm not trying to be mean, but I find the Amish to be rather hypocritical. If they find so many ways to circumvent and cheat the practices representing their belief system, then they really don't believe in doing or avoiding doing these things in order to honor God. If the Amish really believe that doing or avoiding doing these things are necessary to honor God, and yet they find so very many ways around these things which are necessary to honor God, I'm sorry, but then they clearly do not seem to honor God, or they believe they can 'fool' or 'trick' God I'm truly not trying to be hateful by writing this, but I'm merely stating a logical fact. And I don't at all dislike or mean to disrespect the Amish.

I live in southeast Ohio around lots of Amish and conservative Mennonites. When I asked an adult Amish lady why they didn't teach science or history in their schools, her response was, "Why do we need to know it?". I said that science is all about the stuff God created. How God had created stars and outer space was amazing. But she said people could learn about it on their own if they wanted, but she said knowing it didn't help them in daily life. I had taken a 47 year old Amish man to a rodeo, and they sang the national anthem at the beginning. Amish are not taught that or the pledge. So after everyone sat down after the song and quietly standing with their hands on their hearts, he asked me what everyone was doing? At his age, he still didn't know.

Hey! I appreciate your videos. I'm not amish, but I am an ordained English minister. I live in an Amish home that I rent, without electricity. Personally, I would never want to go back to electricity because I stand against smart meters and microwaves due to the EMF and dangerous radiation. Also, I love living a simple life. Solar panels, lithium batteries, that's the life for me. But either way, whether somebody wants electricity or not, it's not a sin. We have the Christian Liberty to live either way.
