Such parallels between the Amish and the Pharisees following the traditions of men, and not God, in the Bible. Thank you.

Jesus is not God or the Son of God
Jesus is a human being and a messenger
If you believe that Jesus is the Son of God,
then you are worshiping 2 gods and this is polytheism in the one God.
I invite you to Islam and worship only one God.
      In Islam,
      God is one,
God does not give birth or be born,
God does not have anyone like Him,
God does not exist in His creatures.

@@SamA-xu9gy Islam has a problem. In the Quran it says that the Bible is the true Word of God and Allah won't allow his words to be changed. If that's true then Islam is false because the Bible contradicts the Quran. On the other hand if the Quran is false then Islam is false anyway. Either way Islam is false. Come to the only true God of Israel. The One who loves you and wants a relationship with you. The only way to that is through His son Jesus.

Thank you, in an era when most church attending Christians have a minimal understanding of gospel you have presented it very clearly with many scriptural references. The heart of Christianity is found in the five Solas of the Reformation: Scripture alone (not tradition), salvation by the grace of God alone (God saves us by changing us by the work of the Holy Spirit), through faith alone (we do "good works" being motivated by our love for God, not to earn anything in this world or the next), in Christ for God's glory alone.

Martha, the Scripture passages you read were excellent In giving divine truth to the matter you were discussing. Human beings seem bent to resist God's grace and to work to earn salvation. Not content with God's moral law alone, they tend to add so many other rules and regulations. The Jews did that, obviously the Amish, and I know that fundamentalist Christians did that back in the 1970s. Just to add to the very good material you presented, the New Covenant was prophesied in the OT (Jer 31:31-34; Ezek 36:25-27) and instituted by Jesus at His crucifixion (Matt 26:26-29). God's moral law after Christ became an internal reality which the Holy Spirit enables a genuine Christian to accomplish in daily life (Phil 2:13; Heb 13:20,21). By renewing our minds with the Scriptures (Rom 12:1,2) we embrace and celebrate the Lord's amazing grace and we live lives that reflect Him. Well, not perfectly. Our minds have been programed by the world (in your case, by a religious system) and by the fall, and need to be reprogramed by the Spirit, using His word. That is a process. I always look forward to new videos from you!

Thank you. I appreciate your support and it seems like you are a genuine believer so I am happy that you pay attention to what I say and if there is anything that I present that is not Biblical, I'd love for you to point that out. (As you did in the salvation video), I have asked another believer in Jesus to do the same, as I do not wish to spread any false doctrines to my viewers. So thank you, and may God bless you!

The term Judaizers is commonly used for the Jews trying to make the gentile Galations do rituals, such as circumcision, to be a true Christian. It made Paul angry that the gentile Galations decided to do these rituals instead of staying faithful to what he taught them: salvation by faith. In Galation 5:12, Paul infers that he wished that the Judaizers had castrated themselves when being circumcised. Acts 21 records a conference that Paul and Barnabas had with James, brother of Jesus, in Jerusalem about this situation.
In Matthew 22:36-40, Jesus's response to question about the greatest commandment of the law, He answered "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. [Jesus quoting Deuteronomy 6:5] This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. [Jesus is quoting Leviticus 19:18b] All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."
Though we will often fail, all of us Christians should be trying to be faithful to these two commandments. Of course, these two commandments set a standard that is way above the minimal standard set by the 10 commandments, which we cannot fully follow.
Thank God we have Jesus Christ. 1 John 1:7-9:
But if we keep living in the pure light that surrounds Him, we share unbroken fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, CONTINUALLY CLEANSES FROM ALL SIN. If we boast that we have no sin, we're only fooling ourselves and are strangers to the truth. But if we freely admit our sins when His light uncovers them, He will be FAITHFUL TO FORGIVE US EVERY TIME. GOD IS JUST TO FORGIVE US OUR SINS BECAUSE OF CHRIST, AND HE WILL CONTINUE TO CLEANSE US FROM ALL UNRIGHTEOUSNESS.

In Acts 18:18 Paul shaved his head as part of his Jewish vow. Most Amish understand that their rules and traditions won’t save them, but most want to keep the vow they make when baptized into the Amish church

Every Christian Church Has A Tradition, whether they know it or not. We Have A Tradition In The Orthodox Church, But It's Christ Who Does The Saving. I Was Watching An Interview With Matt Whitman And Paul Trubenbach, the priest at Saints Peter And Paul Orthodox Church In Salt Lake City, Utah, and Paul Trubenbach Catechizes his Converts To Orthodoxy, Then Water Baptizes them, Then Chrismates them. Chrismation Is When The Apostles Laid their hands On The New Converts In The Book Of Acts, This Is In The Tradition Of The Orthodox Church, but he said he's seen people In his Church Go Through This Process, but their faith was all about them. So he asked the question, Have they Really, Inwardly Given their lives To Christ?

Simple life is key . I understand the Amish way modesty and simple way but some rules are too extreme like no buttons or zip etc I don’t see anything bad on them or have bathrooms or own electricity . But it’s up to community… also God want us stay away from cities as it cause people sin … there are plus and minus. I mean for me the kind of right way is between modern and amish . Simple life minimalistic not too much technology God nature and peace. May Lord has mercy with us ❤️✝️

I believe that the Amish have good 'human intentions' with their ideology,, unfortunately intentions don't get us into Heaven,, but your righteous acceptance and faith in Jesus Christ our True Lord and Savior does... My own personal opinion,,, I don't think displaying oneself in a revealing way in public, helps anybody who is still struggling with lustful desires... At the same time I don't believe for anyone to be in complete covering from head to toe for the sake of the sinner's afflictions... Somewhere in between,, can still display beauty, yet maintain a sense of respect as a son or daughter of Jesus Christ our True Lord and Savior....

I was born in the Amish religion, also. I wish I wouldn’t fear religion like I do.
If every community would teach only the truth about everything, the truth would set them free. When they teach faith as the ultimate power, the truth will never help them.
Let’s tell the mothers and grandmothers who are constantly taking pills, medicine and vitamins to lengthen and enhance their lives, they shouldn’t be telling their children and grandchildren, the current generation shouldn’t expect to live a full life to seventy or beyond.
If someone wants to do some soul searching, here’s one. If the end came today, there are over 70 million babies who are still too young to walk. These would all be just as dead as if we were required to place their bodies in piles, with reverence worthy of the purest of innocence.
If your Bible says you should expect God to destroy the world, let me ask. Did the writers of such prophecies have any children? Is there any indication he might have witnessed a mother doting on a newborn child? Where day after day, every day of the week, every day of the month, other tasks were accomplished dependent on the comfort and health of her innocent child.
Does our faith, it’s purity and superiority, absolutely have to be verified and justified through the destruction of all life and life forms, including over a billion children under the age of eight years old?

    • @AmishTransformed
      @AmishTransformed  5 месяцев назад +1

Little children will not be destroyed. They are not old enough to think for themselves. The Bible says everyone who has life in Christ Jesus will not be destroyed. We will have eternal life. When we give our life to Jesus and place our faith in what HE did to pay for all of our sins. When we do that, we are alive in Christ, and we have eternal salvation. It has nothing to do with all the religious things that we do.

So your faith is more important than the lives of over a billion innocent children?
That attitude is why we should fear not only religion, but faith as a whole. That disconnect from reality is absolutely the most destructive addiction.
Also, the reason for all complaints, prayers and faith. Being convinced you deserve better.
