Greetings JTolan ....how have you been ? Your work seems often misunderstood and taken out of context. Sad really...it shows people intellectual dishonesty or inability to comprehend it. Its my opinion that we may never truly and fully understand the earth true nature and the mechanisms of earth and space above us...of course i could be wrong and perhaps we'll eventually figure it all out...but I'm not so sure we're meant to fully know. I myself lean towards earth being a supernatural realm ..created ...and im not one that says space is "fake" and "gay"...thats just ignorant. I however am willing to consider that the electric / electromagnetic universe theory. The fact seems to be that experiments have shown the earth to be at the center of the universe....the cosmic background radiation ..if it can be trusted suggests this. It sadens me greatly that so many people just blindly choose to trust the government and its federally funded entities such as NASA and Space X...down further into the rabbit hole we shall go...I look forward to your future contributions to this ever increasingly difficult subject. I hope your holiday break was filled with great joy and time with your family..loved ones and friends.

Yes, God's creation is FLAT. The 2nd law of thermodynamics is in fact the silver bullet to the entire planet idea. A pressure of over 1000 hectopascals at sea level only 100miles from a near perfect vacuum is just impossible. The dome is a FACT that's why we don't have 24/7 video feed of earth from the blue marble POV. BTW, the gas experiment video made by Dr. John's is also in my channel.

For us, many beautiful graphs and pictures and a happy song of 100,000 miles ... is still flat and long. Santa Claus thinks again that we are believers. But the "gift video" lacks an explanation: 1) how can this be done without a measuring point, i.e. an object fixed on the horizon, the distance of which we are trying to estimate 2) what does the horizon mean for Santa Claus? a line of clouds in the distance, on the ground or on the water surface, because the plane flies at an altitude of 38,000 feet 3) what and with what is the line of pixels inside the red stripe compared and how is the parallax angle derived from it (if possible?) I want to know - a precise description of the reasoning and mathematics, how is the parallax angle found? Maybe Santa will add it in the next video? But otherwise, an interesting topic and a thought-provoking video! Thank you for the "gift of thought".

The earth is bigger than the sun 💯

Before I found your channel I thought the earth was round. The bible says different with over 40 references to a flat earth. The sun and moon are smaller in size traveling across the earth. When I find myself in a debate or argument with round earthers I refer them to your channel. They always move the goal post or kick the can down the road. I know we must be correct with a flat earth as the round earthers always seem to end the discussion with name calling and ridicule. Thank you for the work you do. It is greatly appreciated.

I think our next step is to somehow get into the astronomy observatories and use their telescopes for long distance observations… I had a conversation with a PhD astronomer in Hawaii who said they could see candle light from California observatories… They do it in both directions..Mauna Kea to California.. The required 450 miles of curving drop is not there…

It will take some effort to follow your math, but don't you still have to contend with the following math: *cos(a) = r/(r+h),* where a is dip angle (easily seen with IR and theodolite). It's simplified with a couple of small-number approximations: *1-a^2/2 = (r-h)/r = 1-h/r* so *a^2 = 2h/r* or *r = 2h/a^2* If *h = 9km* and *a = 3°/57.3°/rad = .0524 rad.* So *r = 2*9/.0524^2 = 18/.002741 = 18*364.81 = 6566 km.* The accepted value is *6378,* so I'm a bit high by *3%* - could be worse.

You will know how much curvature there is, by studying how much of it is accounted for by airplane ✈️ pilots, which is zero, so anybody telling you any different in any way, is either deceived or deceiving….

You do realize that all earth measurement requires the horizontal plane of reference, surface or sea level? The earth has always been measured flat in all applications.

This is a fine algorithm, but you should probably base your unit conversion on data with slightly more precision than 2 digits (like those brochure numbers for lens and sensor data). Take video in the same format (that includes focused on infinity) of an entire revolution, perhaps in an open field or on a high hill, and assemble a panorama with something like Hugin or PanoTools. This should let you calibrate the lens data for your device. Gyroflow can also do a quick calibration using a monitor.

Instead of saying "The Earth is Flat" you have started to say "The Earth is incredibly Large" meaning that it`s not flat? Please be more specific.
