For a hobby, this is an incredible result. It’s not about making money as the UK is not rich in its gold deposits but damn. It’s a great way to get out the house, explore and see what you can find under your feet which many don’t realise is there anyway. Plus a little vial of gold flakes to keep is a great way to see the results of your labour, even if it is just a hobby!

Is this specific to certain areas or is it the same at any beach that is eroded? I only ask because the coast where I live is glacial deposit that is disappearing too.

Fantastic result, nature's dry blower in action at 45 seconds with that wind! Impressed with the clean up sluice, certainly caught the fine stuff. Well worth the trip out and what a way to end the year.
