Hey there, Phillip...I dont know if you remember me, your cousin Laura!! 🥰 Its so good to hear your story and an encouragement and inspiration!! 🙏🩷 I know with great certainty that God has way more in store for you and your beautiful family!! He has only just begun!! 🔥❤ This March it'll be 4 years since paul n I left the amish!! Hard to believe for sure!! I encourage you to just keep seeking the Lord and his direction without fear!! I remember the heavy fear i used to feel whenever paul would say hes praying for God to lead him wherever he wants him!! I was like, well what if thats not where i want to go!! 😬🤪 It was terrifying for such a long time to think about just surrendering completely to him, yet once I did, it was exhilarating and such a joy and freedom that words can't ever express!! My heart rejoices with the knowledge that you've found Jesus and I'll keep you and your family in my prayers!! 🙏🥹 I would love to see n hear more of your story n maybe someday share my own!! Thank you for being courageous and I praise my king Jesus for you!! ❤

You're Welcome ! Hi there , and yes there is still lots to share ! Good to hear from you . I think of you guys quite often , because I know you've had a tough row to hoe . But know that we understand the hurt , the pain , and the laying down of self . Keep on Keeping on ! Don't stop getting back up when you fall . God is always there ! Love you guys !
Thank you, dear brother and sister. Your sincerity and desire to walk and please God is refreshing and hugely encouraging. I was in a sect for 28 years. God opened my eyes and set me free in more ways than one! I am now free in Christ and 2 of my 5 children are now converted. I want to share the Word with the whole world. I am praying for you, Phil. God bless you both a d may He continue to cause you to be LIGHT (Christ in you) for others.
Listening to you and Philip towards the end of the video, it was clear to me that both of you, like so many others of us, struggled to grasp the grace of God and His eagerness to forgive. Correct me if I am wrong, but it seems to me, especially in Philip's experience with anxiety going to his former church, that there is little talk of divine grace in many Amish churches. It seemed that church leaders he knew, used fear in an attempt to keep people faithfully observing the traditions.
Yes, this is very common. The Amish churches don't teach about grace that I have ever heard. It's another eye opening moment that happened to me as well and it took awhile for me to grasp that God loves me just as much whenever I sin than He does when I am doing what is right.
Not only Amish, catholic church often works with anxiety too. And they were really bad things that happened in past centuries that their priest have done to people (most is thank god forbidden today). The most crimes are done because of religion beginning by wars... that's the weird side from this if you follow the 10 commandments and if you take a look for example on islam today by some people too.
@ I just want to send you cards that I make. I don’t sell my cards, I just gift them away. I can spend over an hour making one card. I give them to my church, to nursing homes and to people that make the world a better place. I don’t want an endorsement, I don’t expect you to share them on your channel, I just want to send you a box of my cards. Can you post your email address?
