CRUISED THE EPIC TWICE..LOVELY SHIP, GREAT OBJECTS D'ART, FOOD WAS FANTASTIC...HAD A BALL ON A WESTERN MED AND EASTERN CARIB...WANT TO CRUISE HER AGAIN!!!...DOGGONE THING EVEN HAS A BOWLING ALLEY. CAPTAIN A TAD RUDE BACK IN JUNE 2016....

Can’t believe water pressure was not reliable in your solo room! This is enough for me to not reserve on this ship.

I hope they still have those guiness pies at the International Cafe.

We just got back from this ship,. It SUCKED. Overcrowded, room sucked, bed was too short , layout was terrible, small sink, rude employees, long lines,.. TERRIBLE!!! DONT GO!

We sailed on this ship on the Oct 26th Mexican Riviera cruise. On a positive note the ship is just beautiful. They have nailed the onboarding process and the medallion is great. Now for the not so positive. We had a jr suite and to be honest it was a bit disappointing. They had a fridge in the room but unstocked. Not even waters! However the mattress was extremely comfortable. I also found the balcony very small. We ordered the premier practice that included the 2 restaurants. We did the italian and steak house. The food was nothing special, actually disappointing. Overall the food was ehhh. The activities and entertainment were what you would expect. In summary, in comparing this to a suite on Holland America cruise my opinion we liked Holland America.

Interesting looking ship, I'll consider it for the future. I just got off my first solo cruise with Princess on Ruby and was on the same deck as you were and noticed that your 'cabana' balcony was almost as big as the balcony we had on Caribe deck on that ship!.

Thanks for your video. Is very well done. One thing it shows me is how carnival ships are all the same basically. The upsells are all the same. It’s time to switch cruise lines. I’ve been on carnival too many times.

We're on the Carnival Venezia right now and love it. It's such a beautiful and amazing ship. We're still learning our way around the vessel and have not been disappointed. Not sure what the low rating is, but for me and my family, it's a wonderful ride. If you want to just relax and be catered to, Venezia is the way to go.

I've sailed on Holland America, Celebrity, Carnival, and Royal Caribbean. I've book our first cruise on Princess doing the same itinerary in Mexico. I am hoping it is a line we want to continue to sailing on.

I hear that on Princess you get double night credit for sailing solo. Did you receive credit for sailing 28 nights vs 14? Or was it reduced due to the lower fare? As a solo traveler, I am interested in trying Princess out of LA, as that is my home port as well. Most of the time, I am priced out, but I will need to watch for something. Very nicely done video!

dont know why everyone wants a super big room for one person it makes no sense so its only for you to get dressed and use the bathroom and sleep that's it's that all i use my regulry room for i'm on vaction so why pay double makes no sense i love my space and not have to share with no one

Thanks for sharing your experience on second leg of your B2B cruise. We love booking the Sanctuary at least once every cruise during afternoon tea time and the future cruise deposit while onboard is a no brainer for sure! Great video! We have cruised on Princess in the past 9 times, to Caribbean, Hawaii and our most recent to Alaska. However, our next cruise is to Mexican Riviera out of LA in early 2026 on the Royal Princess. We are also doing a quick repositioning cruise on Discovery out of Vancouver (live in Victoria) as it comes back for 2026 season to Alaska. Can’t wait to check out 2 ships we haven’t sailed on yet and our first cruise to Mexican Riviera. Thanks for sharing your experience 😊

Worst cruise ship and cruise I’ve ever been on.

We have just sailed on the Venezia, and it was great apart from one thing. We had a Terrazo Cabana and every day we would find Oily Sooty Deposits over our beds and towels. Next time, we will go with a Balcony and visit the serenity area. Paying the extra just wasn’t worth it especially as there was no pool like on the Horizon, Panorama and Vista.

You have some of the best reviews on RUclips of cruise ships and cruise life in general. I hope your channel soars into the stars in the next few years. Keep up the good work!

Carnival lost me as an option for my family when they introduced menu mate. Panorama management and kitchen staff admitted it’s not something they even use so every meal was a nightmare trying to figure out. The menu mate podium was empty when we tried to talk with them throughout the trip and there was no iPad or software to enter allergens as promised. It felt like staff was very minimal all around the shop and they couldn’t care less about guests.

Have cruised solo before. Not that happy about meeting new people. Sometimes you hit it with good people. Mostly sit by myself when I eat. NCL and RCCL are not good cruise lines. Meeting new people could be done while eating or in the casino. Win someone a few hundred dollars in the casino and they will be nice to you.

Hello I love your videos, I sailed on the Firenze this past spring and found it, alone with several other cruisers very boring. The only entertainment was the sail away party. The cruise director was not always visible. He was not very personable.nor entertaining., The wait staff looked very unhappy, not many restaurants as the other Carnival Ships I've sailed. And last but least the BEST cruise director is DEON!! He entertained from day one to night before departation and was always in character!

Your video brings up a good point. When you do a back to back cruise covering the same ports, you do not have to go out both times. Or you can have two complete itineraries for the different days. I did three weeks in Alaska and could schedule outdoor activities on nice days and inside ones on bad weather days.

No single traveler can produce such top professional video clips "on the fly" sprinkling "advertising clips" in between the scenes.

Have done 6princess cruises and on the Discovery in march won't do any other cruise line love them .

I noticed twice that cooks or servers at buffets wiping their noses and not wearing gloves, I’m going on Epic in November and now I’m kinda disturbed at the cleanliness of the food staff

One of the best videos on Firenze that I've seen.

I was looking at cruising the Venezia next May for a 5 day Mexican Cruise. Seems very similar to the Horizon (was on her in 2022). The Italian theme looks pretty cool and fancy. One thing i love about the older Carnival ships though is that the Prominade flows much better. The one on the Horizon, which this ship seems to model after, seemed a bit disjointed. That's a very SMALL complaint as overall i loved the ship and the cruise.

We are booked for a mini suite in January on the Discovery and are looking forward to it! We have been on Grand, Ruby and Star. Star might be my favorite so far because of the aft lounge we went to each night on our Hawaii cruise, it was mostly empty with amazing views. Sad to see it is gone now but the itinerary and being in Christmas helped make the memories for that ship and I think Discovery will take the spot for favorite ship very soon.
